The sun was at its peak high in the sky but the warmth did little as a crisp autumn breeze blew through the trees. The multi coloured leaves blew to the ground already heavily coated in rotting leaves. The frost would be here soon and so would the winter. Black hooves struck the ground in a rhythmic pattern a tan hided and sunset stripped stallion galloped through the forests effortlessly avoiding the trees obstructing his path. His sparkling blue and pink mane flew behind him as he continued onward to his destination.
His light gray-green eyes glanced ahead seeing the forest thin, he had almost reached his destination. Mulciber continued on breaking through the woods, coming out into the clearing. Mulciber stopped and examined the area. Glancing around the stallion noted no one else was nearby at least not near enough to bother him. A large lake stood in the center of the woods with a cliff waterfall feeding it and a river running from it.
Walking forward the stallion came closer to the waterfall entering the cave behind it. This was his home the place where he wouldn't be disturbed by other soquili. Besides who needed others? They were all the same. He growled exposing his sharp Kalona teeth before lying down in beside the waterfall entrance; listening to the water crashing against the rocks below.

A spotted hide twitched slightly as a breeze blew past. It was getting colder and the leaves were starting to fall, which meant winter will be around sooner rather than later. A snort escaped from the small mare's nostrils at the thought. Her least favorite season was on its way and she couldn't do a thing about it. With a sigh, she just continued to trot through the trees, the red sleeves on her legs brushing over the leaves on the ground.
Over time, Marsiela found the trees were few in between and started to hear an odd, 'roaring' sound. It wasn't like any roar she heard before, especially the ones her mother's mountain lion companion was able to do. Curiously, she made her way toward where the sound was coming from. Upon coming upon a clearing, she saw that there was also a lake. It wasn't that much different than the lake near her home, but this one did have on distinct trait the other one didn't... a waterfall. Her forest green eyes gazed upon it in awe for some time before giving a nicker in delight.
Wanting to get a closer look, she trotted closer to the rushing water. Small beads of water clung to her fur as she walked through the mist that sprayed up as the water crashed into the lake bed. That's when she noticed something. Was that a path leading behind the waterfall? With a curious tilt of her head, she walked to and down it, wondering what could be behind the falling water.

'Clip, clip, clop'
The sound came closer and closer from the base of the cave entrance. Rising to his feet Muciber growled smacking his spaded tail against hard stone wall. Most soquili just passed by content to gaze out at he front of the waterfall but one seemed to have strayed.
"Who's there?" he inquired in his arrogant manner he had become accustomed to. Well it usually scared most of the more other soquili away, that and seeing he was a half kalona. Mucliber stayed further from the cave entrance not allowing the other soquili to catch a glimpse of him.

Ears perked at the sound of something echoing down the cave. Was there something or one already in the cave? If there was, she hoped it wasn't something scary. Curiosity seemed to led her on, taking one cautious step in front of another, eyes stuck ahead of her.
Hearing a voice, her eyes widened and stopped in mid-step. So this cave did belong to someone... and she was trespassing. The mare remained silent, not knowing if she should respond, though she had already been heard. What if the owner got mad? With a small swallow, she took another step forward. "I-I'm sorry to bother you. I didn't know there was someone in here."

Mulciber growled and took a few steps forward from the back of his cave, he head a mare's voice though it was mostly drowned out by the thundering falls. He snorted angrily trying to get her away. Wings would have been so much more impressive... But he had a tail, and it would do. He whipped his tail back and forth in an angry manner.
"It doesn't matter if you though no one was here," he said coldly "Did you think to ask?" he tossed his head shaking his long sparkling mane out of his face.

Marsiela took a few more steps before stopping when she heard the growl. Well, it seems that the owner of the cave was upset, but it wasn't her fault, she didn't know that there was someone inside until just recently. At his question, she snorted softly. "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to ask and possibly look like I'm crazy for talking into a cave if it was empty. That makes sense." She replied. She really wished she knew what or who she was 'arguing' with, but she was being a bit cautious about going further into the cave... for all she knows, she could have stumbled into a kalona.

He snorted in return "Be courteous at least." he said sarcastically coming into her view he was fairly largely built thanks to his Kalona blood, His long sparkling hair he had inherited from his mother really clashed with his Kalona half. He looked a lot less frightening than he was trying to be.
"Your pretty Small." he snorted slightly amused most normal soquili where smaller than he was.

"Sorry." She said softly, taking a few more steps forward. When the other stepped into view, she looked up at him... not like she had much of a choice. At first, she thought he was a bit girly looking, but upon seeing his spaded tail, she got a little worried. Her mother had warned her about the species that had spaded tails, kalonas, but she had never met one. This one didn't have all the traits her mother mentioned though, so did that mean that he was only part?
At mention of her height, she huffed in anger. Much like her father, she had an anger at her height being pointed out to her. "Your point? Oh, big deal, you're tall... you don't hear me commenting about 'how's the weather up there' do you?"
