It hadn't taken long for the brothers to find themselves at the will of Jabril's fascination with biology and science, the fact that the creature had made it through such a horrendous affair woul have shocked anyone who hadn't known very much about the strange teal tinted biologist. It actually had Lock believing his brother was finally etting somewhere with his genetic testing. Things were still living.
Well, atleast the ninth one lived, who knew what happened to Cockatrice 1-8. Part of him wondered if there were any more after nine. Fifty two? He recalled his father being branded as 81, or something akin to that number, so it wasn't like his bloolines weren't connected to multiple instances of things that did work. This made him a little fretful.
"Oi, now, that'll be quite enuff f'r me, li'l brother, 'e better not be tryin' to eat me or som'thin or I'll feed it a wrench." He stated calmly, as he felt the scaly creature as it started to coil around him. Fear was out of the question for the older brother; fear to him was at the mercy of white, sharp teeth of a certain blood relative. This was just uncomfortable, having a snake-creature trying to eat your head was never a picnic.
"'Ello Creature o' th' Brother-o-mine, I hope yir not in'erested in ice-cold kitsusagi." He cooed to the creature. Trying to reason with a beast was usually very unsuccessful in his books - having being chased by many creatures outside of his genetic tree, but he couldn't help to try with something branded with Jabril's flare of life. Besides, mum would pitch a fit of he went missing, Lock was sure.
Though, the last statement his only brother came out with made it all the less hopeful - he started to wonder what.. problem.. Jabril had in store for the heroic older brother.
It sounded like he wished he had his welding torch.
