ghost reflection
I have nothing against the human body or reproduction. I think sex is great. I am an artist and I draw n***s all the time. I don’t think porn is pretty, and I don’t like the way it presents the human body. I think the human body is beautiful and it deserves more respect than to be presented as a play thing for people to get off on. I like romance, I think it’s wonderful, but there is nothing romantic about porn.
(I blah, write as I think, sorry if i rant)
Oh thats a great view. Here I was expecting prudishness or general squemishness but im glad that wasn't the case (sorry no offense).
Hmm...I wouldn't say there's nothing romantic about porn...Now I don't know if you were simply referring to what most people define now as "romantic" or not but the way you spoke of the human body led me to believe that you were speaking of or relating (in some way) to "romantacism".
And although there are so many branches of it it was basically pushing the norm, the conservative, the politicaly correct and indulging/expressing human emotions and ideas in new and interesting ways. And although the human body is beautiful it is human and has many different sides to it not just the Michaelangelo scope of things. Porn usually isnt flowers and candles but it expresses the raw unreserved lust and want that is in all of us (no matter how deep buried), it indulges in fantasy and the emotions that those fantasies stir in us, certain ones that can only be truly understood by those with certain mindsets. Even if people don't think of any of this while their horny or hot or don't connect their lust to anything remotely complex. It's still there! Boiling beneath the surface!! Something without words, fueling people...(ok i shudnt finish that id go on forever ><)
OMG I be rantin like a crazy person!!! lol sorry
redface So to make thigns simpler let me start from >>>>>
(dont disregard all the information from the first one)

And although the human body is beautiful it is human and has many different sides to it not just the Michaelangelo scope of things. And in a way that revealing truth, the fact that the lust, fantasy, the purely erotic, the "perverted", lays just beneath the surface, I think, has a sort of bohemian charm (this has a different point but is sorta similar to teh first one) that could definetly be considered romantic.
ok sooo
neutral ... it being realistic is romantic and even if it's not "pretty" I think it still deserves some artistic appreciation.
