I have a question about the next Morning Musume leader.
So they pick the next leader by age, correct?
Although Risa is sub-leader, Junjun is the second oldest member of MM (the third oldest to join in the history of MM, but that's not important). So does that mean that when Takahashi graduates and pursues a solo career like we all know she will, Junjun will become sub-leader? (What a wonderful leadership that would be. I love Risa/Jun) Or, and I hope this isn't the case, if Risa leaves as well...
What do you think the likeliness of this happening would be?

well, if they do follow the age rule, junjun'll be it. but i personally think this next one will be an exception. i think risa's gonna be the next, being the present subleader and all... 3nodding

good question be interesting to find out
i feel that risa and ai be both graduate together
which then would leave it for junjun
junjun would be another captain not leader but who knows
i guess we will just have to wait and see
anything could happen confused

If they do go by age for this then when/if ai graduates Risa would automatically become leader.... the only thing is, JunJun, i feel doesn't have enough experiance to become sub-leader/leader but the other members just aren't leader material.....it's a tricky one.....

And there is a good chance she'd probably decline the offer anyway and give it to Eri or Sayumi... (I think that's what happened in C-ute)
I think it would be cool if Junjun did become leader. Maybe that's why the eighth gen aren't getting any solos. Because Tsunku is saving that for the reign of Junjun, where he'll bring back the glory of Morning Musume with new, stronger vocalists, more personality, a funny new TV show, and better songs. xD
Ah... One can dream.

They wouldn't go by age, they'd go by seniority, just like with Miki, she was older than Yossie, but Yossie was her senior. Then when Yossie graduated she became the leader because she had more seniority than Aichan, until she decided to leave. So if Ai graduates without Risa, Risa woul be leader and Kamei would be Sub-leader, But If both Ai and Risa Graduate together, Kamei would be leader and Sayu would be sub-leader. JunJun wouldn't be leader or sub-leader for a while, especially because she's chinese, there's a language barrier, even still as Sayu said on her radio show.

I've said it before; I really hope that Jun becomes leader someday.
Not next; after Niigaki (who I hope stays around for a while) I'd want Kamei, but it'll likely be Tanaka....?? D:
It pretty much is, anyway, but. xD
As long as it isn't Koha or Sayu or Micchi.... >_>
Not yet.
Jun couldn't be leader yet, I think.
But eventually, I think it'd be great. xd

I doubt reina would be leader until Eri And Sayu leave because she's the youngest of the three. But I think Koha would be a weird leader, Mitssi could probably be sub-leader one day because thats all I can see her as at the moment, I can't really see Jun or Lin taking leadership roles, even though their some of my faves.

Hmmm... I can't really sya anyone else seems like leader material other than Ai... I guess I'm just very used to her. xd But as long as Kusumi doesn't ever become leader, I'm good. sweatdrop She is one of my favorites, but I think I'd be driven insane if she were leader. Momusu doesn't suit her incredibly well...

I think the most suitable for being leader would be Reina, as she seems the most bad a**, but dont read that as a compliment because I hate her. razz
Actuall, heres what I think which members would make good leaders /subleaders:
Ai: Subleader (too shy xp)
Risa: Leader (outgoing, peppy and just seems like a good leader)
Kamei: Subleader (again, too shy and not really responsable)
Sayumi: Leader(shes badass)
Reina: Leader (badass)
Kusumi: Leader (seems more like a leader than a sub, thats gonna be a horrible era. <-<)
Mitsui: Subleader (cant see her as leader...)
JunJun: Subleader (language barrier, though she will improve in time, cant see her as leader)
LinLin: Leader ( whee )
as for who I think is gonna be leader, when Ai leaves, Risa as leader and Kamei sub, when Risa leaves, Kamei as leader and Reina as sub instead of Sayumi because she wants it more

I would say that, if ai and risa dont graduate together, risa is the most logical choice for the leaderrole, she has seniority, plus she can both be outgoing, but at the same time she can contain herself, given what they do at that moment.
After risa, i think reina might be next, even though i dont like her hello!project-personality, she has a good singing voice though.
