The lingering hours after a fresh rain are beautiful....
That is what Posca was thinking to herself as she lounged beside a pool. She was perched on one of the highest rocks of a cliff side, staring down at the mortal world below her. It had just rained lightly, so the world glistened. The grass and rocks were sleek with water, but the sun had come out to push back the rain clouds. Now there was only a dim blue sky and soft fluffy clouds dotted along the sky. Beautiful.
This was one of her favorite observatories. There was little plant life up here for her to disturb, so she could sit and rest in peace. Rocks were very slow to decay, after all, and her powers had little affect on them.
She sighed, content. Her wings fluttered and expanded to their fullest, stretching. They were broken and cracked at odd angles, bones protruding out from black, crow like feathers. Luckily, she was able to fly quite well. The thought passed threw her mind... Perhaps she would fly down over the land to get a closer look... Or maybe she should stay.
Ah, the possibilities...

Mavundevunde loved the rain. But the weather pattern was only a stone's throw away from his seemily only passion, so it was no surprise. Where rain had come so had the clouds that shed it. But he noticed fondly the sensation of the heavy air, thick with moisture still as he drifted through the sky. And when he flew through a cloud fluffy in appearance his coat was drenched pleasantly with water droplets curling through his mane.
He swept along the air currents at a near consistant altitude, watching the land rise and fall beneath him. Some points came so high that he might land if he wanted. Such was the way of the land; it was always changing. But they weren't normally changes he noticed. So when he approached another being of power not far off the dreamy cloud god failed to notice immediately.

Posca frowned slightly as she pondered the possibilities. If she flew down over the land she risked making the beauty rot away... Still, it was tempting... Perhaps so long as she didn't fly too close...
She was also too caught up in her thoughts to imediately notice the other God that was flying close by. She stood, extending her wings to their limits, which were quite large. Larger than her body twice over. She flapped and jumped from the ledge, flying up to get some altitude for her dive.
At this time she finally noticed the other god. She gasped in suprised and weaved to the side to avoid colliding with him. Unfortunately it made her loose her balance, and she plummeted down for several frightening moments... But Posca was old and experienced when it came to flying. She beat her wings harder and managed to pull herself out of the fall. Her claws sunk into the cliff side as she panted, trying to catch her breath.
