 The water Palu had been swimming around in the ocean recently, so she welcomed the sun that warmed her back. She would've liked to curl up in the ground, but since that'll just get sand all over her, she resigned herself to laying on top of a rock and sunbathing.
Xi's mind wandered off as she stared at the afternoon sky. The clouds floating by so peacefully entranced her into a dreamy state. She couldn't even hear the seagulls cawing and picking at dried seaweed. With her eyes half-closed, she fell into a small slumber.

 The Gray Fire palu just came out of big nap and wanted to go for a nice long walk. He didn't really know where he wanted to go then it came to him, the beach. He like it there it was nice and warm there and he could dig good hole there. So he was off to the beach. He got there soon after. He began to run all other the place. He saw this huge rock and he want to jump from it. So he try to get on the rock but he silp and fell *bang*Ace began to feel water in his eyes and then he began wine. "UGH! that really hrut.... Why did i silp? what up there?"

Xi squeaked as she felt something land on top of her. And as fast as whatever that was came, it jumped off again and the next thing she heard was a splash.
That woke her up. She shook the remaining sleepyness out of her and searched for the something that just dived into the water.
"Ace!" She was happy at first to have met up with her friend, but seeing that he was in pain, her smile quickly turned into a frown. "Are you ok? I'm assuming that it was you who jumped on top of me!"

Ace got back up and shake his head.That really hurt. He got out of the water and shake off the water. Then he hread someone calling his name. It was Xi he was happy to see her. He look up at her.
"Oh I'm ok thanks for asking. I think it was me ...I didn't know you was up! I'm sorry. Did I hrut or sraced you? If i did i'm sorry.I just saw this huge rock and i wanted to jump from it i new that you was up there i would of never went up there.

Xi found it a bit hard to believe that he really didn't see her. Since she was black and rainbow against the grey colored rock. But since this was Ace that she was talking about, so maybe it was true.
"You did scare me. But anyone would be scared if someone jumped on them!" She laughed a little bit and regained her smile. "I'm fine otherwise. What are you doing here anyway?"

Ace was glad that she was not mad at him for jumping oh her.
"I did! I'm sorry..wait did i say that already? Yeah I would of been so sraced. I'm glad i didn't hurt you. Umm what was i doing here......oh yeah...I really don't know really ...I think it was for me to play around..Yeah that it!
He began to run around her! He was grining from ear to ear! He was jummping for joy.
Would you like to play with me? Playing sounds so wonderful right now! It make me want to did a hole! But i'm not going to dig one right now!

"You're not going to dig a hole?" Xi tried not to sound surprised but she did anyway. She thought that digging holes was all that Ace liked to do. Other than chase his tail or something.
"Well, I was swimming around and climbed on this rock to rest a bit, but I don't like you'll like the water much." She eyed his flames on his ears for a moment before glancing away. "I know! We can look for stuff around the beach! I mean, I found a crab yesterday, and maybe it's still around!"
She was aware that she wasn't making that much sense, but she didn't care at the moment.

Ace was confuse when she ask him about digging
"No no no. That not what I do all the time. I do other thing too.^^
He walk next to her and sat down to hear what she was saying.He really didn't get what she saying but he try to get. Like he do with everyone. He pop up when she saig crab. He love eating those things.
Ohh I love looking for crabs! There soo yummy in my belly. Where did you see it? What other suff can we find here. This is like one of my first times being here.

"I... actually don't eat crabs." Xi said with a sigh. She never figured out how to actually get their shells open without smashing them with rocks. And that seemed a bit too brutal for her.
"There's also shells and bits of driftwood around." She started listing off the things she finds along the beach. "Sometimes there's some glass bottles. I once found one with a piece of paper inside. I couldn't get it open though.
"And I think I hide it somewhere... I don't remember." Xi glanced around, hoping to see something to jog her memory. But she didn't.

"Oh really .....Then we don't have to eat them if you don't want to.^^He nod his head when she listened what she found of this beach.He couldn't beleve that there where soo much thing that you could find here.He was in so much sock that she found all this too
"What a botttle? I never seen one of thoses before.What do they do?He began to jump about when he was talking about it."Hey we sould go find it!! Then i could open it for you!^^ So you could see what was in the bottle.!!
"What way What way! I can't wait to go find it.He started to move back and forth. He was just to happy about finding this bottle. He also didn't want to saced her that he was actting so crazy but he couldn't help it.

Xi couldn't help but giggle at his display of excitement. She hadn't even recalled where she hid the thing yet.
"A bottle is... something shaped like a log, but it's smaller at the end and you can see through it. They also come in colors, like green and brown. I think humans use it for storing stuff."
It was hard to describe something that she didn't understand that well herself. She had seen her human with one time to time but never had she placed some paper in them.
"Ooh! I remember! I buried it under a palm tree that had coconuts! Or were they bananas? Something that had fruit."
That narrowed the locations down a bit. Even though there were a lot of trees with coconuts or bananas.

"Wow a log lookin thing. I see logs all over the place but i never seen one that you can see through! It must be soo cool!He began to run around her! Looking back and fore.
"You buried it! Sweet! That make it ten times better. Now I can digs hole to find it! Coconuts or bananas tree...ummmm..let go find it! He wave to her to come with him." Xi just show me the way to the tree. This going to be soo much fun.^^

"There are a lot trees though... And they all look alike." Xi had a bit of an idea where the bottle was hidden. But she was that sure.
Still, Ace's enthusiasm rubbed off on her and she scampered all over the place, kicking up some sand with every step. She even smiled a bit before seeing a tree off in the distance.
"That looks familiar." The water Palu wandered over to it and examined it for a minute or so. After circling around the trunk once or twice, she started digging. "I buried it pretty deep so the water won't wash it away and everything."

He watch Xi run all over the place to fine the tree. He never seen her run that fast. Then he saw her smile and he new that she must of fond the tree that they were look for.
Then he saw her do something that he thougth she would do."Wow she diging" he said to himself.
He smiled when he said that. Then he move rigth next to her. He smile at her and began to dig with her." That ok, we will just have to dig together."^^

"Thanks. Cause I'm a pretty slow digger. Not like you anyway." The words slipped out without her meaning to. But she didn't care. Both of them digging together was pretty fun.
In a few moments, Xi's paw felt the smooth surface of glass and cheered. "Got it!" She pulled it out with some effort and examined it in the sunlight. Even when being buried for a while, the bottle looked as shiny as it was when she found it.
"How do we open it now? You want to smash it against something?" She shrugged. She really didn't want to because glass shards might fly everywhere and hurt someone, but did they have a choice?
