Hakumei shivered as she waded out into the river, blue and violet coat covered with mud and bits of bush. The dirt instantly staining the water that streamed around her with a dullish red-brown colour, the odd leaf of twig detaching itself from her to be carried off by the river's currents. The chill water lapped at her belly, making her nicker with laughter even as she shivered.
"Eee.. I think I wont be doing that again today.." She giggled, stepping into deeper waters, suddenly gasping as the chill liquid closed over her back. The race through the forest had been fun, the deer had been fast and she had struggled to keep up with them, but eventually she had lost the three creatures to the undergrowth. Finding herself in unfamiliar territory she had followed her nose to the river she was currently cleaning off in.
Deciding that enough was enough she raced out of the water, mane and tail streaming droplets as she pounded up the bank and instantly threw herself down in the long, dry grass for a good roll. Wiggling about on her back, slim, soaked legs pawing the air above her she made a happy sound, the rough scratching felt amazing on her damp body.
Finally she rolled onto her belly and stood, damp tail flicking before she dropped her head, shaking her clean and gleaming body roughly before settling and looking around.
"Where is this...?" She asked no one in particular, her golden eyes like the moon at night gazing round with alert curiosity.

After shaking himself off he stretched each leg, making sure his muscles were loose to prevent strain. After his checks were over he bolted off. The wind immediately caught hold of his mane and tail and tugged them back. He forced his way threw the wind and continued to run.
With speed gradually increasing as each few strides came and gone he jolted his head down the up, with a little jump, to force his goggles over his eyes. He didn't want the chance them flying off his head because he very well he if they did he wouldn't be able to stop for them; and he loved his goggles more then anything.
After running in an open field for some time he neared the forest. Klei chose to run alongside it for a while before changing his course to something different. The smell of fresh running water filled the air. It was hard to miss the smell mainly because the air is consumed was forced against his face. It would be impossible to not smell it. He unexpectedly came to the river quite quickly.
Klei was not aware of his speed and the river which seemed to magically appear beneath him. Letting out a little cry Klei never slowed down; he ran full speed in hopes to simply leap over the river. Whether or not he thought he could doesn't matter for he needed to jump now or plummet. So with a few shorted and powerful strides his hind legs tightened and he sprung forwards. He almost made it too but he was just a little off. His front hooves landed on the other side but left no room for his back ones. In all attempt to cling to the lakes bank Klei ended up toppling bacwards into the river with a large splash.

The far off pounding of hoofbeats caught her attention, ears flicking forwards as she swung round to face the direction the sound came from. Quickly she picked out a shape, dark, with pale mane and tail, the soquili raced towards her, the rain of hoofbeats upon the ground sounding like low rumbling thunder. Amber eyes widened as the other headed directly for her and the river. Eyes widening she flinched as the stallion lept, and missed, looking back just in time to see the legs vanish under the water, the massive splash sending a fine spray back over her even though she stood a few metres downstream.
Brows lifting to vanish under her forlock, she padded to the edge of the river, peering upwater a little to where the stallion had fallen. "... Hello?"

The water watch unexpectedly and unpleasantly cold. His eyes grew wide as he was under then were forced closed. He was far enough underwater that he could touch the bottom. He pressed against the river's bottom to propel himself out quickly. He gasped for air the moment his head was clear of the water then just floated there for a few moments, until he heard a voice. Looking around frantically he started to grow embarrassed. Did somebody see him? Did somebody actually witness him making a complete fool of himself, thinking he could make the jump?
He eventually found where the voice was coming from. There was a mare close by who most likely saw what just happened. With eyes widening again he stared at her. He was able to force out a Hi as he stayed, floating, in the cold water.
