I will teach lessons for those of you who are complete idiots at being a ninja, or ninja who want to excel quickly in rank. From now on, this should be treated as a LITERATE roleplay. No text speak! I will kill anyone who doesn't follow that rule! I used to be more laid back about this, but I CAN NOT TAKE IT. Sorow, do not think you are protected from this rule, I'll kill you too if you don't abide.
Now, for rules on how to roleplay:
Out of character (OOC) must be put in either {}, [], (), or <>, the words going in between. Example: {{ Hey guys, put OOC stuff in here }}
Speak in quotes. "" Example: "If you don't do as I say I'll kill you" May said harshly.
BE LITERATE. If you aren't literate, (don't use proper spelling and grammar) you will be laughed at in the world of roleplay. And people such as me will hate you. Capitalize the first word in a sentence, and use proper punctuation. SPELL CHECK IS YOUR FRIEND. See the red lines after you type? THAT MEANS SOMETHING IS SPELLED WRONG. Names are the exceptions.
Roleplay is like reading a book. After speaking, you would explain actions, and/or how your character spoke. Example: "Like this, got it?" May asked, pacing before the students, glaring at them all. She stopped in front of one, crouching down before him. "Talking to you, smart one." She said, annoyance apparent in her voice. EDIT: She pointed at the next section. "Don't worry about this edit until you read the next section of this tutorial."
If you need to edit something other than spelling or some type of coding error, do as I did above.
Type more than one sentence. It makes roleplays drag on forever, and if your post is only one line, it most likely isn't very good. {{ OOC is an exception, seeing as you usually only type things you want to reply to, or want to say outside of the roleplay. }}
ALWAYS READ ALL OF THE FIRST PAGE OF A ROLEPLAY. That page has the most important information about the roleplay, and most people won't even acknowledge you if you don't do as they asked in the first page.
I believe this is enough to make you all semi-literate. I might add more things later, but this should do for now. Some roleplays will ask for a skeleton, or profile. If you read the first page, you should understand what they mean, but its something like this usually:

Appearence: {{Go to photobucket, find an anime pic you like, and copy and paste the IMG code. The picture should NOT be of yourself, and make sure no one else in the roleplay is using that pic.
