The guild sub-forums are now out and they cost 2.5k each. Right now we have about a thousand in the guild account and it would be nice if people could start donating to the cause of getting sub-forums.

We're going to make a crew sub-forum.

If everyone is in favor of the ideas of the ones that were already presented then we're going to see how those work out.

All in all I think it's going to be a little slower at first setting everything up but I think it'll make things more organized.

As of now these seemed to be the main ones:

"Relationships forum"

"Sex forum"

"Pregnancy/Parenting forum"

"Self Harm/Suicide forum"

With the low traffic we're going to get I don't see it necessary to make a venting forum just yet.

"Venting/Ranting forum" for people that just want to rant about anything.

I think it'd be nice if we had an "Announcements" forum too for all the important things going on in the guild or maybe even LI. I think we should have this because people could post to it. We could have threads as Announcements with the actual news and then people could comment it in normal threads. It's an idea.

All of the sub-forums would have announcements and stickies to them for facts, links, FAQs, and maybe even people in general that you can PM specifically.

Since I don't really like being a dictator this is open for discussion. If you have any ideas, just say 'em.

Even though I was just invited/ just joined this guild, I think that's a superb idea. Then things would be more organized, and people could select which part they want to advise on/ write in.

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons why I want specific ones because everything's getting crowded and I don't know where to put things anymore.

I was also thinking about having a "Discussion" forum where people can go and talk and everything. Kind of like a ChatterBox just with a different name. All the stickies could probably go in there and such.

I don't even know where to put this thing. >.< I was thinking I should set it as Announcement but nobody seems to post in those, so.

That's a really good idea and I guess it would be really helpful to many people aswell. Do you think you'll add any more through time?

What do you mean by adding? If you're talking about sub-forums then, yes, I was just getting some things down.

This is a feature I have REALLY been looking forward to for my guild. So many issues, so little organization....

As far as this guild goes, i like the ones you listed in your first post. they sound pretty good. Maybe an Advice Giving SF to house all those inevitable threads of people who are only seeking advice?

Uuuummmm..... I'm not sure. I really haven't sat down and actually decided what SFs I'm gonna have either. I guess I should start doing this!

My only concern is that by adding subforums, the threads will be so compartmentalized that it will hinder discussion. I'd need to fully see how the SF system works to make an informed decision.

Yeah, that was one of my concerns too. I'm pretty sure it'll be like the normal Gaian sub-forums though or based on them.
