It was a bright, sunny day in the west...much to Soyala's irritation. She had never been overly fond of the heat, especially not excesses of it, however...
'It's still better than the North,' she mused, padding across the sands towards a small oasis. The shimmering sight was a welcome one...as well as the discovery that this particular oasis was real and not another mirage. Chuckling to herself humorlessly, the spotted Alpha Helix settled on the water's edge, leaning in for a much-needed drink.
After refreshment and a little rest, perhaps she'd attempt a hunt. Even if it was only after mid-day, she was feeling a bit peckish.

((Waiting for kimya's cert)) Kimya had walked far his head and tail kept high as an Alpha Helix should. His paws stepped into the sand as he walked he loved the hot sun as it warmed up his body.
He opened his eyes and noticed another Helix, she looked like a leopard, but they were normally in the north. He was interested so he walked over "Hello my fair lady" he said coolly as he bowed politely and approached her with hospitality.

Soyala's hackles raised and her spine stiffened at the arrival of this stranger. She stifled a low growl at the greeting, knowing it was meant to be polite, though she'd have loved to snap that she belonged to no one, let alone this stranger. She had to give him credit for approaching her so boldly, however. He was either extremely confident...or exceedingly foolish.
"I acknowledge your greeting and return my own," she started slowly, a stiff nod accompanying her speech. "However, I ask what business you have in my lands. Your approach is bold, which implies that you have a purpose here. Your intent is of great interest to me. It speaks as to whether you are simply brave, or a fool. So...which is it?"
Her eyes narrowed, waiting for the strange Helix's reply. If he meant no harm, then fine...she would permit his passage through her land. However, if he harbored the slightest hint of ill intent, she would be quick to dispose of the fool.
