Well, I'm a junoir in high school, and even though I've gone to the same high school my entire high school career, I've never gone to one of our homecoming danses (dances). So this year I really considered going because, well, I've never gone. I was then considering not going because I'm.. not OCD, although sometimes I feel like it.. and wanted to clean my room (clean out actually), but then my boyfriend invited me.
So Friday night, directly after our school's football game ( Stupid Timing, yes? /: ) was the danse. I arrived, and when we got in, absolutely no one was dansing yet. It fairly annoyed me, so the first few minutes were really just bland. I thought it might be because our homecoming danses have always been considered 'boring'. Though, pffft. Damnz in a room? It's not going to stay boring long.
After a couple minutes a lot of my friends hadn't shown up, but some people had begun dansing. All of the music played was basically rap ( /: ), and during the whole night only three rock songs were played, one was a slow song, one.. was I don't even remember, and the other was "Boys of the Summer" by The Ataris, not a lot of really good music. But I made the most of it.
Damnz was a part of the mosh to Boys of the Summer. Which was fairly humorous, because Damnz was also the only female that stayed moshing for the the entire mosh. What made this even more humorous was the fact that Damnz is a 5'4 girl moshing with two guys that finished basic training and were both 6'0, then there was also a guy named Rippeon who was a Raider in ROTC, and the rest of the guys were just taller and heavier then Damnz. I actually got the breath knocked out of me twice, xD, but I didn't stop when that happened.
After the mosh ended quite prematurely, we headbanged. Girls are apparently not afraid to headbang, more so then they are moshing, I of course, am an idiot and when berserk headbanging~ <3
Damnz headbanging = Damnz jumped up, doing the splits, headbanging in that position, jumping up, still head banging and then doing the standing more natural way, before dropping to her knees to basically look.. probably too sexual then needed. Damnnz also dansed to some rap songs later, and earlier, such as the old as hell song "Get Low" and When he said 'Get Low', Damnz got low, splits, backbend, walking backbend, three different types of splits, everything.
So after that, we practiced the "Whitest Danses" we knew, We jump dansed (When you jump up and down~ lol), and a few other things. It was actually a lot of fun. ^^ The danse began at 10PM and ended at 12PM, which, was late, but I wasn't even tired until 3AM. But ever since then my sleeping schedules been ********, lol.

Thebest thing about the danse was that I got to go last minute shopping for a cute top to wear, since the day before the danse I found a dress I'd liked, but my bust is .. D40.. I wear A large shirt size, but have a fairly small waist (9), so, it's hard to find things that are decent, So, after searching the PX and JC Penny's for any cute dresses on Thursday, Friday beforethe danse we went to Damnz's favorite place~ (lol hot topic) and spent 160$ on her. ^^
