Haramia was playing again, bouncing about to nothing but her own imagination. She wasn’t playing with any of her many siblings, never really comfortable with a good many of them. They didn’t like to play to the degree she enjoyed- they just weren’t that much fun. She had found, in fact, that playing on her own granted her more delight than playing with her brothers and sisters. Nothing against them, of course, she loved them all dearly, she just didn’t think they were that fun. Boring animals could be loved as well.
This time she was an evil menace to the world, slinking through the shadows and peering around the corners of rocks. She was plotting her next big move, dark intent circling in each step she took. Soon the world would be hers. There was no creature on the face of the planet that could compare to her horrible might; she could not be stopped.
Or so she liked to pretend.
Creeping lowly, she spotted her prey- her enemy and the only one who could stop her. It was just too bad her sister didn’t know this plot, unaware of the whole situation. But to Haramia, this girl needed to be taken down before she could gather her strength and save the planet. So the wild dog ran forward, leaping on top of her blind sister. “Ha ha!” she giggled, uncaring to the fact that her sister could not see. For Haramia it was a minor detail- something that didn’t mean Asha needed to be treated differently.

Asha's ears flicked, listening to the pawprints of her sister. However, it was too late for the pup as the rhythm suddenly increased and the warm body of Haramia jumped on top her. She let out a squeak, her eyes shooting open and unseeing, looked up to her sister. What a surprise; Haramia was playing another game and Asha had become her targeted prey. Oh well; it was something to do, now, wasn't it?
As an idea came into her little head, a smile widened on her muzzle and her cry of surprise turned into a fountain of laughter. She shifted her weight to roll and the two pups tumbled over one another down a small hill, until they stopped with Asha on top of Haramia.
"Looks like you got the tables turned," she giggled in satisfaction, standing above her sister. "Told ya you couldn't sneak up on me and win."

Surprised, Haramia suddenly found herself on the ground, her sister on top of her. How crafty those born in the light could be! She had managed to over-power her wicked sister so easily! Barking happily, though trying to make it sound like she was in discontent, Haramia wiggled underneath the blind one, trying to get herself out so she didn’t have to look so weak anymore.
“Revenge!” she cried lightly, “I’ll get my revenge, hero Asha!” she knew Asha was not privy to what was going on inside of her head but it didn’t matter. She could catch on or sit in confusion- either way the game was going to continue.
Managing to get herself free, Haramia sprang instantly for her sister again, this time nomming harmlessly onto one of her ears. She wasn’t using her teeth to harm, tugging effortlessly on the ear for a moment before letting it go as though she had put Asha through enough pain. Satisfied, she rolled away, laughing happily. “How is my sister?” she hummed, “were you thinking?”

The little adventurer was happy that Asha played along with her game. It wasn’t as much fun when she sprang on top of someone and they didn’t play along with her. In fact, when they got mad, it really ruined the whole game. So many good times had been ruined thanks to brothers and sisters who didn’t want to play with her when she wanted to play with them. They played sometimes, why not all the time?
Once they game was over, Haramia was happy to have her sister cuddle with her, never one to deny someone attention. She was an affectionate creature and was delighted when she got to show it to others. She giggled lightly, nuzzling back before the conversation captured her attention again.
Haramia looked up at the sky, thoughtful for all of two seconds. Not one to ponder things, the wild pup much preferred using her mind for day dreaming over anything else.
“Clouds are boring!” she remarked to the thought, though more than once she had spent her day watching them drift by, the stories they offered through various pictures more than enough to captivate her for long periods of time. Today, however, she was not interested in the clouds. She wanted to play, not watch a story. “Forget what the clouds are playing as! Play with me, sister!” she offered happily, tail wagging in no particular rhythm.
“We can both be heroes and go find someone who needs to be saved!”

“Um…” hummed the spirited pup, “um… I dunno! But as heroes, we need to go out and find someone!” She knew they would probably end up finding a bug in a spider’s web or maybe a rabbit in a hole that they could pretend had ‘fallen,’ but she didn’t care- to her such small missions were the greatest of heroic exploits. She was ready to help any creature in need- that was her job now, after all.
“Okay!” she barked, moving forward. She knew not to bound too far ahead, as he sister might not be able to find her if she put too much distance between them, but it was difficult to resist the urge to just run for it.
It was a chore to remember that playing with others was actually more fun than playing alone, even if it did mean making some small sacrifices. Sometimes she found it hard to believe. Playing alone was so much fun.
Mom said, however, that being with family was supposed to be more enjoyable. Could she call her mother a liar? In any case, she did enjoy the company of Asha in particular.
“Let’s go! Let’s go! There are animals in need!”

“I know!” barked the brown dog to her sister with delight, “but we’ll save others so fast that it’ll feel like time isn’t moving at all! We’ll be the best heroes ever!” Of course they would be.
Haramia gasped, coming to a complete stop as her ears flicked about, trying desperately to pick up on the noise her sister had heard. But she couldn’t hear anything at all. That didn’t mean, however, that she was going to admit it. The game was afoot and she wasn’t going to be the one to make things not happen just because she didn’t know what her sister was talking about.
Maybe she was happily pretending too.
“You have super ears!” she laughed, looking around, “which way? Which way?! We’ll save that poor creature!” She bounded forward, though she hadn’t been told where to go. For her, it didn’t matter. So long as she was moving. Eventually she would have to run into something, right?
Stopping, she looked back at her sister, remember the sight thing. Moving back to her, she giggled and tried her best to wait.

“You’re so amazing, sister,” giggle Haramia, her light tone not hiding the complete earnesty of her statement. The little female puppy was completely thrilled to be able to hang out with an honest-to-God hero like Asha. She was a little jealous, too, that she was normal and could only be the side kick at best.
A fact that was becoming increasingly true, as she barreled the wrong way, apparently. Screeching to a halt on her paws, little claws attempting to grip the dirt, Haramia almost flipped hard over feet into the ground, managing to stop that from happening just in time. Grinning, she looked back at Asha, not feeling remotely sheepish or embarrassed about her mistake.
Running back, the silly creature bounded next to Asha, brushing his tail against her body for fun and also to let her know that she was again next to her.
“Okay!” she giggled, happy to play the side kick, “let’s keep moving then! This way!” she started walking, this time taking it a little bit slower.

“I don’t know!” Haramia was quick to respond, “but whatever it is, we’ll find a way to beat it! There’s no bad guy that the two of us can’t over-power!” She wasn’t thinking realistically, of course. For her the whole thing was already determined. Of course they would win, they were the good guys!
Even though, should they ever find themselves in a real fight or something, they wouldn’t really stand much of a chance at all. Large animals would easily rip two puppies, one blind the other a space-case, apart.
They would be nothing more than loud meals.
After a little while, Haramia stopped, trying to listen to see where they needed to go next. “Are we getting closer?” she asked her sister softly, pressing an ear against the ground in an effort to hear footsteps in the dirt.
