The day ran past so fast, almost as if Ama had dreamt it. It felt like it never had occured and she did not find the surprising. With nothing to do and a lack of company, Ama actually quite enjoyed the silence. It has been a while since shes got sometime by herself. Lately, she had run into many others. She has seen what a flutter was, what an 'oo-es-dia' was, and also met a soquili that was blind. She may have met more but her lack of memory got the best of it. A silent night found its way to the soquili lands, quiet. Nothing seem to be around for miles, but that was often not true. Ama found herself onthe path of the forest, wandering aimlessly, not sure what she is looking for. Nothing really. Ama had heard rumors that the more 'dangerous' ones lived deep within the forest. Her heart thudded loudly aginst her chest, beating a quicker pace than it was a few seconds earlier. She tried to believe it was a 'rumor' only to calm herself and make sure she wont bolt out of the forest like an extreamly frightened deer. Ama wanted to try and be brave, but how was she suppose to accomplish that? The turquoise mare needed confidence and at least some courage. Her heart clearly heard in her ears, Ama slowed her pace and tried to keep the clicking of her hooves silent. It was so in case anyone was nearby. Her coat glowing more than ever tonight, the moon's light had some kind of special effect on her this lonely night. Looking almost like a worm on a hook baiting a fish, Ama stopped and gulped. Looked from side to side and decided perhaps she should find a place to rest. Getting rather late. Time was hard to tell when it got pitch dark. Her eyes luckily adjusted a few minutes before and now she could make out somewhat of each object and plant. Random wild animals would crawl here and there. Sometimes across her path, eyes reflecting light, they glowed red or bright gold. That just sent a chill down her spine.
When she slept, onless she was with someone trustworthy, she always found a place to hide, then fall asleep. Tonight perhaps between a huge boulder and a bushy bush. That would help. There were bushes but no boulders. Then maybe inbetween two bushes. As she was deciding, something fell and hit the searthy ground, sounds like a crack too. Ama frozed, heart speeding faster. Slowly turning, she saw nothing and blinked a few times. After a few more blinks she finally decided it was probably her mind playing trick on her, or at least it was just an acorn falling from the clutch of a squirrel's paws.

The mare was antsy. It was almost painful to watch. Why would any such creature come so deep into the woods if they were going to jump at every sound? The woods were as alive with life at night as it was during the day, perhaps even more so if truth be told. It was never quiet. He had to admit that he was curious what would bring a mare out here. Perhaps some respect could be given for plunging head first into a situation that was obviously scaring the piss out of her, though not quite so literally. It wasn't like he had anything better to do, either. Succubus was nagging him constantly so he had no pressing need to go home anytime soon. The large Kalona stepped out from the shadows and walked over to the mare, his chains clinking against each other and any rocks as he passed them by. He was larger than most stallions, something that he had always been proud of. It came in handy when he needed to kick some a**. Still, despite his size and his temper, he was a gentle stallion. A little rough around the edges but nothing as dark as most of his kind. "Don't you know not to go into such places unchaperoned? There's enough Kalona and Skinwalkers in these parts that would make quick use of you as a meal." Once he neared her, he lowered his head in a bow. "Wrath."

Everything was silent at first, but suddenly clicking of chains were heard. Ama could hear something coming clower. It spoke and what it had stated was something she feared the most. Ama had wanted to cry, so Spinel had not lie and the more dangerous ones did live in here. What was she to do now? Cranking her head slowly towards whoever it was, when she had looked at him, his head was bowed down. But his wings gave him away. She could recognise such wings from anywhere. Gasping Ama took steps back, trembling uncontrollably. This is the end. This is a demon. A kalona. Her heart thudded in her ears louder and louder. The turquoise mare could feel her legs shaked with her, tail tucked inbetween her legs. She was ready to bolt but that was no point since he'd gladly run or fly after her and play a little with his night meal. Kaloan were dangerous, Ama knew but she never thought they were so big. This one was huge, he had dangerous looking chains stashed around him. Ones that look like they'll kill you if he chooses to whip her. Ears flatten on her head, she couldn't lift her hooves to bolt. Anchored down by fear perhaps. His back legs looked to be covered with cloth, that held blood stains on them. This gave Ama more trembling, were these stains from his own legs, or the kill of others.
They say when you are about to die, your life flashes before your eyes. Ama waited for that moment, that moment where she could see her past again. Perhaps even remember her parents or anything that could help her out why she was left alone in this world. His wings seem to drape over her and block out the moon light. A shadow loomed over the shaking one and she dare not to talk. Feeling a little pool form at the bottom of her eyes, she wanted to let the tears slip out but tried to pull them back as that may make the Kalona want to play with her a bit 'cause she was entertaining him with fear. They were disgusting creatures who enjoyed pain in others. Ama had wanted to get this over with once and for all, no suffering, although if one chooses to eat the other, the one eaten will die and suffer very slowly....Ama gave out an almost blood curling scream, and tears started rushing down her cheeks. She fell onto her bottom then soon flopped onto her sides, everything suddenly blurred and went dark.
