It seemed like any other day in the reserve. Except there was a new otter wandering around, one that was unlike any other, regular....or demonic. He was a demon alright, but the only difference between him and any other demonic otters were the pair of blue wings on his back. He could fly, but not for very long or for very far. But he was an elder, so he held no fear of anything, not any other demonics or predators.
He sat himself in front of the rushing part of the river, his glowing eyes watching the running water with slight interest.

Nyx had been stalking through the bushes by the river. Hearing splashing she crouched down and inched her out from the bushes her pink wings folded close to her back. Seeing a fish jump in the river she pounced into the air and spread her wings and glided to the water and snatched the fish with her claws. She then landed on the shore and went at the fish with her claws and teeth.

He had laid himself down on the shore, closing his eyes and deciding to take a quick nap when he heard the splashing and then the snapping of jaws around flesh. He lifted his head up and looked around. Spotting something in the distance, he stood up and made his way over, curiousity overcoming him.

Nyx had finished her fish by the time she was in view to Samael and she had discarded the remainder of the fish and went about grooming her paws and face. Making a satisfied almost purr like sound her tail swished behind her, no longer hungry.

He finally got close enough to see exactly who it was. The first thing he noticed was that it was a female, was a demon and also an elder. What surprised him was the pair of leathery wings on her back, just like the ones he had. And for some reason...she seemed incredibly familiar to him. He sat down a few feet from her, not making a sound yet, just watching her and listening to her purr.

When Nyx was finally satisfied with how she looked she looked up and quirked her head to the side spotting the male that had moved and sat himself near her. "Good day..." she said her voice rich with an almost sultry ring to it. She looked him over and though they hadn't met before there was familiar sense about him. "Have we met before?" She asked after a moment of studying him.

"Hmmm...I am not quite sure, I would recall meeting a beauty such as yourself." he purred in a deep tone, standing up and stepping closer to her to get a better look. His sharply finned tail waved about in the air as he circled her.

She couldn't help but laugh slightly, "is that so..." she purred back, watching him as he circled her. Her wings stretching slightly behind her as she moved her head watching him analyze her, taking her own analysis of him as well. "Perhaps your right, because I'm certain I would recall you as well."

He finally stopped and sat in front of her, finding her quite lovely and planned to try to be in her presence more in the future, "Have you lived here long in the reserve? Or have you lived here your whole life?" he asked, quite curious to see who was placed here and who was born here.

Quirking her head again she thought for a moment, "no I haven't been here long... I arrived only just recently." She replied and then thought a moment before adding, "Maybe a month now. What about yourself?" She then asked now curious a bit herself, as she asked this she stood up and circled him much like he had just finished with her.

"A little less then a month now. I find this place....interesting to say the least. So many different manners of otters and predators." he said, watching her circle him this time, smirking lightly.

"Mmm... so I've seen though I have yet to meet any others beside yourself..." she replied setting herself back down in front of him. He definately wasn't bad on the eyes she decided and wouldn't mind seeing him around more often. "Might I ask your name?"

He started grooming part of his paw, kind of how a feline would, looking to her when she asked his name, "I go by many names, but I prefer Samael." he said, going back to grooming his paw.

"Sammy boy it is..." she said in a sing song way teasing, as she watched him groom his paw.

He raised an eyebrow when she called him that, finding it quite amusing and knowing if it was anyone else, he would have tried to spear them with his horns. "And might I aks what your name is...?" he asked.
