Serre had known about the two arriving so it wasn't surprising that as she entered the forest she was greeted by a red headed man with a giddy expression. His tail had been wagging rather quickly which made Serre question his smile. None the less she was glade to see such a familiar face and greeted him with a wave. "Nice to see a familiar face." She said as she got closer to the man, staring up at him. It always brought a sense of comfort to her when she acknowledged his heigth and the fact that she was HIS training.

Size doesn't matter.

She stared at the man for a brief moment before asking "Have you enjoyed your stroll? Where's Zeph?" She glanced around, noticing that the smaller wolf was no where to be seen. Perhaps he had hung back to spend some time with Krisha, the little one had just recently appeared from his vase so it was only natural that he was curious and full of questions. This sprouted another question. "I take it you met that other wolf? The pathetic one?" She asked with a tilt of her head so she was looking further up at Jin. Her expression was that of one mocking the man's existence, it was obvious that she didn't think highly of him...for whatever reasons.

Serre was glad to see the red head despite how she wouldn't admit it directly. The conversation had started out smooth enough, she hadn't remarked upon anything nor would she for a short while. Still, it was only a matter of time before everything started up again. And once it did she was showing no mercy.

Jin had gone long enough without a pair. Even Zeph saw this and he was only so young. She wasn't going to push him to that point but she was going to push him. She wasn't lending him her's anymore.

Jin sneered at the mention of the 'other wolf'.
It was the natural instinct. His family was his territory and Shah was trying to take a member of it.
He had known it could happen, should happen, but that didn't make it easier.

"Yes, I believe I've had the pleasure."

His voice took on a more gravelly sound as he admitted to that.
"Krisha introduced him as her...
Beau."

He almost, almost, visibly winced at this.

Out of all of them, why had she picked him?
A wolf, like them.
He didn't really need to be so bothered by it now though, did he?

"Yes, we had a nice stroll.
Met some interesting young people.
Talked, chatted, and whatnot.
Zeph actually found himself a friend.
He's with him a ways back now."

His answers were somewhat short, a little curt, but nothing that could be held against him.
"And you?"

Shah wasn't happy with the reaction Krisha gave him from his kiss but he dealt with it...despite his constant whining. He whimpered like a wounded puppy and kept his tail still. He gave her a pair of puppy dog eyes that were rather funny considering Shah's own personality. He trailed behind her, doing this as they walked through the forest. He grew louder the longer Krisha ignored him though he was amused by her. How long would she last? How long would he? Not very long.

After a minute or so of whimpering he slipped up close behind her and grabbed her by the waist gently, whimpering even louder and more puppy like. One could only wonder if he had done this before...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The two little boys had been left alone within the forest but Zacheus was okay with that. He had Zeph with him and Zeph knew a lot more then Zach did and this brought comfort to the little fairy boy. Zach had wandered back behind the bush to his vase which he had asked Shah to return to where ever it was that they were staying. He hadn't wanted to hold it but Krisha, the blue haired woman, had made him...Zach wasn't sure if he still had it.
Zach's light blue wings fluttered gently with a soft breeze as he crawled out from behind the bush and back to Zeph. He glanced around, there wasn't much here but tree's. "So!" He turned back to Zeph, "What cha want to do?" He asked with a questionable expression.
Sylas awoke the next morning with a start. He was happy that the night went well. He ran into Kira's bedroom to find her, yet, to no avail. "Where the heck? Where did she go?" he said to himself aloud. He wondered where she could have gone, especially without her telling him.
He then decided outside was the best bet. He ran outside quickly to see if she was out there. No? Maybe outside wasn't the best place either. Where else could she have gone? He ventured out a bit to see if she had gone further out than he had expected. Maybe he could find her then. Hopefully.
Serre paused at that word.
Beau?
She gave Jin a look that asked if he was kidding. That man? That wolf? What the hell had happened that night after she left? Well, perhaps it had merely been the moon? Serre doubted that, she could tell his kind. A cocky idiot that went around looking for a "good time." Serre frowned at that, what was Krisha thinking? Well, if he got out of line Serre could set him straight not to mention everyone else. Serre did still have those silver chains, they were hanging by her waist actually.
"Me?"
Serre asked, motioning to herself gently. "Fine, nothing new to report. I checked in on Kira momentarily during the night. It seems she's developed a little male companion. She's growing up rather fast." She said with a nod. They'd have to start training soon. She wondered if Krisha had told her anything about it.
PostPosted: Thu Sep 18, 2008 7:58 pm
Krisha had laughed lightly the entire time he'd been whining.
He seemed very practiced at this.
"You're no puppy hun."
She said, as he came up and looped his arm around her.
One hand came up and gently pushed him away from her slightly pointed ear.
He was horribly persistent, wasn't he?
A small sigh later, she placed a small kiss on his cheek, hoping that would appease him for a bit.
"I bet Amos came with them.
Serre probaly left him at the Labyrinth.
My aunts and Emilie should be there too."
That only left....
Four more.
Dear lord it was going to be a mad house...
Kira ran back to the cave as fast as she could.
The lessons had been inspiring, very helpful, but she still couldn't wait to get back.
They had neighbors now!
Her family was starting to show up!
This day was going to be great~!
She could already hear voices, but she wasn't rushing to meet them.
No, there had been a small fox boy, younger than her, in the big middle room.
He'd told her they were coming.
He was her...almost-brother?
Yeah, that was right.
"Hey Sylas!"
She called out, seeing him outside.
Kira wondered what his reaction would be to her growth...
{Jin/Amos/Zephyr coming soon. Rin/Numari/Emilie will be introduced when Num and Emi's art is finished}
Sylas jaw immediately dropped when he watched her walk up to him. "Wow..." was the first thing he could say once he caught his breath. They were now the same size. That was a very good thing. Of course, he was a slightly few inches taller, but nothing major. At least he wasn't a few feet taller.
Once he caught up with her, he said, "Wow...you look...great...and very much taller haha. When did this happen to you? And where have you been all morning? I've been looking for you ever since I awoke this morning." He had to ask. He had wondered where she had been this whole time. I mean, sure it was one night, but hey, it needed to be said that he didn't like being left alone with no note, no nothing. Who knows what could have happened to her. Of course, Sylas was only thinking of the many possibilities of something happening. Nothing that would have happened. He then waited for a response.
Jin tilted his head sideways as his youngest sister was mentioned.
"I haven't seen her yet, but I can smell her.
She's like Zephyr, they both smell exactly the same as their vases did."
A small smile spread on his face.
He couldn't remember some stuff from before, but there were little things, some pleasant, some unpleasant, that were still there.
He clung to those, like a drowning man at his worst.
The one great thing about being a wolf was the heightened senses.
Since the others weren't far behind, he could slightly hear Krisha.
"They are here!
Went to town for FOOD!"
If anyone knew there almost-aunts would know that you never went hungry around them.
They cooked almost constantly.
"What do I want to do...
Huh, that's a bit of a tough o-"
The boy, somewhat bewildered looking before, froze, nose up in the air.
Was it?
Could it?
"It's them!
Amos is out!"
With that, he grabbed the other boys hand and dashed past the others, almost dragging him.
He, unlike shah, did look very much like a puppy as he ran past Krisha, then past Jin, both who just chuckled at him.
The only one that was younger than him was finally out of his vase though, so he didn't care.
Meanwhile, the small fox boy was coming out of the cave, intent on sneaking to a quieter spot.
Alas, fate was against him though.
Zephyr, pulling the other boy with him, barreled into him not to far from Kira and Sylas.
The three went rolling onto the ground in a tumble of small bodies as Amos let out a rather loud yelp.
"Yes, I shall finally be able to reach the shelves~!"
She said, laughing delightedly as she did a quick turn.
She loved being this height.
This vantage point showed so much more.
It was great~!
"I woke up like this.
I'm going to need a bigger bed."
It was true, but easy yo fix.
She'd just have to pile more blankets and voila, bigger bed.
Which, would be nifty anyway.
More blankets= more warmth.
Nifty.
"I was with the Vase maker, learning magic.
I'll show you later, 'kay?"
Kira laughed when saying this, because her eyes had landed on the younger ones.
Had she really been that small?
Sylas smiled. He was happy to see her happy. "Yes, you will!" he said with a chuckle. He looked at the others coming closer to him and her. He began to smile, seeing how they were all barreling toward them. "These must be your other family members. I wish I had little brothers and sisters running around. But sadly, I don't. But of course, I haven't been home...so who knows what could have happened haha. I don't think Aunt Anna would have gained any children though haha. But if she did, they'd be like my brothers or sisters." he said, wondering what it would be like if he had little siblings.
He looked down at the children. "It is so funny knowing that at one point you were that size. I find it funny because look at how tall we are now compared to them haha." he said smiling.
Zach wasn't prepared for Zeph's response. He wanted an answer, a simple answer but instead he was pulled by his hand all the way to some cave. Zach couldn't exactly protest to this, they were doing something rather then hanging around in the forest. But who was this Amos fellow? Zach didn't have time to ask questions let alone think. He was being dragged by the hand by break neck speed, he would have called out in surprise if there hadn't been a wide grin on his face.
The two slammed into a orange haired boy with fox ears hard, maybe a little too hard. The three of them tumbled forward, each one rolling on top of the other as they rolled forward in a boulder of bodies. Finally, as they came to a stop, they were at the foot of two older Seconds though they were still young. Younger then Jin, Krisha and Shah at least. The three laid on top of one another, the new boy names Amos laid on the bottom with Zach stuck between him and Zeph like a sandwich. He felt like he was getting crushed here, his wings ached as they were pinned against his back. Zach kicked his little legs and feet in a attempt to get Zeph off though it was to of no use.
Lifting a hand, Zach placed it onto Amos head and pulled his upper body up as well as he could. This sadly forced Amos head further down into the earth. He grunted loudly as he pushed upward more. And then, in one quick movement, Zach put all his strength into his tiny wings and forced them to push out, knocking Zeph right off of him before he rolled off of Amos with a groan.
He laid there for a few seconds, staring up at another blue haired girl. She looked like Krisha but she didn't at the same time. Besides her there was a white haired boy with bat wings. He looked in between the two for a few more seconds before a frown formed upon his face. "You guys aren't going to kiss are you?" He asked as he folded his arms across his chest as he laid on the ground. "I've seen enough nasty mushy stuff for one day. Bleh!" He stuck his tongue out at that.
The puppy comment only made him whimper even more though there was a smile on his face. The kiss upon his cheek was something but not enough, he wanted a real kiss. He nuzzled close to her for a moment before he froze. More names? He could smell a couple unfamiliar scents but he assumed they were just people passing by or something along those lines. How many siblings did Krisha have? How many were staying in one place?
"Serre, Amos, Emilie?" Shah asked in question, his whimpering came to a stop as curiosity took over and something else. What was it? Dread? Shah wasn't a people person, obviously. He hadn't liked the momentary stare down with Jin, how many more did he have to do? He didn't mind it, he wasn't intimidated by one but several was something else. Shah may come off as an idiot but even he wasn't stupid enough to not worry...though it was rare for him to actually worry. This was different however. He had taken the chance for Krisha and he never did that. How many times would he have to prove himself to her? To other people? What would they make him do?
What if he they simply didn't give him a chance?
He was unusually silent as he thought this over.
PostPosted: Fri Sep 19, 2008 5:41 pm
Serre nodded gently at Jin's words. The two did smell exactly like their vases but she was sure that would change over time. They were still so young, so innocent to the world. Serre stared at Jin and remembered when they had been the same way, how long ago that was. She gave him a very brief look before she did a gentle roll of her eyes at Jin's words. She had known the three had arrived, she had given them short hellos before she set out to find Krisha, Jin and the rest.
"I could use some steak." She said as a side note as felt the gentle nagging of hunger. She hadn't had a good meal in a while, what with them leaving the Madame and all. She wondered would good for nothing scum would be dwelling in the area. She hoped that they'd put up a better fight then those before them...she doubted that.
Sadly.
Kira:
"Don't worry, you'll be able to visit home soon.
You can even go tonight, after dinner, if you like!"
She said, exuberantly, because she knew he wouldn't go immediately.
She couldn't imagine being without someone now, and as much as she hated to admit it, she would have gotten home sick fairly easily.
Kira only chuckled at his remark, as it went so closely with what she had been thinking.
It was true, she thought, stepping back, that it was hard to think about being that small, even though it hadn't been that long ago.
The laughing blue haired girl managed to dog the rolling children, just barely.
She stopped laughing at the fairy boys statement though, retaining a thoughtful look on her face.
"No, I don't think we were."
______________________
Zephyr:
He inwardly groaned as he was thrown off.
This was coupled with another as Zach spoke.
He'd have to work with him on that, most defiantly. It wouldn't do for him to ask every girl that.
What if he, god forbid, asked that to Serre and Jin.
There really would be a Red Menace on their hands then!
He mumbled a Sorry Kira as he dizzily stood up, only to fall back over on top of Amos.
A small, squishing sound was heard as the two, yet again, tumbled forward.
He really needed to learn to think things through more.
_______________________
Amos:
Why'd they have to do that?
Why, of all things, did they have to do that?
The small fox like boy grumbled and mumbled, rubbing his head as he sat up.
The world was slightly spinning at the moment, and no matter how still he sat it wouldn't stop.
He'd just wanted to go look at the plants, maybe catch a mouse or two...
But noooooo....Stupid Zephyr, stupid fairy.
Making him eat dirt like that.....
The poor boy probably would have gone on like that for hours had 'stupid' zephyr not landed on him once more, knocking him back down into the dirt.
Yet again, he let out an Oof.
"Ger off m'"
He growled through a mouthful of grass, shoving the other boy as he did.
_______________________
Krisha:
Krisha stared at his face for a few seconds.
What had happened to make him change so quickly.
"Let's see....
Theres Kira, me, and you...
Zephyr and Jin...
Amos...
Serre...
Emilie, Numari, and Rin...
Then, Selene, Lucius, and Raul should come soon.
Selenes really nice though, and so's lucius.
They're not near as loud as everyone else.
Emilie and my almost-aunts spend most of their time in the kitchen.
Amos will stay with zeph...
You really don't have to worry.
The labyrinth is so big, we probally won't see them for days."
She had a slight idea what was wrong...so she was quick to try and shoot down the fear.
"Numari should be cooking tonight.
She's great at that.
What would you want to eat?"
The way to a mans heart, right?
She'd have to show him they weren't all like serre and jin.
Those two were of a kind when it came to her....
_________________________
Jin:
Ahhh, Numari's steak.
"I hope she makes the tempura chicken.
The spices she puts on that is great.
She'll probably throw in some sea food too, since we're so close to shore."
His mouth positively watered at the prospects.
Even better than the food though, he secretly admitted, was the fact that Numari always set him next to Serre.
The woman was oddly keen like that.
"So...
How do you like this place so far?"
He asked, needing desperatly to change the subject off food.
He would completly decimate the kitchen if he didn't.
besides, he hadn't been there that long himself, or seen that much of it.
It would be nice to know her oppinion of it before he went off looking.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 20, 2008 4:33 pm
Serre couldn't help but smirk some what as she heard Jin speak. He must be hungry and even if it was just slightly she knew that the more he thought about Numari's cooking the greater the emptiness of his stomach would become. She watched him as she spoke, that smirk still there. He changed the subject to ease his suffering, too bad Serre noticed it. How was this place? She wasn't exactly sure as of yet. She'd be looking for dinner later on so until then she had a very blurry image of what to expect. But as of now, it was "okay." It had been many years since she had left the Madame and although this place had a much more peaceful and secure feel to it, Serre knew that anything was possible. She knew that there would be chaos and drama for the little ones and overall craziness as a whole. And that single idea would have made her smile if she hadn't been smirking. Instead, her smirk grew even wider.
"It's fine." She stated flatly, nodding up at the man. "Once everyone arrives it'll be pure chaos but I'm rather excited for that. Numari's cooking will provide a brief moment of the day for silence, I'm sure no one will be safe from her skill. That's tempura chicken was rather delicious, remember when she spent two days preparing that turkey to perfection?" Serre was going to make his stomach eat himself. "Everyone besides Rin and Emilie were kept out of the kitchen. She had to put a lock on the kitchen door so you couldn't get in and even then you managed to find away inside to take a piece." Serre laughed. She was still smirking but just slightly, she wasn't done yet. "How about when she threw that barbecue for us? She made everything on the earth, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken/pork/beef/lamb shish kabob. She grilled chicken and steak and not to mention the desserts she brought with her. I know I don't gain any nutrient from this but I'd be a liar if I said it wasn't heavenly." Serre paused, staring at Jin with that smirk.
"I'm hungry."
Zach smiled at the younger blue haired girls response. "Good." With that he pushed himself up into a sitting position. His wings still ached from the children sandwich but aside from that he was okay. Some dirt here and there but that was nothing. Zach reached up and felt around on his head, where was his hat? He stared around quickly. It must have flown off as they ran to see Amos. Zach's eyes fell onto the fox boy who was growling at Zephry, who some how had managed to fall on top of him again.
Unhappy that his hat was missing but curious of this knew boy his age, Zach decided to give into his curiosity for the time being. Lord knows the poor fairy wouldn't have gone far if he had chosen otherwise. Zach pushed his small body onto his feet and walked over to Amos and Zeph who were only a couple steps away. He stretched his wings with a frown, trying to get the dull ache away. He had only recently come out of his vase and his luck was bittersweet, because of that tiny knowledge Zach knew that he'd best get over this pain and get ready for some more.
Zach stared down at the two as they laid upon one another. He wasn't exactly sure what he should do but he knew he did need answers. So, rather then simply help the boys up, Zach needed his first major question over and done with. Getting back down upon his hands and knees, Zach placed his face in front of a frowning fox. Wide, curious and an almost bug eyed stare looked into the angry boys. "You're Amos, right?" He asked with so much curiosity it was nearly frightening. So naive, one had to wonder if this fox boy would be the same. He was, after all, younger then the fairy by an hour or so.
Once he got his answer he'd need to go find his hat.
