Riley shifted boredly through the racks of sparkly shirt, before finally rolling her eyes and moving to the next rack.

Ever since she had been on "Stars and Starlets" the Agency had been trying to get her to to wear more color. They had said the red of her 'dress' (she liked to think of it more as a swimsuit) had popped because of her dark features, and that she'd be more noticable to publicity if she wasn't dressing so drably.

"Ugh, why is everything covered in sequins!" she said out loud, unable to contain her frustration anymore. Her brown eyes fell on the next rack, assuming it would contain more of the same.

Recks sat on a bench in the large mall, hair pulled back, and blur eyes wide as he just sat and looked around. They sure didn't have malls like this where he had lived. All in all, the blonde was more than a bit over welmed. Rubbing the back of his neck, he finally thought he had spotted a store that might have his type of stuff. All Recks had in his closet were some jeans that were begining to look pretty shabby, and old t-shirts. It was time for a little something new. The boy was conservative with his money though, and he knew, in a place like this, it would bound to drive him up the wall trying to look for bargains.

'Why couldn't I have just looked for a Goodwill store?' He thought to himself as he looked through racks a department over from where Riley was. Poor Recks almost choked when he looked at a price tag on some of the stuff.
Dude, who paid 40$ for a simple T-shirt?
He let out a heavy sigh. It seemed shopping wasn't going well for eather young stars-to be.

"What the..." Riley pulled a skirt shorter than the one she wore to perform in off the rack and held it up to her waist. How did one walk around town in a skirt like this. It was just asking for trouble, she thought.

She caught a glance with the blonde across the way. Riley was still young, and even though she was serious about her dancing, a little bit of the 'boy crazy' ness was still in her. She swished her hips, making the miniscule skirt move about, then she laughed.

"At least you won't have trouble finding something that covers everything, hm?" Everything for girls her age and size was....tiny. And sparkely.

"Huh?" Recks looked up, spotted Riley, then grinned. "Yeah, I guess to. Heh. It's finding something affordable that's a pain," He said, gesturing to the rack before him with a bit of a laugh.

"M' name's Recks," he said, leaning on the rack, casually. "What's yours?"
Recks grinned, innocent and simply boy-like as could be. He was truely a friendly sort - no city boy, for sure. It could be an endearing, but sometimes annoying quality. Recks tried to be everyone's friend.

"I'm Riley," she answered, as she glanced down at the price tag of the skirt. "$140? Hah. Did you ever notice the less fabric, the higher the cost. And then they try to say it's 'designer.'."

She walked over to the aisleway. "I'm told I need a 'look'. Apparently black is out, as far as being glamerous. What do you think of this?" She pulled a pink shiney, slinky shirt off and held it up. Riley couldn't help but wrinkle her nose and giggle a little.

Recks made a look, raising a brow at the offendingly sparkly material.
"Ummm, wow." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Um,....they sell anything here that doesn't scream, ugh,...ummm,...-" he tried to search for the words, but then seettled with a, "eh, you know."

He gave a slightly nervouse laugh. "I'd say go with light blue, but, y'know," he pulled at his shirt, "Kinda biased there."

"Hm, blue...That's a nice color." She placed the horrible pink shirt back, almost dropping it before it hit the rack, in such a hurry to get rid of it.

"You looking for anything special here today, or just got nothing better to do?" she asked, while busying herself looking at a rack of much tamer clothes. "Oh, that's nice," she said, pulling a pretty sky blue collared belly shirt. Its sleeves scrunched up around the wrists and flaired out to go past her hands.

"Preferably something that won't drain my wallet. Heheh, I value eating too much for that!"

Speaking of wich, wasn't it almost lunch time? He didn't wear a watch, so he let his stomache dictate the time. If he didn't find something soon, He'd just catch a bite, then try someplace cheaper.
Oh, there was a long road ahead for the boy. He'd have to learn to spend.

"So, ah, you said you were told you need a new look. Just what do you do, anyway?"

"Haha, eating is severly overrated." She slipped the blue shirt over her black form fitting one and buttoned it up.

"Nice. Not to tight, and the black doesn't show through..." she took it off and put it back on it's hanger. "I like it. Now I gotta find something to match."

Riley glanced up, and spun a quick piroute, reaching an arm up in the air. "I'm a dancer. Although lately, I've been dancing a more spicy style." As she came down from spin, she did a quick salsa cha-cha step in place, swaying her hips. "Although, if you don't watch much tv, you wouldn't know."

"Oooh." She picked up a long skirt, with large square pockets on the front. Riley never was one to be too distracted when she was supposed to be doing something else, even by a pretty face.
