Perilas had written on the board 'evil-tempered', 'acidic slime drool', and 'capable of breathing underwater'. He'd heard about this dragon and was a bit frightened about being in the same room. It seemed to be just like Auloll, which was rather frightening...

Revon walked along quietly, the dragon beside him weaving slightly as he moved. While the dragon still had his classic muzzle on, it was also quite obvious that he wasn't entirely himself. Rather, he seemed more out of it than there. Which explained the lack of trying to chew on the bird's leg.
Though it wasn't just that he actually had his dragon with him that had the boy practically mute. No, this was a teacher that Haruki sometimes... mumbled not so nice things about. Which left him a bit lost. He'd met the man once before, which had gone well enough, but maybe things were different now?
A light tap on the door as he arrived, timidly opening it and leaving it as such as he tried to coax Flower into wandering in, it ended up taking a bit of shoving to get the dragon to move for the 'too small' doorway in his opinion. But eventually it worked out and the raven walked in, quickly noting the board. Well the 'evil-tempered' thing wasn't shock. Eyes shifting back to Peri a moment later he offered a weak forced smile. "I'm sorry if I'm later, Mr. Coleman, Flower wondered down the wrong hall a few times.' Which was the truth. The dragon was near impossible to deal with no matter what the case was.

Peri smiled. "No worries, no worries. You found the place!" He glanced at the black dragon for a moment. This one seemed... strange. And not just like a usual black dragon "I kill you all" strange. Something was off, but he glanced back at the boy. "Well, usually I start class off with questions, so do you have any?"

Oh, well it was good this was the right room. He didn't particularly like the idea of trying to shove his dragon back out of the door to another one. Especially when he'd decided to go flower in a corner and practically fall asleep. Then again, there was the occasional hiss to let them all know he was watching, and as friendly as ever.
And then came the question Peri would dread offering up. "How do I make him like me? He's been very mean since he met his mom and... um the techs say we're supposed to get along, but..." Rubs at one ofhis arms recalling the fact he'd had a few nice scratches the last time Flower had been off his medicine for a bit. "Well the only way they can make him not try to hurt people is to give him some pills." Which probably answered Peri's question about why Flower wasn't in the obvious 'I kill you all' mood.

Peri blinked, startled just a bit by the boy's question. This was Haru's kid, right? Well, he just had more ammo for the man. "Uh... well.." The man thought for a moment. "A lot of treats when he does nice things?" If he ever did... "Telling him you don't like it when he does bad things..." How did one get a black dragon to like you? Not an easy task... even if the kid was supposed to bond with it. "It won't be easy. But a lot of patience should help turn his attitude..."

And Flower, while continuing a periodic hiss like a broken record seeming to think he was making a point, began trying to get loose from his muzzle rather sloppily on the down time. All the while ignoring the two in his 'medicined' state as Revon had put it. At least it kept him from being violent aside from a few grumbled nips here and there.
The boy listened quietly, wings drooping a bit at the words. He'd tried that before, and tried to talk to him. He'd been tolerable until that day, but now... he glanced nervously at the black as it hissed again, then back to Peri. "I'll keep doing that." Because he had been trying it all along, as best he could. Offering a weak no, don't do that, and thank you's when he had followed directions in the past. Or at least behaved. Sadly, any work seemed lost at this point. Apparently he was back on square one, or even further back. "What kind of treats does he like?" Well that would be a good start, giving him what he liked right?

"Any sort of meat, I'm sure. Blacks love meat." Peri really had no other ideas on how to get the black to be nicer... Somehow the words 'black dragon' and 'nice' don't seem to fit into the same sentence. Definitely not in Peri's mind at least. "Any other questions?"

Meat..? If it was possible, the dark boy paled a bit, recalling that he was taken as a tasty meat sometimes. "I- I see... um..." He nodded thinking maybe to ask to have a bit he could try offering kept at home sometimes. "I will try that." At least it meant a possible way to try and get along better, it was worth testing. Though he did shake his head 'no' at the any further questions. There wasn't much to ask beyond how to get the dragon to stop trying to murder him.
Meanwhile the black had given up on the harness again, grumbling softly as he began to slide over, along the floor, almost as if stalking. In truth it had spotted something of a chew toy, one of the pink sandels that Revon was wearing that day. At least it wasn't the boy's ankle.

Peri nodded. "Okay then." He glanced over at the stalking black dragon. "Well, then," He gestured to the board. "As you seem to have learned, blacks aren't exactly nice... And he'll learn how to spit acid as he gets older." Yeah, like blacks needed something ELSE. "And he can breathe underwater. Blacks usually live in swamps in the wild."

As the teacher began, directing him to the board, the boy turned to it, seeming not to notice the fact his dragon had moved from the corner. Acid... acid... was not good. He frowned a bit at that mention, seeming to silently agree with Peri that a black really didn't need something like that. A bad temper was enough. And swamps? He tilted his head a bit, picturing something out of one of the books he'd read. That wasn't exactly a pleasant place to live...
And yet it suited Flower perfectly didn't it?
"Um... by older you mean..?" Yes, he was quite dreading the day that Flower started melting god knew what with spit.
And still closer the thing slid, afterall, he couldn't be bothered to stand up. He was far to clumsy like that. Not that he was much better on the floor, but ever closer he got. Mouth trying to open now, but quickly being halted by the leather straps pulled around his face in a harmless fashion as usual. Which caused a rather loud grunt of annoyance as the black seemed to recall once more his fight with the harness.

"Hrm, well, their breath weapons seem to kick in about the same time you turn a teenager. Or close to that, anyways." His eyes flicked over to the black again, shaking his head just a bit. This one would be scary when he got his breath weapon. It may just be better to take the thing away and give the boy a different dragon...
"Well, that's pretty much it... unless you've got more questions."

He listens quietly, having edged away from where Flower was trying to free his face again to avoid getting scratched up in the process. Eyes trailing down tot he black at the mention of when he'd start spitting acid. "Er... well just one..." He mumbled, still tugging at his arm a bit uncomfortable. "What will happen if he still doesn't like me and starts having acid spit?" Because it didn't seem a good idea to have him himself with it, nor out of it. Afterall... he sometimes chewed on things.

Peri thought for a moment. "I dunno... keeping him muzzled like that would reduce the acid, though it would still ooze out some... and probably eat through the muzzle. Maybe those pills will keep him sedated enough to keep from using it? Or at least not a lot... You could always check with the techs. They make lots of odd stuff at times..." He thought back to that powder they'd made for Nibal, some nutrient thing he needed... little did the man know that it was actually the reason for the boy's toxicity...

Again he waited quietly for the advice, nodding a bit at the mention of how it might ruin the muzzle. "I thought that maybe..." He mumbled, once more eyeing the dragon. "I'll ask the techs later when I see them." He added, obviously taking the advice to heart and offering the teacher a smile. "Thank you for answering the questions, Mr. Coleman." He faltered a few seconds, eyeing the dragon who was still aiming for the harness. "Flower, time to go home. Um... if you come along straight home maybe Ha will give you a snack?" At least he could try to make the dragon like him?
And yet the dragon only offered a low grunt, glancing up at the child from his clawing at the thing with a low hiss, obviously not interested in a maybe. But still starts to merander along, offering Peri a quick hiss for good measure before practically stumbling into Revon in making his way to the door before catching himself and following up with a hiss for the boy as if it was his fault. Before the boy held the door held the door for him.
