Don't like the writing or the writer. Did like the soundtrack though.

Twilight is my dirty little not-so-secret secret. It was bad... but it was so good! And I'm not quite sure how it was both, because it was ridiculous.
The best part of the books was whenever Edward and Carlisle started talking "science," and Bella would tune out because it was really obvious that Meyers was BSing... and badly.

singing in the millennium with you I just don't like pretty effeminate vampires, unless they;re vamp chicks. Then they're hot. If there gonna have a male vampire, I'd like to see a badass vampire, kinda like Blade. It's why I mostly like werewolves, zombies, mummies and the son of Frankenstein. resolutions for show

singing in the millennium with you If you like badass vampires, then you would like the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward. Well....they're romance novels, but even my husband loves them ad he's ot feminine at all so yeah. The vampires in that carry around chains and guns and daggers to kill their enemies and stuff. Good books.

True statement. I'm just another Twilight hater. I read about 20 pages of the first book, wondered where the hook was and then realized I was reading a Mary Sue. In agreement with The Faceless Man, I am appalled it was even published. I love vampires, don't get me wrong. But I'm old, and when I was growing up, vampires were badass sophisticates, not abusive boyfriends.
