ok, i figured i can baste my peasants top together until i can ket my sewing machine. first off...good idea?
second off, it says
right sides together, pin sleeve to blouse front and back. stich seams to reinforce seams stich over firt stich.
i dunno...i think i need to scan in the thing to show you want i'm having problems with.
doe anyone have atira's fashions Parie's Peasant Blouse by chance?

If you're going to handstitch your shirt, make sure you do a good job - don't just baste the pieces together or it will fall right off of you! There's nothing wrong with handsewing; it just takes a lot longer to do.
As for whatever you're having trouble with, you haven't actually stated what your problem is, so it's hard for me to help you figure out how to fix it.

yeah i had the words but then it was all blech!
but my problem is the directions. it has a diagram and like i think i said before, its hard to explain if you don't have it infront of you.
but my other question is making a casing for elastic. i know you pin the elastic around the area all streached out. but then what?
i am only basting it so that i can get it to gether and let it take less space.

To make a casing, just turn up the edges like you would on a hem, but make sure that you're making it wide enough to fit the elastic. When you sew the hem, leave a space unsewn. Then thread your pre-measured elastic through, sew the ends of elastic together, and finish sewing together that little bit of casing you left undone.
