1.

"Hadron Collider halted for months."

sad

2.

'Who Killed Amanda Palmer' is easily, in my opinion, the best album of 2008.

3.

I'm really excited to read The Graveyard Book.
I wish someone wrote stories like this when I was a kid.
All I had was The Chronicles of Narnia and Ronald Dahl.
What was your favorite book as a child?
The Witches was my favorite story.
I was convinced my mother was one of them.

4.

I have an old upright piano now.
I've named him Leonard.
He warms my heart on Grey days.

More cheerful and less poetic than usual >< I kind of like it. I used to read Chronicles, Roald dahl, harry potter, Babysitter's Club, fairy tales, E.B. White books, The Little Princess and The Secret Garden, etc. I loved books >< And yes the witches was and is AWESOME! right up there with the BFG

Yes~! Another Neil Gaiman fan? I love Bod already.

He's coming out with an illustrated Coraline. Remember that book, Kirby?

I loved classic literature when I was younger (I still do) but back then it was Austen, The Little Princess, Victor Hugo. I read Emma at ten. I can remember a time when I believed in happy endings. I remember being disgusted with Hugo. And the Grimm brothers. Pregnant Sleeping Beauty? Come on! I won't go on, the laundry list is very long...

(Robin McKinley, Phillip Pullman, JK Rowling, Dia Calhoun, Dianne Wynne Jones... L Frank Baum. That one's important, although I didn't understand the symbolism as a little girl)

Hawk... You seriously made my head hit the desk.

College is supposed to make you smarter. Do I need to sound that out?

Honestly, after studying for accounting and finite math all day, I think I may have actually just confused myself even more. College is not kind to me right now.
