"Park?" Emmet asked curiously, but it was the sort of curiousity that came along when he was uncertain if something was safe or not. The little Leucistic Python had his little arms wrapped tightly around Riley's neck, and his tail curled around his Guardian's middle. The military man had learned from their last outing that Emmet couldn't keep up to him very well, and so resorted to carrying the boy if they were going to be walking for a while.
"Kind of. Its more of a...theme park? Its got Rollercoasters and games and other rides...but most of them are for big kids." Riley explained, one arm wrapped around Emmet's back while the other hand was reaching for his own wallet; they were nearing the ticket area, and thus it was slightly important. Rysha, Riley's housemate, Tryst, Emmet's twin sister and Stella their adopted sister were at a girls day out, which left Riley and Emmet to their own devices. The military man thought a theme park would be a good idea, if not to get Emmet used to crowded places and loud noises, but also to potentially meet other kids his age. Though if he had his own choice he would have liked to go to a shooting range; but Emmet was too young to even get through the doors, nevermind hold a gun.
"Is it scary?" The snakeling asked, slithering only slightly away from Riley when he was let down and let into the park itself. He gripped Riley's hand tightly, looking around him at all the colours, the flashing lights, everything. It all seemed...too much. Then he saw the Cotton Candy machine. His dark eyes seemed to brighten just a little bit, and he pointed at it. "Whats that? Can I have it?" Riley glanced at the machine and headed towards it, taking Emmet along.
"One, please." He told the vendor, his hand reaching down to take Emmet's to make sure they didn't get seperated again.

Henri and Izzy were nearby, the latter clasped at the former's hip. Henri was not usually one for crowds, let alone the terrible shrieking and dinging and repetitive banging that came with a fun-park. Izzy had seen it on the road, though, and had asked only ones, her eyes wide and pleading. Henri had said no, and Izzy relented. It was that fact in and of itself that made Henri turn around and bring the child to the park, much to her delight. Izzy now sat happily in her father's arms, licking and nibbling an over-sized, colorful lollipop. She waved to the white snake-boy. He looked like Saedah! Like Saedah, but less pink...

Red slitted pupils moved, the only real indication that he was looking around, and instantly fell on the creature that was waving to him. It took a moment, but once he realized he was the one she was waving to, he gave a little squeak and clung to Riley. A moment later, he raised a pure white hand and waved back shyly, trying to not look at her directly.
Riley glanced down at the snakeling, then over to the two he was waving to. After getting the cotton candy he started moving towards the pair, distracting Emmet to the truth of their destination by handing him the cotton candy to mull over. When he realized where they were going though, the snake boy gasped a bit, his black eyes wide.
"H-hello..." The little leucistic said shyly when Riley gave him a little nudge. The boy needed to be more social, "M'Emmet." He mummbled, his forked tongue flicking out from between his lips.

Izzy smiled, licking at her lolly a moment before responding.
"I'm Iddabewwa. Caw' me Iddy, if ya wan'." Everyone else seemed to, really. Maybe her name was too long. if it was too long, why had Daddy given it to her?
Henri shifted under the toddler's weight and offered out a hand to the other man.
"Hi. The name's Henri. Henri Donateaux." Only when he spoke his last name did his accent smack at all of French.

Emmet stared at the girl with wide, black eyes. "Uhm, H-hullo, Iddy." He said shyly, his poot cotton candy 'cone' getting squeezed rather than eaten. There was another nudge from Riley, and Emmet made a thoughtful noise. "W-what kinda lolli is that?" The snakeboy asked, pointing to the lollipop she had with the hand that was holding the cotton candy. Clearly, Emmet failed at conversation starters.
"Riley Grey. Nice to meet you." The military man said, reaching out to take Henri's hand. His gaze drifted down to the girl with the lollipop; a D-corp? Had to be, Henri didn't seem to have a sort shell on his back. "So what brings you to the park?" Riley failed as hard as Emmet for conversation starters; but he was a little bit better.

Izzy looked hard at her lolli. Hrm. It tasted like sugar. "Rainbow?" she offered, and then held it out toward the boy, "Taste?" Maybe he would have a better idea as to what kind of lolli it was.
"Uh...puppy-dog eyes," Henri said honestly, giving a little nod, "I couldn't resist. I've been you-know-what-whipped by a toddler."

Emmet's pale eyebrows lifted in curiousity when she answered. Rainbow? What kind of taste was that? Red pupils moved to focus on the offered treat, his tongue flicking out as he decided what to do. Eventually he reached out with his free hand, taking the lollipop from her. He stared at it, then over to his uneaten cotton candy, and offered her that in exchange. "Just gotta lick it, right?"" He asked the girl, staring at the lollipop. He'd never had one before! Usually he ate things in one fell swoop, he'd never actually licked anything before.
"I see." Riley couldn't help but grin. "She's pretty young to have that talent, isn't she? I feel sorry for you." The pain of being whipped was one he knew all too well...Crescentia was so good at it. "I'm trying to make this one more social. I'm fairly sure he's a chicken in snake's skin."

"I think he's adorable," Henri laughed, "and that's not the only dangerous talent she has. Her grip is...Jesus." That's right, Henri. Her grip was Jesus himself.
Izzy stared at the cotton candy before plucking a piece of the candy floss off and putting in her mouth. Ooh! It melted!
"Mmhm," she said with a little nod, mouth and fingers sticky, "Lick." And then she went about doing just that to her fingers.

"You can have him, if you want." Riley offered, but in a tone that made it had to tell if he were joking or not. A curious expression littered his face at the talent. "Wow, must be god-like." He mentioned in passing. "What is she, exactly?" He couldn't recall seeing a creature like her before.
"Oh." Emmet said thoughtfully, staring at the lollipop for a little longer before flicking out his dark, forked tongue and pressing it against the spit-wet lolli. Well, it smelt like Iddy and it tasted like sugar...and probably Iddy. He didn't make a habit of licking people so he couldn't be sure. But...it was good, at least! "...Tastes like rainbow." The snakeling agreed, offering her her lollipop back.

"Well, she's a little girl first," Henri said. 'What' didn't really hit him as something to call his darling daughter, "but a chiton magnificus second. A mollusk. They're...strong little things. Harder to peel off of rocks than mussels."
Hah! So she was right! It was a rainbow lolly. She took her lollipop back (after all, it was hers, regardless of how tasty the cotton candy was) and handed the little cone of candy floss back.
"Is good. Taste like pink."

"I see." Riley mused a little bit, trying to recall any information on the mollusks. He failed of course, and instead nodded. "Must be tough to have a strong kid." His gaze went to the little ones, then back to Henri. "We'll be here for a while, did you want to stay and let the little ones play?"
"Pink? Even th' blue parts?" Emmet asked curiously, suddenly very interested in the fluffy stuff that tasted like color. He took a piece of the pink floss, putting it into his mouth. Whoa, it melted! He opened and closed his jaw as if chewing...which was something he never really did. "Pink tastes good." Emmet mused, slitering closer to Iddy to share his cotton candy with her. "Want more?"

"Sure, that sounds good," Henri nodded, "Izzy can't seem to have enough friends as it is. Does Emmet like rides?" Frankly, he didn't know if Izzy would like them either, but he was damn sure she would. She was an adventurous little girl.
Izzy nodded and reached out, taking a bit of candy floss and nomming lightly. She offered her lolly to Emmet.
"Want?"

"Don't know. He's been afraid of everything else...I think he'll run screaming and probably puke on something." Riley said honestly, though his words did taper off a little bit at the end. He did however, nudge the little snakeling, leaning down to him to whisper something in his ear.
"Kaay." Emmet said to both Riley and Iddy, trading the cotton candy for the lollipop...until she wanted it back, anyway. Then he recalled the nudging Riley had done, and he scratched the scales on his own hip nervously. "Uhm...D-does Iddy wanna go play o-on the r-rides?"

Izzy tore at the cotton candy, still holding it out for Emmett. She didn't appear to want to hold the sweet captive, she just didn't want her lolly any more. She itched a bit at her hairline, stickying her pretty black locks, and then nodded.
"Yuh."
Henri tilted his head. Strange, how Riley had said that Emmett wouldn't like rides and then told him to go on them. Hey, whatever!

Emmet put the lolli in his mouth, careful to hold it with his lips and NOT swallow it whole. When she agreed to go on the rides, he gave her a half smile and held out his hand for hers like he'd seen Riley do to Crescentia. He wasn't looking at her though, and instead he was looking around to see what there was to do. The first thing he saw were little strawberries, which he pointed to with his free hand. "Dat oneh?" He mummbled around the lollipop.
Riley figured that prompting Emmet to do things that could scare him was a good way to make him get over his fears and not be such a scaled chicken. When Emmet seemed to make the initiative to do something, he had to admit he was a little proud of the boy. Still he stood back, letting Emmet do what he wanted...but at least keeping an eye out for him.
