Q u e s t i o n s .. a n d .. A n s w e r s
- Is there a limit as to how many customs I can get per month?
- No, however, take others into consideration. Let someone else have a chance if you've been hoarding all of the slots.
Do you accept payment plans?
- Yes, we do, but it is also determined by each colorist. Some allow them while others do not, so be sure to read their rules in their dens.
What about items? Can I pay with them?
- Again, this depends mostly on the colorist, but for the most part, they accept items.
Can I co-own a custom?
- Of course! But it depends on the person paying for the custom/allowing you to co-own. Do not pester someone about co-owning their custom either!
How long does it take for a colorist to finish my custom?
- Depending on they time they have on the computer, some customs will be done within hours while other might take weeks. If you feel that's it has been way too long since you first ordered your custom, ask them about it in their journal or PM a manager.
Are there refunds?
- No, you will not be refunded unless the colorist isn't able to finish your custom. If there is something wrong with your custom, politely ask the colorist to make a few tweaks. If you're rude or ungrateful about it, your chances for it getting fixed may be slim. We understand that you paid for it, but the colorists here try their best and they cannot always get things perfect.
Oh no! I forgot to add something to my form! Can I edit it?
- Yes, you may edit your form ONLY if you notify the colorist that you did so. Colorists are not responsible for anything you change without telling them.
Can I use official Pride Lands lineart to make references for my custom?
- Yes! References on Pride Lands lineart is very welcome here in the shop. However, you may only use that lines you color as a reference, not for other purposes inside and outside of the shop!
Are we allowed to role play a custom that is currently in the works?
- If you've just recently (meaning within days) ordered this custom, than the answer is no. You must until the colorist has finished your custom before role playing. However, if you have been waiting over two months for your custom and your colorist still hasn't completed it because of certain/personal reasons, only then may you role play your in-the-works custom. Pride Lands encouraged role playing and for you to have to sit and wait it out any longer than that wouldn't be fair.
C o s p l a y .. Q u e s t i o n s
- Would my made-up role playing character be considered a cosplay?
- Of course not! Any character that you create from your own mind is yours. You will not be charged a cosplay price for your own characters.
Can I get a cosplay even if it's being colored for an upcoming event?
- If there has been talk about an event in the works, than the answer is most likely no. Certain characters are needed for certain events, so if the cosplay has already been made, then he/she will be used for that event.
Can I get a custom lion colored kinda like a cosplay and role play it as a cosplay?
- No, you may not role play any lions like a cosplay, it's against the rules.
What about male and female cosplays? For example, there is a Naruto lion colored as a male, but not a female. Does this mean I can get the female version?
- This is entirely up the owner of that male cosplay. They have the final say in whether or not you can get a female version of their character. Some people are very picky and clingy to their cosplays, so please respect that. If they so no, it means no! Don't even bother going to a colorist or manager because our answer will be the same as theirs.
The owner said I could get a female Naruto! Will she look any different from the male version?
- Yes, if an owner grants you permission to get the opposite gender of their cosplay, he/she must look different. This means possibly another outfit from the character, different hair style, etc. Colors and personality can stay the same, but other various things must look different to give both owners an individual pet.
I was questing for a cosplay, it was in my signature and everything, but someone got him/her before me!! What the hell!?
- I understand why you are upset, but unfortunately, questing for a cosplay, especially if it's popular, doesn't mean you reserve that character. Maybe you can work things out with the new owner and let him/her know how you feel? Be sure not to bring any drama into the main thread, however!
