Now this is going to be a different review than most because I'm going to do in a different fashion. So expect some...well complaints. :3

History of Smash Bros.: This is the third game in the Smash series dating back from the 64 and then a sequel was released on the GCN last generation. Now this is third installment of the series now on the Wii. Then General game is simple you get your damage up in order to get them out of the ring. It's basically chaos and destruction with many Nintendo characters and now third party characters are beating the s**t out of each other in dream matches like Sonic vs Mario and others. There are also Team Battles and 3 vs 1 and such things of that.

Returning features: There are a couple of features that returned from Melee one of them is the trophy system. Nothing has much has changed, because you can get from the events, classic and the brand new adventure mode. Plus the All-Star mode returns as well which also gives out trophies. However unlike Melee, you use your coins in order to shoot at trophies instead of using a gumball machine in order to get them. Also stickers come and CDs for music. So basically much is improved but not that improved.

The New Adventure Mode: This a new mode that was from the Melee game but improved? Not really it's basically the entire game of Melee but just longer except with boss battles and Kirby like feel to it. However unlike Kirby the enemies are eh, some of the bosses are ok to pretty good and the last boss is from TRON?! Plus Sonic is at the end...Plus there is a story here. All the bad guys get together with Mr. Ganny and some weird Purple dude in order to take over Nintendoland with some weird Purple Mist. But story..is eh. Most of the game takes place just moving place to place beating up generic enemies, collecting stuff, hitting switches and typical platforming action the problem is it doesn't work that well. It's does and then it doesn't. Overall it could of been better but it works. Also it is two player so anyone can come in. Kind of like an Arcade Fashion.

Gameplay: Basically nothing much has changed, it's still the same game from the 64 era. But with some odd changes though. First off, everyone has space boots, for an odd reason the game feels slow and everyone feels floatly. If you remember in Melee when you jumped with Bowser he looked and felt heavy. Now suddenly he feels like a cloud? Eh? Plus the game is slow, for an odd reason they decided to take some 2-D fighter and try to add to it to make it more strategical but it just takes more longer to get people out. Plus there is a new move that is called the footstool which is so hard to pull of since it happens randomly. Also if you remember in Melee you could dodge and move the stick in order to get closer to the edge...Not anymore! Basically you dodge right there and then. Kind of lame. Also there also three types of controls which are the Wii-mote, Nun-Chuck/Wii-mote combo and GCN controller which has customizable controls basically personalize your control types. A nice touch. : P Also one of the features that return is custom battles but they do take it to another extent..but it's mostly kind of eh. Not that important.
And yes also about the items. x.x; I keep forgetting since I don't play with them. Well the Smash Ball and Assist Trophies are cool but the ATs I call them just get in the way really since some actually the match but nothing really is like "OMG". The Smash Ball really is glorified Super Attack that is sometimes in a cinematic fashion. Some are cool and some are lame. Capt Falcon's and Luigi's are really that stand out and maybe Link and Toon Link but that's it. Everyone else is eh.

Characters: A lot of characters not a lot of time to talk about them. Basically Snake and Sonic stand out, wtf at Rob and no Mega Man? Also MetaKnight is broken as ********. Basically there are some that are good and some that ******** suck a**. It also makes me wonder if this was just a game for the casuals just to get in on the fun. It's not that deep, plus some characters are just better. And poor Falcon. D; The reason I'm not touching the other characters because they were expected. Maybe not the Pokemon Trainer but there has been rumors of Red from the Pokemon series might show up, Toon Link was kind of confirmed even though it was fake. Roy was going to be gone, Wolf was wanted, DDD was coming and so was MetaKnight.

Stages: As the characters, some do return. Some of them are just amazing...but...NO N64 ONES?!...Bad bad bad bad move Nintendo. Where the hell is the 64 Hyrule Castle? NO DREAMLAND? NO SAFFRON CITY? ;-; I thought this game was for the fans.

One of the biggest features is the create a stage feature which is ******** awesome and really the only game's actual good thing to even come back. Custom music and everything you need.

Extras: Well you can demo old games like Super Metroid and etc. Don't why they added that. Uh well the Online sucks a**. They give you a different friend code for a damn odd reason which I don't know why. Lag, boring fights, 2 mins, need Friend codes for a custom match. Yea who-hoo. Basically the extras are well...not enough. And take pictures, practice mode, nothing really much to get excited about. Also you can't copy the data?! ....The ******** Nintendo.

Overall: I'll say it here. Melee is a better game. Melee was just "Holy s**t!" kind of game. This however is like..."Well it looks pretty...but it isn't the same". While the characters are nice, the extras, the new stages and even online. It isn't the AAA game that everyone wanted to be, they missed pleasing those who wanted to master the game but dumbing it down a bit. Basically sometimes you have to camp, meaning just stay on one spot and just stay there for the entire match. While the core gameplay is still there it isn't mind blowing in fact it's a step back. The game is still enjoyable once in a while but isn't a game you can keep coming back because once your done your done. It's mostly a party game and sure it reminds me of the old days but with no depth all your left is a mediocre fighting game.

Therefore Brawl gets a 8.75/10.

Edit: I'll move it later.
