Reiko - I don't feel safe when she's not around.
Grove - The little pest steals Reiko's attention from me!
Runt - He's alright. He'd better be able protect Reiko well.
Shade - I certainly don't trust him...
Personality: Traumatized by his past, Zander is very cautious and skeptical about strangers. He can seem very rude and antisocial when he avoids people and pokemon. This sandshrew has an odd fondness for electric type pokemon. It's the only type he really feels secure around, and will befriend them instantly if given the chance. Then he turns to this friendship for protection in times of peril. The opposite goes for grass types - particularly bulbasaur and its evolutions. There may have been a haunting encounter with one of these pokemon in the past, no one knows for sure. He longs to visit the desert, he loves the heat and sand. Hiding himself safely in a burrow of sand is his favorite thing.History: Zander's past was full of torture, being involved with the rockets for most of his life. He rarely speaks of it, and refuses to evolve for anyone because of it. He was rescued when Reiko came into his life, and although he's still not willing to fight, Zander is thankful and devoted to her in every way.

Reiko - I'm glad she's my trainer!
Zander - Why's he always so grumpy?
Runt - He's such a good friend!
Shade - I wonder if he even knows how to laugh. Personality: Grove is silly to say the least. She'll do anything from repeating a cheesy joke to standing on her head to make someone laugh. She does act childish, even foolish at times. This does not diminish her naturally wise and intelligent characteristics as a hootoot. History: It took a little longer than her brothers for her to fledge. She was afraid of the world, and she just loved her noctowl parents! Finally, she left the nest, and found a flock of hoothoot to socialize with. She didn't even know what a trainer - or much less a human was before she met Reiko. Grove was instantly captured, but she adjusted well. She loves her new home with Reiko and the gang.
