I was playing with a family friend of mine and we were battling pokemon the other day right? Well I asked him when he first started playing and his reply was when Sapphire came out.
That got me wondering... who here are what I'm calling Origin Trainers? Who's been playing since the day Pokemon came to America and played the original Red and Blue versions?
Don't let me be the only one now, I'll feel incredibly old. razz

um i got it when sapphire came out when I was little and didnt know how to train pokemon properly. Lol
EDIT: I remember my first team as a pokemon trainer. *has a flashback* brings back so many memories.
This all I can remember from my teams I have had:
Sapphire-when it first came out.
Swampert
Pelipper
Linoone
Wobbofet
Roselia
I cant remember the last one sweatdrop
This was when I first got it.
I started over on my other games to much so I cant remember.
Pearl:
Infernape---Still have today-Had since arpil 26
Luxray---Still have today-Had since arpil 26
Gengar---Still have today-had since april 28
Palkia---Still have today-IDK?
EDIT: I forgot Floatzel for my pearl game!
I dont remember the rest I had throughout the game.
Diamond: Note I remember all the pokemon I had throughout the game.
Empoleon
Rapidash
Blissey
Roserade
Toxicroak
Staraptor
Lopunny Note: I stopped training it as a Buneary at lv 29 but began training after pokemon league and evolved.
Note: This team above has been with me for about a year and a couple days.
Yet again Note: I got diamond and pearl the day it came out but I started over on both but only continued diamond. Day started adventure sept 14. Hehehe

In regards of Dimension's post: I've somehow always knew how to raise Pokemon. I guess it's just the way I play, but I never let a pokemon or trainer go undefeated (or in the case of pokemon, uncaught). Maybe that's why I usually go undefeated. Only one person as ever beaten me and she unfortunately isn't a member of this guild. Wonder if I can find her and recruit her.

I'm undefeated in the games, not with other people. Though, I did go on a 10-win winning streak when I first got Diamond. It died when I left Neopets. XD

I just started with pearl and thought it was awesome, so i carried myself over to walmart.com and bought sapphire OwO
Now my freind has platnuim (i hate her for that!) and i will soon get it =D

I have been playing since Green and let me tell you that is old.
I have played every single game and yet I have yet to hunt down Platinum but soon I shall have it and the six Rotons. *insert evil laugh* okay then I shall go now but I will return again I think.

I've been playing ever since red blue and yellow came out and have collected all the games hence forth. Though sadly both my silver and gold have corrupted.
