Outside of the den, doing what he did most days, wait for his father to wake up. If it is one of the many things he learned about his father was; never wake him up unless it was an absolute oh-my-god-the-den's-on-fire emergency. Otherwise, he would get a scolding and be on his father's bad side which was the last thing he wanted! Maybe it was odd for males to be Daddy's boy, but he surely was. While he was here with him, he did whatever he was told and behaved to be on his father's good side. Though, his influences were not hindered. The little cub did have a tendency to stare at females whom pass by, he wondered why, but they were very... interesting.
Looking at his paws to pass time, he was curious where his siblings were, though there were other things to do, he just wasn't coming up with activities. Constant glances back back at the den at the shadowy figure of the golden lion whom many of the Pride Landers knew quite well as the grandson of the late king and queen and the father of many throughout the lands. Actually, there were sometimes cubs that were around here that weren't even his siblings. Cousins likely. The youth never had the courage to ask the older male who they were, where they come from, and if they were gonna be around a lot. Actually, he was more interested in winning his father's favor.
With a yawn and a stretch, Kaien sprawled out to be warmed up by the mid-morning sun.

Auri'etalpalli had little fear when it came to rousing his father in the early hours of the morning. He swore he was the only one brave enough to wake Ezeoha up if he wanted something. Of course, he absolutely adored his father, just as much as his other siblings. He just didn't see why Ezeoha spent so long getting his 'beauty' sleep. There were things to do, people to see, stuff to explore! Ezeoha wasted half the day away getting his rest, and that meant that the siblings had to take care of themselves during this time. The only thing that could truly rouse Ezeoha was an emergency.
And right now Palli's emergency was that he hadn't seen his girlfriend lately. His father had laughed at the development, which was why Palli had been keeping it a little secret from his siblings. He didn't need more laughter, because he liked his girlfriend. She was pretty, and dark, and had just a bit of spirit. Better yet, she had agreed to be his girlfriend. Palli had never thought it would be so easy! He thought you had to work a lot on getting a girlfriend, but apparently that wasn't so. Now that he had one, he wasn't letting her go.
It made him somewhat superior to his siblings, at least in his mind.
The lion cub exited his father's den, golden bangs flopping in front of his eyes, so it was difficult to first spot Kaien. "You know, there are better things to do then wait for dad to get up. It'll be a while yet. Let's go play."

Kaien jerked his head up, looking back at his brother. Well, at least someone was up to talk and play with. Whenever they did come to see Ezeoha, Kaien was usually tired to play right away and went inside for a nap, by then, everyone would have been gone to do their own things, father included. But he was determined that one day, he will do something with his father if it was the last thing he did. Hopefully, that will never have to happen. "I wasn't really waiting for him, you know. I was just waiting for someone to offer to go play," The brown cub raised to his feet and nodded. "Come on, lets go then."
Kaien took the lead and started off, looking about as to what to do. There were a herd of zebras off in the distance. The trumpeting elephants were farther off. There was a tree full of birds close by they could scare off. Looking at the sun and considering the hour and the fact that father was still sleeping...
"It's prime hunting time. The lionesses are out right about now..."
He quietly murmured. Meh, maybe Palli wouldn't care if the lionesses were out, they were much older than they were and they could be boring sometimes. Where were the other Pride Land youths?
"So what do you think we should do, Palli?" Jumping side to side. "Tag?" Running in place. "Race?"
