Rules:


1) Be a frequent poster. We want this to be an active RP. People who don't post can really bring the place down. However, I am aware that people have schedules and have times that they can not post. I'm okay with that, we all have a life away from gaia, just try to inform us if you won't be able to post for a while.

2) Keep things PG13.

3) No powergaming or godmoding. Take a hit every once in a while.

4) This is a paragraph RP. Try and keep posts 3 or 4 sentences in length. I'm understanding if you have writers block though, or other people don't give you much to work with.

5) You are allowed to start as either a new trainer or an old one. However, everyone must start Johto with a pokemon at its first stage. But, the pokemon you start with MUST be at its first stage when you start your Johto journey. I would prefer if your starter pokemon were either a johto starter, or an egg pokemon (ex: pichu, igglybuff, elekid, happiny). If you would like to start with a different pokemon, feel free to ask and I will either approve or disapprove.

6) No capturing legendary pokemon. They are legendary, that should explain it all. I would much rather utilized their legends for the story line than have a trainer raise it.

7) You can start from any city from any country, not everyone has to start at New Bark Town. However, everyone must be traveling throughout the Johto region.

8] When in Johto, you may only catch Johto pokemon, unless another trainer releases that pokemon and you catch it, or it hatches from an egg or something. If you're not sure if I will allow you to catch a certain pokemon, just ask.

9) The amount of attacks a pokemon can learn is limited at 9. Please read further to know more about these attack limits.

10) As you progress in the story, your pokemon are allowed to learn their egg moves at a specific level, however, I wouldn't like a zubat learning brave bird at level 15. Feel free to ask me when you can learn a specific attack. Overall, I'm pretty flexible, I just don't want godly pokemon at low levels.

11) You may be a member of Team Rocket. However, I would like it if you didn't hold any high positions in Team Rocket. Also, if you are a Team Rocket member, I would like it if you still traveled Johto and had some sort of quest you were fulfilling along the way. If you are planning on joining Team Rocket, just PM me and I will tell you a little bit about their plans.

12) Please do not speak in 1st person. It just sounds awkward when roleplaying.

13) If you are interested in catching shiny pokemon, you must use the random number action to pick a number between 1 and 100. If the number you get is 90 or above, the pokemon is shiny.

14) If you plan on entering contests, please read the contest post to see how they work.

15) No superpowers. I really don't want psychics who can use their powers at an advantage during battle, its not fair to the other roleplayers.

**Please note that all TMs and HMs which were not listed here may be found on any other route, or bought from the department store. Just don't find TM Giga Impact on Route 29.
**HMs cannot be deleted once a pokemon has learned them, unless you go to the move deleter. However, you don't have to teach an HM to a pokemon to use it. For example, your Feraligatr doesn't need to learn waterfall in order to use the HM.

Trainer Bio: Jake grew up in New Bark Town with his mother, and his pet, Eevee. Upon turning 10, Jake's mom gave him money to begin a pokemon journey of his own. However, Jake wanted to wait some time before going on a journey, to build more experience and preperation. So Jake spent the next four years at home, training with his Eevee. At age 14, Jake began his pokemon adventure.
