I just finished my second pack of birthcontrol and I've had my period for 5 days. Unfortunately during the 3rd day it stopped coming as much... As in it went from light (day 1), heavy (day 2) regular (day 3), to light (day 4 - 5). It's really scary because I have sex all the time and birth control is my only method of contraception. I'm not sure what to think or do for that matter. I used tampons on day 2, and 5. My period wasn't as heavy or equivilant to the amount that it usually is. My first month of pills caused me to have a 26 day period.
HELP! I'm scared =(

You need to see your doctor.
Birthcontrol usualy takes 3 months for the body to adjust to.
It sounds like you've been on it for a while, so defenitly go to your doctor.

The pill can make your period lighter, that's why several girls go on the pill.
Like the other said, any douts see your doctor.

Don't stress...I'm going through the same thing. I started the pill on Sept 19th and I still have my period now!! (14 days) Your body is prolly still adjusting to the pill. Your hormones for the first few months on the pill may cause strange things. It's just your body adjusting.... mrgreen

It sounds like you are adjusting to the pill. I don't know much about this kind of thing though..I'de still go to the doctor, better be safe then sorry. G'luck.

I don't take the pill, and when I'm on my period I have a "clean day" as in I don't lose any blood, and the day after it becomes heavy and all of a sudden it stops. It's been doing this for about 4 years now.
Maybe it's your period regulating to the pills. ^^

Well I can say that I am going to be in your shoes soon. I am going on the pill because of my period and I am scared. I am not sexually active but am scared of what will happen when I take the pill.
