Kuno curled up in a sunny patch beneath a tree, listening to the rustle of the leaves on the branches. He closed his eyes half-way, relaxing with the scenery around him. Letting out a sigh, he took in a deep-breath, gazing out into his thoughts. Lately, he hadn't seen other foxes around, but at the moment that didn't bother him. Though, he still wouldn't mind any company. Why wouldn't he? Pretty much all of his life, he had grown up all alone, and never really talked to anyone much. He rarely had the opprotunity to. At the thought, he let a short, low moan escape his maw at the saddening thought, and then gazed back up at the sky.

The afternoon had steadily progressed into something of a later hour, though the sun was still shining rather brightly in the blue sky. Clouds were passing and the breeze whistled, but even still, Sapphire found herself abnormally sleepy for some reason. She hadn’t had too great a rest the night before, which was strange because she’d slept more than enough. Currently, the royal blue and gold vixen was looking for a place to indulge in a short nap. When an area of interest met her pale eyes, she trotted over to the shady tree, only to nearly trip over someone who was already there. This left her very much awake and very, very sorry.
“Ah!” she exclaimed, falling back onto her haunches in surprise, “d-do forgive me, sir. I must have given you an awful fright. I do apologise!”

Kuno scrambled up onto his own haunches, pricking up his ears and openning his eyes up fully again. He was shocked to actually be stepped on, though it merely felt like a bump. "Are you alright?" He asked her, his voice held a tone that was calm and unsure. "Did I frighten you? I'm awfully sorry.......I should of picked a better spot," he added, dipping his head and pulling his ears back submissively. He glanced up at her, not fully getting the chance to before, to take a small look at her. She was a charming young lady, with beautiful silver eyes. He noticed the small glint of her jewelry, the braclet-like things on her front legs and the clip in her head-mane (as he called it, at least). She also seemed to be of a "higher class", based on how nice her fur seemed to be kept and the gold and silver jewelry.

Sapphire’s golden-lined ears perked, listening, while the other fox apologized when he certainly didn’t have to. After all, it was her fault. She should have paid more attention as to where she was going. When the reynard finished, she shook her head and placed one of her paws upon his, gazing at him sweetly. “Oh, no. It’s quite all right. I should have kept mind to where I was walking. Do forgive me,” she smiled, swishing her tail some. Then, retracting her paw, she tilted her head and blinked.
“Say,” she began, looking optimistic, “I don’t think we’ve made acquaintances yet. My name is Sapphire and it’s an absolute pleasure to meet you, sir.” She bowed her torso politely and crossed her front legs in a fox-like curtsey.

Kuno looked up fully this time, returning his ears forwards before replying, "I'm glad, then." As she continued to talk, he noticed her figure was beinning to relax and he began to relax a little more himself. "My name's Kuno, and I think that the pleasure is all mine, madam." He returned her fox-like curtsey with a bow of his head and stretching out one of his front legs, tucking the other one in. Returning to his regular sitting-position on his haunches, he turned his body to reach the fur on his back where she tripped over him, and began to groom it down. Turning back after a few licks,he met her gaze and added, "It's such a beautiful day out, don't you think? And what an awquard way to meet on such a nice day, but it's all fine, I assure you."

This particular fox loved conversation. She felt as though it opened a new door to the endless possibilities that talking with someone brought. Her expression brightened several shades as she nodded and giggled a little. "Oh, I agree. Lovely weather indeed," she answered, blonde bangs fluttering in the small breeze. "So, Kuno, was it? Do you usually come out here on days like this? I've been out here a few times myself, actually." Only as of recent, she should have mentioned. Mother and Father hadn't found it right for her to visit such a place in her youth. It wasn't at all "proper".

Kuno began to wag his tail a little, and slowly. "Really? That's sound's nice to do that for a couple of times. And no, I think this is my first time being under this tree." He looked down a little, before adding, "I usually don't visit a place more than a couple of times, since I don't have a home. The world is my home, I guess. Usually people don't care about if I have a home or not, or they just don't really notice anyway......" Letting out a short sigh, he looked back up at her. "I don't fully mind anymore, though."
