INFO: So yea, new case... w00t! This was partially based off of MusicRaine's want for Relationship development. So blame her XPFOOF! MUST READ:There's a time skip of maybe couple of weeks to a month from the end of the Last case. Also, (For Raine) There will be a NCIS Valentine's Day Ball (yes, i know its not really V-Day nor anywhere near it... but it will prolly be that when this gets finished XD) **Note the New Banny, Punny Title, and New Layout biggrin D

EvidenceThe Crime will probably be at the NCIS Ball. Kril might be the one killed. Facts-Amy still lives in the "Safe House" -Edwards still gone for now, after escaping Bethesda and erasing the Mainframe of his name -WE ONLY KNOW Edwards first name, and rough details about his appearance -Presence at the NCIS ball is MANDATORY! (I will add to it so you can get a quick reference, cuz thats what screwed us up last time)

[I definatly like the new layout, hopefully we won't loose track of who knows what this time. So... are we starting at this ball thing? or the crime scene (or is the crime scene at the ball Oo)]

{I think the crime scene should be at the ball! 8D }
Walking into the Director's office, Gibbs leans against the wall next to the door. "I still don't like this Kril kid." he announces, arms crossed. It'd been a while since he'd last visited Amy, and the sight of the new guy sitting at her desk irritated him. He wasn't going to repeat his father's mistake, he wasn't going to allow Amy to become the new Kate. His brown eyes narrowed, growing darker as he stood more in the shadows. "And I demand you release the mandatory attendance to this Ball thing. The Navy doesn't need a ball for some stupid day that's all a scheme from some card store."

[[Oh... I like that.. Murder of an NCISer or navy guy in the middle of the ball?! I like it! biggrin ]]
Amy laid back on her "bed". She was hopefully going to go back to desk work tomorrow. She wriggled her shoulder, sling free, and rolled to a different position. Amy could still clearly feel the bullet, memories flooded her mind but she bit them back. Hm... Amy thought Valentines Day is soon. She wanted to do something with Jeth but they hadn't been in close contact since the accident. She sighed and grabbed her violin. One more day.

Jeth sat brooding at his desk. He had never paid much attention to the 'special occasions' that filled the calander, at least nothing beyond getting his family gifts twice a year. So the whole concept of making a big deal out of something like Valentines day was foreign to him. And normally, he would just ignore it and move on, however, Jeth was quite certian that whatever he thought of the day, he could tell women thought a lot differently. Specifically he was thinking of Amy. He really had not been able to see her much recently, but he was sure this would be important to her, and he wanted to do everything right for her. Only problem was he had no idea what to do. Glumily he thought about asking Tali, but he was not sure he was desperate enough to seek advice just yet.
Maya sighed wearily, she had been listening to the same complaints from Gibbs for weeks now, and she was beginning to tire of them. It was not like she wanted the ball either, heck she had already tried eveything she could think off to get out of it. she thought to herself. But the Sec Nav had informed her that as her agency was directly linked with the Navy, (and for some unknown reason had routinly skipped said event) this year it would be expected that the NCIS head office, in its entirety, attend the ball. "I've already told you Gibbs," She explained with more patience than she felt, "It's not my call." And I really wish it was, she added silently, not looking forward to a dance for a day designed for couples, when she had been single so long herself.

"Since when did I care about something like that?" he asked, leaning over her desk to stare her in the eye. "Fix it." demands, the typical Angry-Gibbs look plastered across his face, something he's inherited from his father. The majority of people and children would be frightened by such a look, though the director was more used to it than others were. Having worked with Gibbs as long as she had, the Director should be expecting such an action from Elray Gibbs.

Maya just returned his glare with an unsymathetic look of her own. "There is nothing I can do." She reiterated. "This is out of my hands Gibbs, and you're just going to have to life with it." She knew that this would not satisfy the team leader, but really, what was she supposed to do? "It's one evening." She added, although more to talk herself into it than Gibbs. "You're just going to have to cope with it."

Amy picked up her bow, and started playing a soft slow melody. She loved playing her violin and was sad that she couldn't for a long while (seeing as it required the use of both of her shoulders). Amy wasn't playing sheet music (that either she wrote or didn't write) like she usually did. The song was slow, emotional, and slightly sad and dark. She closed her eyes and became more entranced with the music, letting the notes flow from out of her mind. All the while, she imagined herself at the ball, floating around the place with Jeth. She slightly sighed knowing there's a possibility that he didn't like her like that. One can hope, right?

Tali made her way up to the squad room out of boredom. She was still fuming over the announcement of the ball. She hated those formal kind of things. She hated to admit it, but she just didn't wanna go because she didn't have a date (ToT). She found her brother sitting at his desk. "Hey" she sighed.

Startled out of his thoughts Jeth looked up at his sister. "Hey." He replied, then taking in her apperance, "What's eating you?" He asked, knowing just from the look on his sister's face that she was pissed at something. or someone he thought, desperatly trying to remember if he had done anything that might have pissed his sister off recently.

Slamming his fist on the desk, Gibbs is obviously not satisfied with this answer. "One less night sailing." he replies, almost as a threat. Standing up straight he turns to leave. "I'm tempted to show up dressed like a hobo. Just to see if they'll kick me out...." he grins to himself, finding this funny. slamming the door behind him, he is on his way back to the Bullpen. He wasn't expected to show up with someone, right? Shoving his hands in his pockets, he flips through images of the girls he knows, trying to think of one that would be worth asking.

"Eh I'm really not looking forward to this gay ball. I don't see what the point is, celebrating 'Love'" She said the word clapping her hands together looking off into the distance and batting her eye lashes. Then she looked sheepish and focused on some spot on her brother's desk. "Plus I uh, kinda um, don't have a date."

well there went that idea of asking his sister for advice. Jeth thought, she seemed to be having less sucess at love them him, and since he was clueless. . . "Yeah I know what you mean." He replied, as much as he wanted to take Amy, he still had no particular desire to attend a formal navy ball. "I uh, could find someone if you really don't want to go stag." He offered hesitantly, not really sure if his sister was upset because she had someone in mind, who would not take her, or if she was really just not wanting to go alone. He did have several friends from his military term who he kept in touch with, he could probably find her someone.
