"You did?!"
"Uh-huh,"
"And he--"
"Uh-Huh!"
"And you--"
"Yep!" I said to Zelda, giggling and blushing. Zelda smiled.
"Aww, way to go Hina!!" she said, happily, "So does that mean you and Lee are, y'know, together?"
I blushed a little more. I thought about it...
After that kiss, we HAVE been spending more time together. Ami still doesn't know. And so far, Zelda is the only person I told. I guess you could say...We ARE together. So I nodded, smiling.
"See? I told you you had nothing to worry about, Hina!" Zelda said.
"I guess," I smiled brightly.
"Hina-chan!" Lee said, walking up to us. I looked at Lee.
"Lee-kun!" I said, happily. Zelda looked at us and couldn't help letting out a small squeel.
"Uh, oops," she said, rubbing the back of her head. I blushed and giggled.
"Guess I'll leave you two alone," She said, with a little smirk and giggle, then teleported away. I looked at Lee.
"You wanted to talk to me, Lee-kun?" I asked him. He had a serious face on and wouldn't look me in the eyes. I became confused.
"Lee? Are you alright?" I said walking closer to him. Lee still didn't look me in the eyes.
"Hina, can I be honest with you?" he said. I didn't know exactly what he meant, but I smiled a little nervously.
"Sure, go ahead," I replied. Lee sighed.
"I...lied,"
I felt like my heart had stopped at that momment...
"About...what, Lee?" I said, softly. He looked me in the eyes.
"I...only said 'I loved you' because..." he paused, like he didn't want to continue. I knew what ever he was going to say would hurt me anyway.
"Because what?"
"...I...wanted to get Sakura jelaous..."
I looked down, sadly. I didn't want to show Lee I was crying. Shinobi weren't supposed to cry. But this whole time he STILL loved Sakura. I was used.
"O-Oh," I repiled, my voice a little shaky and soft, "Did it work?" I said, looking up at him, smiling. Truth was I was only smiling to cover how sad I was.
"H-Hai, it did..." He said, getting over it, "And I have a date with her right now at Ichiraku's," he said smiling. I was happy for my cousin, really I was. He's always wanted that date with Sakura Haruno, I won't stop him.
"Great! I'm happy for you, Lee-kun, go on before you miss your date," I said, smiling with him. Lee nodded.
"Thank you, Hina!" he said, running off...
I stood there in the training grounds. I was happy as Lee's cousin...But sad as Lee's ex...no, we never were really boy friend or girlfriend...more like...Sad as Lee's used girl...
