I honestly don't know if real Egyptians celebrate Christmas, but Atemu gladly embraces the holiday season(and forces his relatives to, as well), knowing it brings presents, candy... and snow.
Once a year, the numerous children of Atemu lucky enough to live somewhere other than the palace in Cairo travel(somewhat reluctantly) to the Pharoah's not-so-humble abode in order to visit with their many, many, many close and distant relatives for the holidays. The palace is then bustling with life as people catch up, go shopping, sneak cookies, torture gypsies, or find themselves caught in slightly compromising positions.
