The grass bent and surrounded her hoof at each step she took. Quite funny how grass was so easy to bend. Baisoon found herself in an unknown area once again, still rather new to the lands, the filly looked up and saw nothing but leaves. These plants beside her were huge and much bigger than the rounded ones grown closer to the earth's surface. Her eyes sparkled as she watched a bird feed some wiggling thing to small beaks in the nest. She turned away, a bit disgusted and looked down to see tiny grey rocks, she stopped and bent down to sniff them, nothing special. Straightening herself, Baisoon continued her walk and cranked her head nonstop from side to side, letting every object make sink into her tiny little head. Legs still wobbly from only recently kicking out of her basket. She was glad to be free.

Every sound made by the wind, or another creature, made her ears perk up and listen intently. Noise, she wished she could neigh like her sisters, and talk like them. The sounds that came from her were made either by sneezing or yawning, and snorting. Certain body parts, like her hooves, can make sounds if she knocked them on something, the brown that seem to cover the huge plants made a low sound. Her heart pounding in her, that made noise too. But only when everything was so silent, so she guessed no one else would hear that. Baisoon has seen other creatures too, she wasnt sure what they were but they only had a patch of coat on their heads, sometimes grown very long that it looked like a tail. A few spotted her before and tried talking to her, but onyl caused her to bolt away. They also spoke in a language she didnt quite understand, but they were kind of ugly in her opinion.

Baisoon repeated the first thing she heard when she crawled out of whatever held her, and into the brightness. A feminine voice kept calling 'Baisoon Yen, Baisoon Yen'. Baisoon guessed that was her name. Once she could see things with her eyes, she saw, what she assumed to be her mother, calling that and looking at her. Baisoon liked it anyways, so if it wasnt her name...well it was now.

User Image Fenghuang had been in trouble quite a few times. He had done a lot of 'naughty' things that had send at least his father or one of his brothers into a rant of anger. However, these angry words were often over in minutes and the air was cleared afterwards. Unfortunately for Fenghuang the anger radiating from his Eldest brother was not as easily spurned this time. To say the colt had done a bad thing was an understatement - he had vanished for three days without a trace or word to any of the herd. As a result his mother was in bits and his brother and father had searched tirelessly for days. It wouldn't have been so bad for him if he had remained in herd lands but instead the foal had been determined to explore the lakes - as a consequence he had ended up far from home.

Admittedly his eldest brother was containing himself surprisingly well. There had been no lectures along the way and instead, Ambroise had simply ordered him to turn left, right or keep walking. Evidently the eldest brother of Islagiatt was aware of his own temper and had chosen to keep his mouth shut even around family. Unfortunately this didn't make anything better for the tiny colt who had remained crestfallen throughout the trekk home - he really didn't have as much energy on the way back as he'd had on the way down.

Nevertheless his crestfallen state was soon to be lifted from his shoulders as he caught sight of the flicker of brown in the distance. He pricked his ears curiously at this, watching the dangling limbs closely before releasing a whicker of delight. He knew what that shape was, it was another soquili like him! Wagging his tail appreciatively he quickly bounced away from his brother and launched himself through the air towards his unfortunate 'victim'. However, given that the tiny colt lacked wings his 'flying' looked more like a creature who had been shot out of a cannon and there would be no graceful landings.

With a whoop of joy he landed head first in a bush - a delay and within moments he had pushed his head back out into few, though the rest of his body remained obscured within the foliage. Behind him, his brother could be heard sighing in exasperation.

"Hey there!" he announced enthusiastically, his smile towards the filly looking oddly out of place against his bush covered form.

A fireball shot right close to her and landed into a bush. Baisoon pulled her head back and opened her mouth in surprise to only let out nothing. Her heart started skipping beats when he appeared, or was it just going really fast she couldnt even hear some of them. Either ways it was an irregular beat to her ears. Baisoon tried to keep her balance on her hooves by letting her head dip foward, but only to find her self land on her face and soon her body weight pushed after her causing her head to brush harshly against the earth's surface. After her whole body had a stable position on the dirt, she could feel a bit of pain on her face, but couldnt see what harm was made. Baisoon was so dark that you couldnt see redness in her face onless she was starting to bleed, she doubted that but her face somehow did sting and her unfortunate notril shoved into dirt and tiny rocks really hurt. Baisoon was sure she was fine, wobbly and slowly getting back up to her stance. She finally pulled her head up and straightened herself. Eyes looking a bit wet from tears that showed a bit of pain. Her vision, which held two frames at the moment, slowly combined back into one. She could see it's little butt, this wasnt exactly pleasant either, she took a few step back and looked more closely to see a foal with a head into the bush. The pains that she felt had faded off as she was distracted by this 'fireball'. Very red foal indeed. He didn't hold much but red, a very dark at the same time somehow vibrant red. This was most likely the one who flew at her, and from a blurr, she thought it was fire. An element she learnt when she felt cold, a female voice saying 'Pretty huh? Its fire' while she was staring at the flickering flame.

Her unwelcomed company found its strength to pull free, or maybe it didnt take much at all. She was now in focus to this one and adknowleged. Still foreign to the language, her ears perked up from after flattened on her head because of the 'wonderful' surprise. Ears flicked and tried to understand, she's heard the words 'hello' and 'hi'. Those were greetings. This 'hey'...was it a compliment? A threat? Something that meant totally different, his smile gave a rather warm feeling, a feeling in her that approved of him to talk with. In this case, be around with. She still didnt know if she could trust him perfectly, but what secrets can she tell, even if she did, it would require a tremendous amount of effort to act out what she was trying to tell. Like hell with that. Her eyes scanned the colt, still looking pretty red. A few, what looked to the eyes, swirls on his rump. She kept her mouth closed, not greeting him back with a smile or anything else that could hint she was friendly. Somehow this colt reminded her of her mother, something her mother would have done as a child to approach another. Baisoon continued to scan the colt, after finishing she just brought her gaze right back up to his face, looking into his eyes. So dark the dot in their was, she wondered what colors her was. She can't see her eyeball because....well she'd have to somehow get her eyeball to see her eyeball and to do that she might have to pull one out and physically moved it in front of the other to view it. That sounded unpleasant and messy. Tail flicking after a while, this wasnt a sign of friendliness just something she liked to do. As well another sign that meant she had nothing to say.

Fenghuang had never been deterred by the anti-social, one of his first friends had barely spoken a word to him until Feng had rolled down a hill with a whoop of delight. He was most definitely his mother's son and as such, was set to be a social butterfly from birth. That being said, the tiny colt was still unfamiliar with certain things in life. Negative emotions weren't something he firmly grasped unless it was instinctual and alerted him to danger - nor was he terribly familiar with body language. As he matured this would develop and he would become more aware of such things but for the time being he remained ignorant of the details. There was something to be said for such naivity and innocence though - so long as he remained undeterred he often stood a greater chance of breaking the ice or reassuring someone that he meant no harm and this afternoon was of no exception.

Having discovered his 'second wind' and therefore a sudden burst of energy, the little colt could do nothing more than wiggle his tail appreciatively as he remained sat inside the bush. He remained this way for quite some time, waiting expectantly for the filly to respond and yet she didn't. That in mind his head cocked curiously, perhaps she was like Espiridion and as a result she was really shy? Giving his head a shake he at last clambered out of the bushes and shuddered. The irridescent swirls gave a shimmer as he shook the leaves from his coat. Another pause as he stretched and tested each limb before he nodded, satisfied with the fact that he was perfectly healthy.

"Well if you don't want to say hello that's okay too," he offered and merrily trotted towards her. It was clear he had been around for quite sometime and never having lived in the confines of a basket, his legs had been used from the instant he had been born. It was complex, but given that there were so few humans where he came from - no foal on the peaks of Islagiatt land slept in a basket. Not that he minded, it just meant he got to see the world before anyone else did!

Unfortunately given his age he hadn't quite grasped the concept of personal space either and as such, gave a soft whicker and circled the filly before nudging gently at her neck. Skipping away again, he gave another shake of his coat and returned his gaze to the filly. She was so quite, definitely like Espiridon!

"I'm Fenghuang, but you can call me Feng if you like," he continued at last and gave a nod to Ambroise who remained silent nearby. "And that's my Anuie, Ambroise...he's real grumpy but he's the best big brother ever - you know?" He took a breath and wagged his tail appreciatively at the chance for more company. It was a shame that as a newborn she wasn't entirely aware of what he was saying. "Did you go on an adventure alone too? Cause I wouldn't say it's a great idea..."

He leant in to whisper at this point.

"Anuie got really mad at me," he shook his head and sighed. "I didn't even get to see a Kelpi and he's already taking me home!"

Baisoon watched him silently, he spoke again and she continued to keep her mouth shut. Unsure what this colt wanted with her. Baisoon hasnt yet met any other Soquilis her age, besides her sisters. They both were either at home or found some place to go exploring to. Her eyes followed him willingly as he pranced around her, then lightly pushed on her neck. Pulling away she took a few steps back and looked him over again. Then her eyes fell back on his rather cheerful expression. The colt had given his name, something she could not return. Her name was hidden deep inside her, and she could not write it out nor say it. This colt will just have to make up an appropiate nick name for her. Baisoon jumped as she turned to see what the other one was talking about, not too far she could spot a stallion with wings. Standing tall and looking quite...manly. She blinked and wondered if anyone else was around she did not catch with her eye. Her eyes fell back onto the almost hidden one, wings and a stallion, two things she hasnt yet seen together. Rather unique and inspired her little heart. Birds who flew across the sky every morning looked magical. If only she could do such a thing. It wasnt possible seeing she did not have a pair on her back. Baisoon heard the word 'brother'. This was Feng's brother? How could that be when he was wingless and he was not. Then he had a rather red coat, while the stallion standing silently had a darkish orange that slowly faded into yellow coat. Then, perhaps Feng was adopted then. Brought into the family after his family related by blood left him? Was that the case?

Her eyes shot back inbetween the two and continued to as she tried to figure out the case. After many thoughts and ideas, Baisoon felt dizzy with her eyes. Everything started to look rather blurry. Her vision soon cleared and she got hold of her sight again. Baisoon bowed, said nothing course. She bowed to both Feng and the stallion. Feng had said Anuie and Ambroise, which was his name? Were they both his name? Were they names at all? Baisoon shot a quick glance at the winged one then brought her gaze onto the colt who was leaning rather too close to her. Baisoon pulled back hearing a small bit of his sentence. Something like Anuie was mad and he didnt get to see something. Baisoon looked back to the stallion, looked rather calm from her view. Her tail stopped flicking from side to side, and she just looked down, feeling a little funny in her stomache. Empty feeling. No pain but a bit uncomfortable and unsatisfied. After staring under herself, the underside of her let out a low rumble. Baisoon's head brought straight up with widened eyes. Not sure if she heard correctly. Was that from her? Why would her body make such a noise, a noise she did not ask her body to make. She never recalled making an order in her brain to telling her stomache to rumble. Baisoon felt a bit frightened from it, was something in her that wanted out? Her eyes filled with worry as she looked at Feng for an answer perhaps?

When Ambroise came closer it would be apparent how they were siblings, while their coats were of a differing colour the fading and interchanging colour from oranges to reds was too similar to be an accident. Alas, given her young age and naivity in relation to such complex details it would probably be years before she fully understood how once got wings. The logic was simple, a Wind Soquili and a normal Soquili fell in love and had children but to explain this to one such as herself would require mind reading skills - a skill that neither of the brothers possessed. Unfortunate as it might have been, she would have to remain in the dark for the time being.

Nevertheless as she refrained from offering her name Feng tilted his head to the side inquisitively and then giggled. "Well, it's okay if you don't want to tell me," he offered with an emphatic nod. "I have this friend and he never tells anyone his name, he doesn't even call them by their names!" he confessed softly and shook his head, eyes wide as though he found the entire concept to be bizzare. "Instead he calls them 'Soul Friends', I don't know why... He does call me by name though, cause I'm his best friend in the whole wide world!" he announced after a few moments, wagging his tail from side to side.

"Soul Friend Feng," he cooed, "Now try saying that super fast!" he had always found the tongue twister of a name to be entertaining to toy with. He wasn't aware that she was mute, but that had never stopped him talking to someone. They could have a perfectly working voice and the colt still wouldn't shut up, he was a chatterbox and he was comfortable with this title. "So how about I call you Soul Friend, too?" he enquired after a few moments.

Alas, there was only one way Feng would find out Baisoon's name if he really, truly wanted to. As an adult he would probably mull over such things in more detail when he realised she was mute but to subject one of his herd to such an arduous task... Ah yes, there was a slight possibility that if the Seer of his herd looked directly at the filly with his own eyes then he would stand a chance of 'hearing' her name through a premonition. However, Cyn Generis positively loathed looking at someone in such a manner - he had never explained why...he simply didn't like it.

Thus, Soul Friend was appropriate.

However, as he heard her tummy growl he did widen his eyes and release a soft gasp. He knew that sound! His tail wagged again appreciatively and he turned his attention to his brother who had remained quiet. Trotting towards him, he unceremoniously grapped hold of the stallion's wing and tugged on it lightly. It was a rather pointless action given that Ambroise was already paying attention to him but old habits died hard.

"Anuie, we're hungry!" he announced, motioning to Baisoon and then hopping from hoof to hoof. "Can we have some dinner?"

"You just ate," Ambroise replied gruffily, though aware of the filly's hunger he did submit to such a request and brushed passed the foal to push through the foliage. There were various 'groves' and grass patches that existed in the forests. They weren't as sporadic as one might have assumed either and thus, within a few moments the stallion had come to a halt once more. He was only a few footsteps from the pair and already, he was gazing down at the grass patch, the blades sunkissed and tenderly cared for through the gap in the canopy.

"Dinnnnnner!" Feng announced as he scuttled towards Baisoon and gave her a nudge, "You're hungry right?" he motioned towards his brother and grinned. "Anuie found as food, want some?"

She let him assume the fact she didnt want to tell him her name. Not that she didnt want anyone to know about being voiceless, but rather she just met him, even if she had a voice, she would prefer to keep her name to herself until further notice. Her eyes kept flicking back from him to the stallion who stood there solemnly. The colt was rather chatty, or as it already seems and the other one was stiff looking. Could they honestly be related? Then again, she was the one with no sound while her sisters had lively voices installed within them. A trait like that could easily seperate Baisoon from her sisters. Her eyes finally made a stop on the colt, once again. This friend sounded similiar to herself, at the same time they werent since this friend chooses not to talk, rather than pernament voiceless. Feng suggested to repeat his name over and over, she had kept her mouth closed. There was no point to even trying to make an effort as she knew no one would hear but only see how hard she was trying. This broke the little filly, it was rather tough as this age to not be able to talk. She felt left out in the chatting. Yet to learn that sometimes actions are stronger than words. Her eyes filled with sadness as she looked down and Feng trotted off to his 'brother'. Hung-gree? What did that mean? Was that a monster that lived within her which made that strange noise? Dipping her head, she looked on the underside again and waited for another call. Nothing came, perhaps the monster was sleeping then? She straightened herself and tried to keep her head held high, and a very good posture, wishing she doesnt look like a fool. Humiliation, something nobody can stand. Specially Baisoon, her reputation to her was important. Eyes starring at the two, she waited with ears held high, wondering what they meant with every word she did not understand. It was like lisening to the ugly creatures sometimes. She did not like them strange ones, who lived in ratherpointy tents, she lives in one herself. However, Baisoon prefers to wander about, so the pointy tent was really nothing in her life.

A rather sadness helf within her now. Family was nowhere around and neither did they care. Was she truly unwanted then? Just like how Feng was adopted after his blood parents left him. Left him alone with a winged soquili family. Or perhaps they left him all alone, and was found by these kinder crew. Baisoon frowned as she thought about the choices, ears twitching, and tail resumed swinging back and forth. Heart beating silently, she can hear it and feel the pulse at her chest. The body she was in, she had control over all the parts. Except for her mane, she could flick her tail side to side, why couldnt she move the hair on her head which happen to run down her neck. It was strange, how this world worked. How everything didnt seem out of place but if the plants above her were blue and the big blue above that was green, then things would be out of order. Her vision fell away from the siblings, and onto a bush with red dots. Baisoon, attracted by the two opposite colors, she gently and smoothly walked over. Her walk slightly improving with each step she took. The red balls seem to shine, very glossy look to them. The plant, rounded with not a twig or branch in sight, unlike the bigger plants which loomed over her. Somehow, red and vibrant balls made her feeling rather hungry. Were these edible? She dare not to try, seeing it could be something bad, or worse, something alive.

Fenghuang would have found it highly entertaining to know that Baisoon thought he was adopted. It would have been incredibly inaccurate given his family background but very amusing to him anyway. He had always been the laid back sort, had taken everything in his stride since birth and as such he wasn't ever really insulted. This wasn't to say this behaviour would continue in to adulthood but for the time being that childhood innocence and naivity was good for something - he may have misunderstandings but he didn't take them poorly when they happened.

Nevertheless this didn't mean he was oblivious to all emotions and after his brother had located food he moved back towards Baisoon to nudge at her gently. He had seen those sad eyes, that discomfort...and while he didn't know why she was so sad he wouldn't let it remain. Really if she didn't want to talk he was fine with it, this particular colt could talk for the world (and then some) so she wouldn't be at a loss. Alas she may not be able to ask him questions but he could sort of understand her if he stood still for long enough - it was like a game of charades!

Alas slowly but surely she moved away from him and it was with pricked ears that he watched her. Apparently not interested in sweetgrasses she had been drawn towards the berries and Fenghuang did have to admit they looked nice. Admittedly he thought they were a tad small but he could understand her interest in a plant with such vibrant colours. Thus his inquisitive gaze turned towards his brother who once again appeared to have drifted in to some sort of reverie - he'd always been told to be careful what he put in his mouth on the slopes given that some things could hurt him.

"Can we eat these?" he enquired and pointed his forehoof at the bush, a quick glance and a nod confirmed as much and with a small squeal of appreciation he scuttled forward to nudge at the bush. Ah but it was at this point that he remembered one of his other brothers' lessons and quickly turned round. The light and wistful smile on his lips, he nodded to Baisoon and wagged his tail from side to side enthusiastically.

"You can go first! I know you're hungry, right?"

When Feng asked if the plants redness could be eaten, she turned back with a hopeful look. They looks amazingly...attractive. Looked plump so she was sure it wouldnt be all bad if she ate one, but she did not want to put her life at jeopardy. Once again with the hungry word. Baisoon let it slide this tiem without much thought. Her eyes and gaze were on the berries, and as Feng offered her to go eat first, she smiled at him and turned back to the berries. Another growl came, Baisoon only gave her noisy tummy a seconds thought before stretching foward and reaching for a berry. She held it in between her teeth at first, trying to look down at it. Her tongue could feel it but she could not see it. It was smooth, not bumps....except for one which wasnt too big compared to the red ball. Letting it slide onto her tongue, she let it roll around, Then she pushed it, with the muscle in her mouth, into the back teeth. Slowly she bit down and a burst of sweetening juice filled herself. Smiling she, she chewed the'meat' of the red ball, and let it slide down her throat. It was yummy indeed! Baisoon waited for a second, to see if she would start growing another head, but nothing happend. These were safe she assumed, hoping the side effects wont happen at night or something. Just as she was about to snatch another one, she remebered the kindness the colt had. He offered her the first one, now she should let him try one. She pulled back and turned to him, nosed towards the round plant which sat quietly.

Her eyes turned back onto the bush, she tilted her head and wondered if the green things were edible too. Looking left and right, she wanted to try one, were they as juicy and sweet like the red balls? Forgetting to let Feng take a snatch, she reached foward and grabbed a rather thin green almond shape like thing. Let that slide into her mouth and started chewing, it wasnt as tasteful, and Baisoon stopped chewing after tasting a rather...bitter tatse to it. Facing the opposite side from her company, she let the chewed green thing fall out, and she stuck out her tough to see if any of it was still left on. Her mouth smelt and tasted horrible when she closed it. Baisoon stood there looking at the thing green things. Grass was the same color, but grass had a sweet and if the grass was fresh, it actually tasted good. These tasted nothing like it, similiar in a very small way. Thirsting to rid of the lasting bitterness in her mouth, and for another ball, she reached foward again and made sure she snatched the red and not green. The same results happened just like the first time she ate the berry. Juicy, sweet, and very yummy!

Fenghuang had manners to a point but manners and 'dining' didn't really fall in to the same category for this particular colt. Thus as she dealt with her own hunger, he too leant down and unceremoniously catered to his hunger. Chomping his mouth down on a branch, he adjusted his grip and then pulled upwards. The little bush shook in surprise, attempting to keep hold of one of its many 'arms' and then it seemed to relent. As the bush relaxed, Feng's head flew backwards and took with it the leaves and the berries from the branch - in essence he had stripped it. Despite the abruptness and obvious 'brutality' against the tree the colt was more than content to chew on his food, savouring the manner in which both berry and leave merged together to create a 'unique' taste.

To be honest the colt wasn't a very fussy eater at all. Given the nature of his home, one didn't have a great deal of choice when it came to food. Certain seasons ensured food sources were bountiful but as winter approached they were less so. Eventually Fenghuang would have to follow his brother's example and chew on bark for nutrients and food. He hadn't yet mastered the art of digging but further instruction would ensure he was more than adept by the time he required such a skill. Alas, once he had swallowed (loudly) he flashed another of his grins and wagged his tail from side to side.

By the look of things the filly seemed to prefer the 'sweeter' foods, a sweet tooth if there ever was one. He hoped that she would have the opportunity to enjoy the apples as they were harvested, she would certainly like those if she enjoyed berries.

"Nice, right?" he enquired curiously.

Baisoon was chewing on another berry as she gazed at Feng. He had noisily eaten his berry. Swallowing down the remaining bits, Baisoon smiled. All she had been eating back home was grass, and more grass. It got rather boring, perhaps a few of these once in a while wouldn't bee too bad. Baisoon turned to the stallion who did not seem to be joining them in the dining. Tilting her head, Baisoon wondered and thought if she should invite him over. How would she attempt to? It would be good practice, but if she fails, well she'd look like a fool. The filly turned and faced Ambroise. Pointed her nose at him then turned it back to the bush. Did that another two times and returned herself back the bush and started snatching more berries. Her insides started feeling rather satisfactory. Nodding, she fell onto her bottom and sat there. Letting her tail brush the ground, but move side to side. A little bit od dust formed behind her, but Baisoon did not notice nor would she care. She couldn't open her mouth to answer Feng's question but she hoped the snatching of berries gave the hint. Her eyes sparkled as she stared at them berries. They were delicious but she felt...stuffed sort of. Such a small portion of edible items, and she was full. Then again she was a smaller size then anyon else in her herd. Baisoon gazed up at the big plants and tilted her head at them. The filly wanted to know what plants grew so tall, perhaps she can get an answer somehow?

Trotting over to one, she kicked the brown part, it was rather hard and really thick. The sound was a solid. Up above, the top was not to be seen but she could see from her view that it looked almost like one of those smaller plants that hovered on the Earth's surface. The plant was big, and really nothing special to it, but Baisoon liked it. It looked proud and strong. Baisoon's love of trees came from her mother, a mother who could climb trees. Although, the young filly did not know that. Her heart pumped within her and she smiled. She was alive, this world was real. An awkward thought this was, but sometimes you would stand and wonder, why were you here? What is the purpose of this life? Are you real? Baisoon slowly looked down from the green almond shaped things that clung on the big plant above. Her eyes drifted back to Feng, she slowly cranked up a smile.

She seemed to be lightening up in a manner of speaking, with each passing moment she became more comfortable and this made Fenghuang proud. Fenghuang got a rather great deal of satisfaction from knowing that he made others happy. While his methods were unconventional and often surprising at first, the outcome was usually the same. In the end he always received a smile, a giggle or a nudge of mimicking affection not unlike his own. In a manner of speaking he considered his job 'well done' and more than complete - a smile meant a thousand words to him and screamed out louder than any traditional shriek could.

Nevertheless as she turned her attention towards his brother he did watch her closely. The repeated gestures were a puzzle for a while, however they did click eventually and he shook his head. When she had taken her 'seat' on the ground he flicked his own tail against his flank and glanced at his brother. "He's real stubborn," Fenghuang pointed out calmly and grinned, "Lemme show you how to get his attention," he added and with that he trotted towards his brother. Unsurprisingly, Ambroise's gaze flicked towards him enquiringly though the older stallion made no attempts to speak.

"Anuie!" Fenghuang announced enthusiastically, clamping his mouth around one of his brother's furled wings to give it a tug. This tug was repeated a few times and then the foal ran back to Baisoon. Coming to a halt beside her he stared at his brother again and shook his backside in an almost taunting fashion - it was then (and only then) that Ambroise raised a brow and appeared to look even remotely interested in the pair of children.

That being said he still didn't move, the grown stallion had eaten more than enough a few hours ago before they had set out for home.

"See, he's looking at ye now!"

Letting her head roll onto the side on her Neck, she wondered why the stallion did not bite him back. Baisoon sure would have if that were her. The filly got up, a bit wobbly you could see. Her legs shook a little but soon strengthened and she was standing yet again. Her eyes trailed towards Feng then back to Anuie, which seem to be the name of the stallion. Waiting for a rather bigger reaction, nothign came. She shrugged and looked at Feng. The stallion, she was afraid to go to him and try pulling on him but Feng, that was a different story. As well, he was more..cheerful that the winged one. Her head reached foward and she opened her mouth, took a strand on his rather short tail, and gave it a gentle tug. Letting go Baisoon tilted her head for a second before trotting behind the berry bush smiling. She hadnt played like the other foals, but Baisoon did stay still and hide in the shadows observing them. Her brown could easily sink into the color of the big plants, but half of the area was green. So her camouflage plan didnt work out much. Baisoon looked like she laughed, and that was about the first sound she made in the conversation that wasnt the sound of her hoof hitting the earth. She looked up at the big plant once more, then puzzled expression turned on, and she face Feng. She wanted to know what this object was, that seem to reach up so high and it look like it could touch the sky.

When Baisoon was far from this place, these plants looked rather small, that was until you got right side by side to them. Her heart thudded in her ears, was it really that silent? Baisoon felt odd and she put on a smile, it felt grat to 'play' around like foals do. Her mother had used that word, maybe thats what all the laughing and running around for foals is called...'play'. Baisoon sat on her bum once again and flicked her tail like how she liked to. The big blue above had let a few drops down a few days ago. So the big blue above was made from water, that is how the water droplets fell down. Baisoon smiled and felt rather proud for herself for figuring that out. Even though she wasnt sure, it was a guess. Her body felt warm as she glanced quickly at the source of the light. The rays that hurt her eyes when she looked right at it. The filly turned away blinking and summoned her emotionless face towards the two. Still rather puzzled by all the strange things.

Gasp!

She'd tugged his tail and run away! He knew what that meant, in the language of all foals this was a direct challenge and he gave a squeal of delight. So she wasn't as quiet as his brother, granted she didn't talk much but she certainly wasn't boring. He glanced briefly at his tail, gave it a shake and then peered at the filly who had hidden behind the bush. It was surprising to him to see how easy it was for her to 'disappear' agains the bark of the tree trunk. Really in his family, camoflauge wasn't one of their specialities so such a skil lwas a novelty.

"Do that again!" he cheered in reference to her 'magic trick' his ears perking again. It was only when she stared up at the sky and her eyes seemed to go 'fuzzy' that he giggled again and shook his head. "But don't to that again, the sun will hurt your eyes if you look at it for a long time. Anuie told me that last time and I didn't listen...then I couldn't see for hours!" He announced. Oddly enough he seemed proud of such a declaration even if it was completely and utterly stupid.

Ah, but Anuie was there to keep him straight, right?

"And why do ya keep looking up at the tree?" He drew closer to the filly and turned his head up to case at the tree and the cnaopy above. He couldn't see anything of particular note but maybe she could. "Did you see a pretty bird? Cause I think it's gone now..." he mused, almost disappointed that he'd missed out on such a thing.

The colt had told her not to look up. Baisoon shook her head to get her better vision back as it blurred again. Her eyes seem to watch everything come back to its original color and slowly many bushes mushed together and turned out to be just one. The filly smiled as her eyes quickly adjusted back to the regular sight and she looked at the colt as he called the big plant, a 'tree'. Was that was this humungo plant was called? A tree? What a funny name. Baisoon smiled and took her steps towards the thick brown trunk. Her eyes scanned it. The shade of her, well only very certain parts. Most of her back was black, almost like the colors when it turned from day to night. Her tail started flicking side to side as she finally got her answer to what this thing is called. A bird? Did she see a bird? Nope, that was not what she saw.

Baisoon continued to inspect the tree, and she took her time walking around it. Circling the trunk. Disappearing behind the plant, Baisoon couldn't see Feng or Anuie, exception for maybe the end of the older stallion's behind. Trotting out from behind the place she let her little hooves make marks in the soft dirt. A little clumsy looking at she trotted but she managed to run behind Feng and take another tug at his tail. This was fun! For Anuie however, this looked rather boring, or judging from his expression. Baisoon stopped as her eyes fell on the stallion. Was life really boring when you get older? Oh if only she had the voice, too many questions that needed an answer.

A tiny monarch fluttered by her eyes and cut the dazed look she had on Anuie. The insect didnt fly in a steady path, instead it looked like once in a while wind was blowing hard on it that it made it stagger a bit. Her orbs followed after the bug as her mouth turned from a smile to an 'o' shape. Too many creatures and beings she has not seen, and yet she cant know what they were. Once again, she blamed her voice. That just means the world holds many times when she'll have to use her imagination. The dark filly felt her back turning a bit hot. She realised she was standing in the sunlight, shuffling over, the sun was off her. However, the heat seem to remain on her back. Baisoon made a sad looked to her back and then remmebered Feng was around. Searching widly to where the fellow had gone, she smiled and started flicking her tail like a dog.
