Bored. That's all that could describe the brown haired youth's mood. His ocean eyes were shadowed by his heavy lids, a dull look pasted onto his face, his mouth stitched closed, and hands behind his head. He really was quite the site, lying on the sidewalk like this. Not that he really gave half a crap. He was bored. Maybe if someone stepped on him or something...but everyone just avoided him.
Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.
He groaned, attracting some attention, and a little boy questioning his mother as to what Zen was doing. She told him that Mr. Horo was just...being strange, because teenagers acted strange. The boy said he didn't wanna be a teenager then.

"Sing for the day! Sing for the moment! Sing for the time of your llllllllliiiiiiiiiifffffffeeeeeee!!!"
She struck a pose while holding out that last high note, earning (if possible) even more weird looks then Zen had. Not caring what others though, Jen continued onward with Aura, her beloved Arcanine, following close behind with a tennis ball clenched in her jaws.
The two of them had been playing in the park since this morning; but, now was the time to chill out and take a breather. So Jen had decided to head over to the Karaoke Bar. They had slushies at half-price today!
So caught up in her thoughts, Jen didn't noticed Zen laying there in the middle of the sidewalk and simply stepped over him. Aura, on the other hand, accidently stepped on the human's stomach, causing the pokemon to look down in confusion when the hard concrete suddenly turned squishy.
"Ar?"
A bark of happiness and Aura stepped off Zen, dropping the drool-covered tennis ball in his lap before proceeding to lick his face.

"Ow." Zen stated simply, not knowing that he was about to be bombarded in a massive slobber fest that would completely destroy his hair, as well as his bored attitude. With a cry of surprise and some joy, with a pinch of fear, the attack begun. Soon, he was completely on the cement, being bombarded by the Arcanine. He joyously went along with her game, holding her face and allowed her to attack him.
"Alright girl, that's enough." He chortled, getting up and petting her, looking at the back of the Arcanine's trainer. She was singing pretty loudly, drawing attention to herself. Hmm...yeah. This would be perfect. He ran up behind her, before placing a firm hand on her shoulder, screaming 'boo' in her ears. Very fun.

"GIFBJUHGYUBGH!!!"
Jen screamed in surprise at the "boo" before spinning around to slap the living daylights outta whoever thought it would be funny to pull a prank on her.
She managed to stop herself at the familiar face, but couldn't resist smirking and pointing at his drool-induced bed-head while regaining her composer somewhat. "Hey Zenny. Nice hairdo, have a fight with a bottle of hair-gel and loose this morning?"
Aura came trotting over to them and her trainer gently patted the pokemon before withdrawing her back into her pokeball. While putting said item away, the trainer eyed her companion before turning and continuing to walk onwards, motioning for him to follow.
"So, Zenny? WHere might ya be headin' to? Contest Hall is pad-locked and the beach is stinkin' crowded, not to mention the stadium to closed to repair the fields...."

"I told you not to call me that." Zen muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets. He didn't like his hair being mussed up by dog spit. It felt...icky. Wait? Icky? What was he, a pmsing woman? Nah, he just liked his hair. Yeah, that was it. And besides, who said Icky anymore? Only beezies, that's who.
"I was headed no where, really. Bored out of Hell, and Heaven's closed for repairs." Zen laughed, smoothing his hair out. "But hey, I'll go wherever you're headed. It'll give me something to do."
