not really, but someone had her name on her band camp nametag spelled wrong, and it stuck xd

i have names the guard has given.
my fave being "thunk-thunk"
XD
i fell during a winter guard performance, tripped over my pants.
according the other girls it made "thunk" sound on the gym floor.
and now they call my "short stuff" or something to the effect.
im usually the shortest on guard. and even if im not (and im not this year) they still call me that.

We have nicknames in my band. Mine is "Tex" my boyfriend's is "Froot loop" my sister's is "Simon" because she is the Drum major and kept saying "Simon says..." so she was dubed simon. there are a whole lot more like "Trumpet Sk8er Grl" and "Snuffy" but there are a lot, and i dont want to type them all out. xp

Those are the only ones I know of so far. Then again, all except for one is in our percussion section. =] (Oh yeah, and as for Dan's nickname, Will is our percussion instructor.)

we have alot of nicknames in my band. it is common to have a nickname. if you don't have one you are most likly a rookie and no name has been found for you to have. your nickname will change alot. it can be the name of an alumni who did what you are doing or it could relate to your drill. it depends really. i have had 7 nicknames; baby reniee, reniee, ping pong, katie u., speedy, buffy and flag girl.

Yes... In my percussion section I have named everyone. But someone has given me a name also.
Me... Peach
Cat... Kitty
Brian...Freckles
Greg... Elie (wears a Mannings jersey all the time)
Chris... Rainbow (always gets in strange accidental gay moments with Bri)
And there is this kid in my Math class I call Twig.

Our percussion seccion gets our own t-shirts, and we used to put nicknames on the back of them, but it got old

ours was to add a -fa after the first syllables of our names. i.e Shay-fa (Shayna) and Meg-fa... rolleyes

Once my name was spelled wrong. Mr.H wrote Skaadi instead of Skadi. xD
And my nicknames are Cripple and Special. xD [I'm NOT in a wheelchair, fyi.]
