 Eros was drinking a lovely punch that Harley had given him and it was quite good. When he had moved into the house the other's had warned him against her but so far she seem like such a nice fox and generous too, freely giving him the punch.
He was on his third cup and he felt really relaxed. For the last few day, he had been on edge but at the moment he felt wonderful. The fears and reservations that had been circling in his head where finally gone and he had to let out a content sigh.

 Riot thought it was odd, the way Joker wanted to visit Harley that day. But he didn't complain, seeing as it would get him near his ever favorite Eros...
However, Joker had offered him something as they left the house. Riot didn't know what it was, only he was too busy thinking of the winged male to notice what he was drinking. He gave a soft sigh as his energy seemed to become heavy, causing him to pause in his energetic bouncing long enough to spot the beloved Eros, but he didn't seem to notice Joker had gone home halfway through travelling, complaining of the distance.

Eros was curled on the couch, his focus was on his drink and so he hadn't noticed Riot enter the room or the smirking Harley who had allowed the other male in. His thoughts had drifted to the last few days and all the foxes he had met. He had only talked to Volpe for a few minutes but he had seemed like someone he could be friends with. Phaidra was quickly becoming his best friend and he couldn't be happier about it. He was glad Warren had introduced them, even if it hadn't worked out the way Warren had wanted. Then there was Riot.
Eros wasn't sure what he felt about the fox except that he made Eros nervous. His parents had never been the touchy feely sort and so Eros wasn't used to such open affection. Letting out a shaky breath, "What am I going to do?"

"What do you mean?"
Riot asked rather late, seeing as he'd helped himself to four cupfuls of punch and was making his way to the couch with his fifth. He seated himself calmly next to Eros, smiling softly as he added, "Sorry for not tackling you, but I'm just in the mood today...."

Eros' eyes widened dramaticly and he almost spilled his drink, "Riot?! What are you doing here? "
Closing his eye, Eros calmed himself down and finally Riots words sunk in and Eros' drink loosened tongue replied, "Oh thank the stars! I hate it when you tackle me. It's great you like me and all, but why must you pounce on me? It makes me uncomfortable and all I can think of is trying to get away. "

Riot shrugged and sipped his punch before replying, "Honestly, I don't know. I've done it for as long as I remember, and no one's really hated it that much... I suppose I could be calmer, if it'd be easier for you to get along with me..."

"It would, it really would!" Eros nodded quickly but had to stop himself because it was causing him to get dizzy. Closing his eyes again, Eros swayed a bit and ended up leaning against the closest thing to him, which happened to be Riot.
Eros' head was resting on Riot's shoulder, and his eyes were still closed to help ward off the dizziness, "Hmmm...you never did say why your here."

Riot smiled, "Is it so wrong to visit someone?" His speech slurred a bit on the last word, and he shook his head softly to try and get rid of it. His head throbbed lightly, but he resisted the urge to place his head on Eros'.

"Oh, I guess not," Eros agreed, and brought his drink to his lips to take a drink. If he had been thinking strait he might have wondered how his once mostly empty cup had become full again but he wasn't thinking clearly and so he didn't care.
"Mmm, this is nice. You know your comfy? You are, you know, comfy and cute, but I can't tell you that. Not the comfy part but the cute part," Eros drunkily admitted.

Riot chuckled, "And why can't you?" HIs vision became blurred and he quickly blinked his eyes a few times, trying to clear it but to no avail. His cup seemed bottomless; the more of it he drank, the less it seemed to go down.

"Hmm?" Eros took another drink of his punch, "Oh! because it wouldn't be proper."
Eros scutted closer to get more comfortable but didn't give up his claim of Riot's shoulder, "My father wouldn't have stood for something like that."

Riot patted Eros' shoulder lightly, "And that's precisely why my parents won't talk to me..." He attempted to chug the rest of his glass, only to feel it heavier than it was before, "I haven't talked to them since the day I kissed a boy in front of them... back when I was little and thought it was normal..."

Eros attempted to nod again but quickly stopped when it caused not only for him to be dizzy but a headach to start as well. "I couldn't do that even if it was a girl. Were not supposed to show emotion, it's pointless and counter por- pra- productive."

Riot couldn't help but laugh a bit, "If you can't show emotion, then how will the person you want to be with know that you want to be with them?" He found himself resting his head on Eros, too dizzy and tired from trying not to slur his speech to get back up.

"Your not? They never told me that." Eros wasn't too sure on that part either, since his parents had only ever cared about science and their experiments. Showing emotions was considered silly and a waste of time and energy. He remembered his uncle explaining to him how his mom and dad where so similar that it became expected they would marry once they finished the project they had been assigned to. Not ones to dissapoint, once finished, they married and a few years later had Eros. They hadn't really wanted Eros and he had become more of a science experiment then a child. One in which the wanted results had failed.
Eros was feeling very warm and content, snuggled into Riot the way he was and he gave into the desire he wouldn't have if sober. He nuzzled and purred into Riots fur.
