Journey's day had, so far, gone quite well. She had woken to her daughter's bright, smiling face, excitedly explaining about the leaves beginning to change color. It was her first autumn; Journey couldn't count how many times she'd danced in the crimson and gold petals, laughing and jumping around like a foal.

But thinking about the old days made her sad. She couldn't help but remember the harsh winter that Liebe was born, and how her father had abandoned her and her foals. It made her heart ache to think about her son, as well, but she pushed the sad thoughts aside. It was a perfectly beautiful day; the sun shone brightly overhead, and the birds were chirping high up in the trees.

Sighing contentedly, Journey stretched her wings out at her side as she ambled along her favorite beaten path, yawning and blinking lazily. The morning air was crisp, but not cold; it made her muscles yearn to extend and her lungs wish to ache. But another side of her, the mother of two whose heart had been torn into so many pieces by others, wanted to have a nice, relaxing day for a change. She had left Liebe at home with Oliver and his daughter, choosing to take a walk out in the meadow by herself.

She spotted a single, delicate white flower not too far off and smiled as she approached it. Though it was late in the season, the flower had not yet begun to wilt; Journey made a mental note to come pick it in a few days' time for... well, she didn't know. But such a flower late in the year should be kept.

Baisoon Yen. That was her name. Even though no one else knew it and coudl say it but her family, Baisoon still felt pride in that name. She didnt know why but she was proud. Her mouth kept shut, and should be since it was no need to be used. Baisoon wasnt sure how her world would go without a voice, her heart thudding lightly against her chest. Legs still weak from recently crawling out of her caged world inside that damn basket. It was good she had gotten enough strength to kick it open just recently, or else she'd die of boredom in there. Both her sisters had their voices, their power to talk. Baisoon felt a pain in her heart but she stood straighter and kept her head taller and kept walking. Keeping the balance too. Her head coudl easily unbalance her with her weak legs. Still trying to walk perfectly fine, Baisoon yawned. That was one of the sounds she could make: yawn, laugh, snort, and course other body parts come into play when the time was needed. Her family, deviastated almost when found out she could not speak. First they had thought she was just young, but when the other two had started, they knew there was something wrong. It was nothing wrong it was a gift from god. That was what her mother told her, and her so-called brother Dinyin had stated 'Yea a gift from god, she probably was a very snappy and dark hearted girl, when the spirts summoned her to us, they didnt want us in pain, so they shut her up for good.' What he said earnt himself a good kick in the leg by her and a good hit from her mother. Baisoon snorted at that thought. The language other's use was almost foreign to her. Sticking with her brother for the past few days, she hadnt learn much but she got some words. So what some said may sound like gibberish to her. Baisoon yawned again and did not know where she was. Clearly, the grass or whatever it was, they werent green, seem to surron her and reach right under her ears. Baicly, Baisoon couldnt see where exactly she was going.

Other fillies were hopping widly and happily. While she could feel the matureness and still-ness rise in her. Probably taken from after her father's status. Her father looked different from her brothers, but she guessed that it was because he was older. Then her mother said her father was an 'elder', some one who we all look up to. Baisoon still didnt understand what she meant nor did she care as long as it didnt give a bad effect. Dinyin was saying something like their parents rarely appear in their children's lives, and that was true. A few days had passed and she was by herself or spending valuable time with Dinyin, which was obiviously wasted. She had followed him in hopes to learn something and understand life. No help as he was a lazy a**. Baisoon snorted and looked ahead, somethign stuck out of these tall grass things, it was grey. One of the few colors she knows.
