The Shadowhill clan is a mysterious group of Saighneian. They occupy the southern most area of the rolling hills and the adjacent cave system. Most of the members have predominately black and grey pelts, with blues and purples in small amounts. The Shadowhill are a very close knit group, and don't generally welcome outsiders in their territory. Those who feel the need to venture into their territory will likely be found by one of the scouts who regularly patrol the border. Though violence is a last resort, the scouts have been ordered to escort any Saighneian they find either outside the territory or, if they insist, to Senka. Exceptions have been made, but they are rare and only in extreme circumstances.

Joining Policy: The Shadowhill are rather wary of outsiders, simply because they have lived together as long as any of them can remember and so know that they can trust each other, while they aren't so sure about rogues. They also think that different pelt colors than theirs are a bit odd looking, so they are especially hesitant when it comes to outsiders that look different from them. While they would help a cub that someone found himself/herself in their territory, they would try to find a solution other than raising the cub in the clan. They do, however, think that outsiders who have similar pelt colors to their own must have come from their clan at some point in the past, and so are much more receptive to them.

Name: Senka
Clan Leader
Info: Senka is a fairly old Saighneian and has lived in this land for many years. She is a member of the royal family who has held this territory for as long as any can remember. Though she has taken on the responsibility of border guard whenever it was needed, she prefers not to speak to outsiders. This is one reason why few new members are accepted into the clan, since Senka has seen too many not of the royal blood let down her family. She has had one litter of cubs recently, who all still live in the clan lands, and deeply loves her mate, Stormcloud. Storm and Senka run the clan together, though they take input from their clan members readily.

Name: Stormcloud
Clan Leader
History: Stormcloud is the mate of Senka, and though he doesn't have any power officially, being mated to the leader of the Shadowhill clan does give him some prestige, and any Saigh of the clan will listen to him. Storm was not born of the clan, and in fact originated in the plains, like so many Saighneian, but at some point during his youth he found his way into the Shadowhill clan and fell deeply in love with the heir to the Shadowhill clan. Senka and Storm have now had a litter of four cubs and are raising them in the clan. Storm's duties to the clan consist of hunting and scouting, like any male, however in times of war, he leads the clan along side Senka into battle.
Personality: Stormcloud is a bit of a pushover, really, and this is something that his cubs take full advantage of. He really prefers not to get into conflicts, something which causes some of the Saigh born to the Shadowhill some concern, since he is supposed to lead them in times of war, along with his mate. It's just as well, then that the Shadowhill are not at war, and Storm hopes that everything stays as it is, peaceful. He greatly enjoys his scouting duty, since it usually just involves running about the open land and sniffing scents, since few Saighneian from the plains intrude on the clan's territory. Hunting is fun as well, but Storm has always had a bit of a problem being quiet enough to catch any of the smarter prey animals. He is a large male after all, and those branches just refuse to stay quiet under his feet. This means that he is more often assigned to scouting duty, so really Storm has no problem with his lack of skill in that area. When he is not on duty, Storm absolutely adores spending time with his cubs and they often end up in four against one wrestling matches. Though his relaxed nature can sometimes get on Senka's nerves, all Storm has to do is flash one of his too-cute-to-be-mad-at smiles and all is forgiven. Though he would prefer never to get into a fight, Senka knows that he would defend the cubs and his mate until death if necessary, for his love for his family is so strong.

Name: Shadowfoot
Heir
History: Shadowfoot was the first born of Senka's litter, and is therefore the heir to the Shadowhill Clan. She spends large amounts of time with her mother learning what any matriarch must know. She is not the most skilled huntress, but she is learning quickly, since a matriarch's first duty is to make sure the Clan has food. She is often taken out on scouting missions as well, since she must know her territory by heart if she is to defend it in the future. Despite being an heiress, Shadow spends as much time as she can playing with her siblings.
Personality: Due to her preference not to obey rules, Shadowfoot is a bit of devious cub. She has been known to run away for days if given the opportunity, though after the last time, she is staying a bit closer to home. She often acts like she doesn't enjoy the long hours spent running around and talking with her mother, but really the dark cub idolizes her mother for her strength and wisdom. She does want to make the clan proud someday when it is her turn to take lead, but she also wants to enjoy being a cub. Whenever her siblings start to make fun of her for being the heir, Shadow tries her best to convince them, usually in the form of a tackle, that it is not advisable. Shadow greatly enjoys spending time with her younger sister, Little Cloud, since Cloud isn't one to make fun of her as much as her brothers do. This had led the two sisters to being close friends, though they each spend time with one parent more than the other due to their obligations.

Name: Little Cloud
Huntress
History: Little Cloud was the second female cub born to Senka, placing her in the position of any second-born. She is not the heir to the Shadowhill throne because she was born a few minutes after her sister. She is, however, in a good position to become the clan's lead huntress when she grows to adulthood, since she had proven to have remarkable tracking and stalking skills. While she is in many ways the direct opposite of her father in her skills, the little cub has grown very close to her father, more so than any of the others from her litter.
Personality: Little Cloud, despite being the second born female, holds no resentment for her older sister. She is in fact quite pleased to not have to sit through lessons with her mother, and instead can go out on scouting trips with her father or others of the clan. Though she is already shows promise of surpassing her father in hunting abilities, she still prefers to go out with him to scout. She puts up with lessons from the more skilled hunters of the clan, since she knows that her talents must be utilized for the good of the clan, but she much prefers the relaxed cavorting that her and her father partake in during their "scouting." Little Cloud is a free spirit, and there is a fear that she may some day decide to leave the clan, but that day is still a far ways off, since she is but yet a cub. When she is not practicing her stalking on unsuspecting butterflies, Little Cloud, true to her name, can often be found laying on her back in the grass and gazing at the clouds, imagining the adventures that she could have if only she was allowed to explore freely. Her affection for her father, though, is likely to keep the little one in the clan for a long time past her maturation, a fact that Stormcloud is not oblivious to. Little Cloud knows that her father would miss her far too much if she were to leave, and she does love the feeling of the southern sea mist on her fur. Home is still home, no matter how far the spirit roams.
Notes: The cubs of this litter will not grow until two months after all of them have been adopted. I want to be sure that they all have reliable owners

Name: Stormchaser
Hunter
History: The only male of his family, Stormchaser is not doted upon at all. He's driven by his father to be a perfectionist of every aspect. Though he does what he's told, he's very snappy and doesn't really like being forced to do anything. Stormchaser feels that his time is his own and he wants to spend it doing what he wants to do. Sometimes it's following his sisters, and sometimes it's just arguing with everyone in the clan. However, he does have a sweet side. He's very close to Littlecloud and protects her whenever she sneaks out. He gives Littlecloud excuses to go out and have fun while he's stuck doing lessons with Shadowfoot.
Personality: Rebellious and loyal at the same tie, Stormchaser's a pawful for family and siblings alike. He will talk back, he'll also apologize for doing so when he realizes he's in the wrong.
Notes: The cubs of this litter will not grow to adult until all have been adopted, so yeah, it might take a while.

Name: Shahelda
Huntress
History: Last born and the smallest of the litter, Shahelda doesn't get to much freedom. She's ever watched by Whispy Cloud and the other members of the family and the clan. Being the last born, she has no responsibilities, really, but to stay healthy and alive. However, Shahelda is quite sickly because of her weight. During the birth process, she had complications that made her the way she is today.
Personality: She's quiet, not very adventurous and would rather listen to stories than play a game. Littlecloud finds her very boring, but secretly, Shahelda looks up to all three of her elder siblings. She wants to play, but knows with her weak heart condition, she can't.
Notes: The cubs of this little will not grow to adulthood until all of them have been adopted, so it might take a while.
