Like hardly at all. I think I posted twice in the SSS and thats it. And so, those of you who care are probably wondering where I was at.
Well first from 9-2:30 I was at work. I was actually schedule to work until 1 but hubby couldn't get me till later because he had a job interview. I think I did something wrong so I'm really hoping I don't get into trouble.
After that hubby and I went and looked at a two bedroom townhouse. It had stains. So...eww. No.
We went home and looked up some other places and found a place that they are currently remodeling, and they also had townhouses. We called them and they were really nice and told us they would show us. They said they would allow a cat in the two bedroom, but not the one bedroom. They showed us the two bedroom. It was really small, and the doors and stuff were low becuase it was old. Plus the people in the building looked like they never worked.
Then the owner was like "Well, you all seem nice. How big is your cat?"
We told him, and he said he'd let us have Kisa. So we went to look at the other place, which they're completely redoing. They're painting the walls, putting in new counters, redoing the carpets...pretty much everything. Then after they finish the rooms they're doing the hallways as well and working on the outside of the building. Its a one bedroom, but the rooms are way bigger than any of the rooms in the two bedroom, and a lot nicer. They had a finished on that they were showing, and it was really nice. There are three stories. We're getting one on the top floor, just because there isn't many in the middle and the bottom floor has a door into your bedroom which freaks me out.
Its $355 a month, which is wonderful. It'll be about 1k to get it (with the first months rent, security deposit, pet fee and stuff). So unless something falls through with the application hubby and I have a place 3nodding

I am a little worried about them calling our old landlord. We were never loud or anything but we weren't exactly the cleanest...

Ame no Tenshi I am a little worried about them calling our old landlord. We were never loud or anything but we weren't exactly the cleanest...
don't worry about that. they just want to make sure that you actually pay your bills when they're due. and have not been a pain to anyone else around you. congratulations on getting the place you wanted. it has to be either your state or just the area it's located in, but i was shocked to hear a two bedroom, being worked on, that does allow cats, and blah blah... could only cost you a little more then 300$ a month. i've seen and heard of several states where even the lowest one bedroom in a bad neighborhood was no less then 450 maybe. the best ones i ever saws that were in good areas and one bed was around 600$ so if you found a place where you would want to live, for the size you wanted, that is being renovated before you move in and allows cats... then you got a very sweet deal. and i don't think congratulations are enough. wink

no one is the cleanest my dear... its so much easier to find things when you know where they are... especially if that is in a messy room...

The most expensive places in town...like the REALLY nice places are only about $700 a month (like 3+4 bedroom townhouses and stuff). So nothing is expensive. My town is one of the cheapest (nice) places to live in the country
