Ye are the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid, neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify yor father which is in heaven.
I think I did OK, but I can't check it because I forgot the scripture reference.

No man can serve 2 masters for either he will hate the one and love the other, or hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

And the king shall answer and say unto to them, verily I say unto you, as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Krego-sama XO yer a much better LDS person than I am. lol I don't have a choice about going, lol. My parents force me. Well, I'd probably go anyway even if they didn't, even though I have huge circles round my eyes and my spots are making a comeback from the early mornings. Either seminary or the new school. It doesn't help they both started at the same time. I can't remember the simon bar-jona one or the flesh and bones one, they're too long.

I'm gay so I might feel a little out of place. Most LDS people are pretty close minded about that kind of thing from what I've seen.

A friend of mine came out recently and her parents are Ok with it, but they've asked her not to tell anyone at church in case she changes her mind or something. My parents are very, very close minded about it.

The Mormons around here (aside form hating me, personally) have seemed to integrated into not condoning or disapproving of homosexuality. However, I don't know what LDS is in correlation to the standard "mormon" so, y'know. XP

A Mormon doing the right thing would be much more friendly than it seems a lot of them are. People just have a bad habit of becoming full of themselves when they think they've found truth where everyone outside their religion is obviously wrong.

I can't count the number of lessons in YW they've taken to bashing certain people, especially homosexuals. I don't even dare say, "What happened to not judging other people?" because recently my church leaders have taken to making me feel as if I'm around 2 feet tall when I say something. I may not be right all the time, but I thought you were supposed to respect people and their opinions.

I may not be right all the time, but I thought you were supposed to respect people and their opinions. I know! It's like this Catholic guy I know continuously bashes homosexuality, abortions and other relgions basically because "The bible says it's wrong". Never mind how many times it's been altered and how each person should interpret it for thyself. It drives me cray, mostly, because most people of the general faction say "Judge not" and then leave their sermon to promptly begin discriminating. If I were Jesus, I'd totally be angry. But, y'know. /end to latenight rant.
