Angeni of truth
He does not have an "magical" ability, he just knows with every part of himself that he is being lied to.
Chapter 1 --> As a foal:
He was loved as a child, brought up to treat everyone and everything with respect. It was during his childhood that he came to realise he had a gift in telling if others were actually telling him the truth or not, it saddened him to learn that even his parents lied, or appeared to. So he made a vow that he would one day search the world to experiment with his gift fully.
His siblings (three sisters and two brothers) were different to him, they tended to stay away from him as they got older afraid that he would tell their parents the truth when they got into trouble because he never spoke a lie, he simply couldn't (would rather just stay silent).
Chapter 2 --> The start of adulthood:
Once his wings were stronger he finally tookd flight onto his first adventure, he slowly met a great variety of Soquili from the good to the bad, yet every single one of them seemed to lie to him. It was disheartening to the extent that he simply stopped mentioning when someone had lied, holding onto the belief that they must have a good reason for lying in the first place.
He returned home to find that two of his siblings had died attempting to save a small herd of normal soquili who had been cornered by three skinwalkers, the story that reached them via his sister (who survived) was that the skinwalkers had also lost their lives. He never returned home after this, it struck him harder than he showed anyone.
Chapter 3 --> His heart break:
During his exploration he came across a mare who had caught his interest, over a period of months he attempted to court her, bringing her gifts, taking her to places special to him and trying to make her happy. Yet he would venture off on his own (as it was faster) to gather rare foods to indulge her, when he returned to her one day she lay on the ground dead, blood covering the immediate ground, a gash across her neck and along her body, yet the species was not obvious so he would never be able to avenge her death.
After this he went into hiding for a long time, living in silence until one day he decided he needed to try again. After this all of his encounters were short, hurtful to him, yet he kept trying.
Over the years the pain became bareable as he supressed the memories. But the tortured him in flashbacks every now and then.
Chapter 4 --> A new start:
One day he meet an interesting character who showed him hope, her words had been laced with a truth he could not understand. Yet before he left she also lied to him, but he felt it was 'for his own good' it was with this new hope that his eyes now saw through. A happiness returning to his soul.

Ninja of the Kamiorchi tribe.
They all have wolf familars (I will be getting him one shortly).
Chapter 1--> Crushing blow:
Sofiel was only a child when the great attack occured, it was during this raging war that he lost his parents and older brother, leaving him alone. It was concidered an honour that his family had all died defending him and the rest of the tribe. In truth this just made Sofiel feel unworthy, believing he had not been strong enough to fight along with the fallen warriors. It was after this that he stopped communicating, he would mainly grunt and only speak when actions could not indicate what he wanted to say.
Chapter 2--> Training:
With a fresh determination to 'prove himself' he started training longer, harder and faster than anyone else, mastering more techniques than his classmates. Eventually he moved up the ninja ranks until finally he was considered to be one of the great masters, in toe with the leader herself. Yet this did not stop his training, he did not see it as a enough.
Chapter 3--> Games of trickery:
One day to test himself he snuck into a neighbouring ninja village to touch their flag and then leave. It was then that he first lay eyes on his future mate, her beauty knocked him off guard and he was seen by one of the villagers, retreating swiftly he returned to his home. They had identified him easily from the stories and placed a reward on his head for his death. In that instance he was forced by the tribe leader to hide in a new identity until the situation was resolved by a more peaceful course.
Chapter 4--> Hide in plain sight:
Given silly missions like plant and bug collection he would wander into the territory of the very neighbouring tribe that wanted him dead, speaking freely to the locals in an attempt to hide his true self. Each word burnt like acid in his throat but his act was well practised, he needed to be the opposite to his truth.

His vow:
I will protect you with my life,
The waves and creatures shall not be harmed while I still have breath in my lungs,
This is my calling, my duty and my honour.
To serve and protect until my day is done.
Chapter 1--> The beginning:
His Mother brought him up, he knew very little about his Father other than he had been a brave warrior. He longed to one day meet him, yet as time passed he knew the likelihood of him being dead increased, accepting that he would never meet his Father he lived with the lessons given by his Mother. She had been a valiant and brave creature who commanded the respect of all those around her, she was caring and loving yet powerful enough to protect the things she loved. He wanted to grow up to be equally rounded.
After she passed away she granted him the power to be the guardian of the Ocean, and honour that he respected and became determine to fulfil to the best of his ability in order to make her proud of him. He spent many years exploring his domain, caring for wounded sea life and creatures, cleaning the waves up of any debris from trees and other forms of natural pollution.
Chapter 2--> Struck with Tragedy:
He rarely ventured away from water, except one day he heard terrible screams and cries for mercy. Instinctively he jumped into action towards them to find a Skinwalker terrorising a young Mother and her three foals. Disgusted his leapt into action, but he was too late to save the Mother. All three of the foals were taken to a safe location so that they could grow up in peace and harmony, and although he could never replace their Mother he did try to check up on them whenever he had the opportunity to.
Now he mainly watches over the Ocean, he enjoys meeting new people and seeing new places yet until he finds ‘the one’ he will always feel completely tied to the Ocean and its mighty waves.
Chapter 3--> Love:
He ventures now and then, one day he found Sengdroma. Due to her quiet nature he was unable to get her name (she never spoke til their second encounter) so he called her Moon due to his connection with the night sky and the Moon. He met her parents after which he spent the night with Moon for the first time.
Chapter 4--> Sofiel/Hidden Guardian:
He escorted Moon to meet Sofiel so that he could train her to be the best she could be, secretly he kept checking in on her to make sure that she was doing well. His goal was to learn her weakness so that he could help her complete her training.
Personality: His descriptive word is 'Serene' but his interpretation of that is he is not bothered by the troubles of the world. He says very few words unless he finds someone who is connects with, and is usually found grunting with distaste when he does not like the situation.
He knows that he hansom and does not react well to people tell him as he simply believes that they want something from him, yet with that said he would help an innocent without a second though, he would just do it with attitude and mainly silent.

Bio: When she was a young cub her parents where visiously attacked by a Kalona while attempting to get to their babies. In a rage of red they where all killed, yet just as the Kalona squared up with her he was struck down by Maion. He saved her, and since she had no name he called her Elijah, it was only after giving her the name that he discovered it was a masculine name.

Chapter One--> The origin of pain:
Estelle was always fascinated in the night sky, there was something about it that always captured her imagination, she loved the lights danced spectacularly over and over again in the river to be carried away to the sea. They twinkled with such essence. Her family tried to understand her yet there was always something missing, something they never quite understood. So she ran away, to a place where the stars shone with even more grace than her families’ home. A place where she could finally call home, a place to share with others. A magnificent field with a gentle bumbling brook trickling through the line like a silent snake.
Chapter two--> Standing on her own two hooves:
As she grew up she learnt the ways of nature, caring for the world around her and learning the positions of the stars like the markings on her fur. She felt reassured when the stars where out, like her world of worries were simply released into space to be forgotten and replaced by relieve and happiness. Yet as the nights grew longer in her mind her heart grew lonely, a small sorrow of longing crept in. She longed to find someone who she could share the wonders of the universe with, the wonder of the stars that sparkled above and the moon that shimmered endlessly in the sky.
Personality:
Estelle is a considerate and adventurous mare, although she is afraid of commitment due to her foalhood. She enjoys company when it passes, but doesn't make lingering connections, as she tends to stay in the only place she considers to be "safe" her home in the field. She is a very sociable, flirtatious and sweet mare.
What I am looking for:
I want to RP out--> Blast into her Past, I want to delve into her past a little and have the chance to RP it out with someone. After she left home she travelled for a bit and I think that it would be great for her to have found someone who travelled with her who then eventually betrayed or abandoned her for some reason, this will give her more depth as to why she finds it hard to make lingering connections. This would be a LONG RP!Friends |

Chapter 1--> His twisted past:
Once upon a time he was a normal soquili until he ran into some trouble and became cursed. He dislikes the Angeni feeling that their kind punished him with their strange sence of justice.
Chapter 2--> The curse:
As he completed the assignment he was cursed with he slowly started to lose his mind, slowly becoming more and more claimed by the shadows.

LEGEND OF STYX
In Greek mythology, the "River Styx" (Greek: Στύξ also meaning hate, detest) was a river which formed the boundary between Earth and the Underworld (Hades). It circles Hades nine times. The rivers Styx, Phlegethon, Acheron and Cocytus all converge at the center of Hades on a great marsh. The other important rivers of Hades are Lethe and Eridanos[citation needed]. Styx was guarded by Phlegyas, who passes the souls from one side to another of the river. In other versions, Phlegyas guarded Phlegethon, one of the other main rivers of Hades. Sometimes the ferryman was called Charon.
The gods respected the Styx and swore binding oaths by it. Zeus swore to give Semele whatever she wanted and was then obliged to follow through, resulting in her death. Apollo (who is sometimes confused with Helios) similarly promised Phaëton whatever he desired, also resulting in his death. Gods that did not follow through on such an oath had to drink from the river, causing them to lose their voices for nine years. According to some versions, Styx had miraculous powers and could make someone immortal/invulnerable. Achilles may have been dipped in it in his childhood, acquiring invulnerability, with exception of his heel, which was held by his mother in order to submerge him. His exposed heel thus became known as Achilles' heel, a metaphor for a weak spot.
The ferryman Charon is in modern times commonly believed to have transported the souls of the newly dead across this river into the underworld, though in the original Greek and Roman sources, as well as in Dante, it was the river Acheron that Charon plied. Dante put Phlegyas over the Styx and made it the fifth circle of Hell, where the wrathful and sullen are punished by being drowned in the muddy waters for eternity.
The adjective Stygian means "of or relating to the River Styx", and may also refer to anything that is dark and dismal. |
