The sun sifted into the den where her parents and siblings slept, she lay in the full sun absorbing the rays just as a flower would, turning her pale eyed gaze towards the sunshine making her soft yellow markings shimmer. She stood slowly - a ghost like form in the bright light of day as she moved upon silken silent paws into the day.

Taking a deep breath Allium let out a slow pleased sigh. It was a beautiful day and she was very ready to go out and see if she could do anything towards the task she had set herself. To get her mothers sight.

Samawi rose not long after Allium, getting to his paws and stretching lightly. It really was a nice day, he decided as he aimlessly wandered out of the den. Upon seeing his sister, he smiled and trotted over to her, nosing her absently.

"Hey Allium."

The pale female smiled at her brother as he joined her in the sun, she nuzzled him gently and let a purr roll over her lips. "Hello brother," she whispers her pale lilac eyes smiling at him. "I thought everyone was still asleep." She whispers her voice airy and gentle, as if speaking too loud would waken the world let alone her family.

"I woke up right after you did, sister," Samawi whispered back, shifting to gently groom his sister's fur.

She smiles lovingly at her brother enjoying the gentle groom though her ear twitched a little. "Samawi, have you, have you ever wondered why mama can't see us? Father says it is because she is blind. I don't understand why Samawi."

"I guess... You know how we can't see each other at the night, before the moon rises? Maybe it's like that for her all the time," Samawi said lightly after a moment of thought. "But I love her even if she can't see us."

Allium huffed a bit. "I love her too Samawi." She pouted, feeling her brother must feel she did not love their mother as much as he did. She loved her very much, she just wanted to be able to look in to her mothers eyes and for her mother to look back, to gaze upon her and her siblings. "I just would like her to see us, I bet she would like that too.

"I'm sure she'd like it to. But I think she's gotten used to not being able to see," Samawi said lightly, shifting closer to his sister and nudging her cheek softly.

Allium looked at her brother and tilted her head a little. Maybe he was right but she couldn't accept that her mother didn't want to see them. "There must be a way for her to see us Samawi, there must be!"

"Maybe if you pray to the gods, she'll be able to see us some day," Samawi hummed thoughtfully, tufted tail swishing behind him.

The gods. Now there was a thought, what if she prayed to the gods and the gods said yes, their mum would be so pleased. "You have to helps too Samawi. You have to pray extra hard and we can get mama her sight so she can see us!"

"Alright. I promise, I'll pray every morning and every night to the Gods," Samawi said, smiling and licking his sister's cheek affectionately.

Allium smiled her pale lilac orbs gazing off on to the horizon. Now the idea of gods was in her head she couldn't help but expand upon the idea at hand. "You think if I found a god and asked them real nice like they would give mama her sight?"

"I'll bet if they could they'd do it!" Samawi replied, grinning widely and getting up to stretch.

Allium nodded and stood pouncing her brother. Thanks to him she had given herself a quest, she would find a god and get her mother her eye sigh. "I'll race you to that big tree!" she giggles pouncing off her brother and racing for the large acacia.. For now it was play time but tomorrow she would search for the gods.

"Don't be a sore loser when I win!" Samawi called, smirking and eagerly racing after his sister.
