Rules:
No oneliners, please.
Also, ask to join.
I would preffer a male vampire to join. I don't care if you are actually male, I would like to have a male character to join though.
My character is what some would call crazy, so don't be surprised by it.

Crazy? Some deemed it an appropriate title for the young woman. She was twenty-four and still resembled what she looked like in her teen years. She had lived on the streets for years, and she wore an odd assortment of clothing. Torn socks and the sleeves of a sweatshirt were on her feet and ankles. Baggy pants that were soiled and ripped and torn were tied around her waist with a bit of phone cord. Her shirt consisted of a bright red sweatshirt that was missing both sleeves and part of the collar. An old bedsheet that was ripped and torn was tied over her shoulders and then tied around her waist for more protection against the elements.
Standing in the center of the street the warm glow of the street light sent shadows across the limited area it covered. The street was often frequented by people better left in the shadows of society. CLosing her eyes as the rain fell down on her filth covered face she smiled. Her hair, which was waist lenght and bright blue, almost seemed to be brown. Streaks of the blue could be seen as the rain fell, but that was all.
Spinning in circles she laughed. "Pretty crystals falling!" she called out and opening her eyes to look at something off to her right. "No firefly's tonight, Edgar!" she told something that didn't exist. Edgar was her imaginary friend. He was one that she had had since she had began to live on the streets.
Even though he wasn't real she thought that he was. She gave him her food, her clothes, and her shelter. It was something she would do for anyone that was real, and to her Edgar was real. Even if people couldn't see him.

Gabriel Courtier took refuge on the brance of a tree as the gentle rain fell to the ground below. With one leg hanging down and another bent up on the branch, he closed his eyes for a moment, taking in the serene sound of the splattering liquid. However his moment listening to the steady beat of rain was disturbed by the splashing of a human.

With a slight rustle of clothing, his arm rose, bringing a lit cigarette to his mouth. It glowed crimson as he inhaled the sweet toxin, raising a brow at the unique being before him. Bringing his arm back down to the resting position upon his bent leg, Gabriel watched in amusement as the uniquely-dressed human danced, entranced by the falling 'crystals'. He chuckled slightly. How strange this mortal was.

She called many things on the street. Most of them, however, were not nice and so she stuck with the name she had been given by Edgar, which was Bobby. Bobby stopped her spinning, strands of blue hair sticking to her pale face as she glanced around worridly. "Edward?" she questioned turning in a circle trying to find her imaginary friend.
"Oh do please tell me you didn't go visit the squirels again?" she asked huffing and crossing her arms. So much for him staying around a whole night.

Gabriel's face widened with a toothy grin. Had she heard him laughing? Or was she really talking to her invisible friend? Perhaps he should reveal himself, if she didnt already know where he was. He thought for a moment. 'This is foolish. Do I really have time for this?' he asked himself. Playing with some crazy girl, what was he thinking? 'What am I thinking...? I have all the time in the world.' With another small chuckle, he gracefully jumped out of the tree, to stand up straight with one hand in his pocket and the other bent upward so he could take another puff from his cig.

Without the leaves of the tree to conceal him, Gabriel's features could be seen more clearly. Wearing black dress pants and a 'snazzy' vest over a white dress shirt, it looked as if he had just returned from a ball. His coat was draped over the arm with the hand in the pocket, and his black shoes shone with rain water. With a slight toss of his head, the few dark hairs that covered his piercing blue eyes flew backward to become one with the other ear-length hairs upon his head. 'Now that you see me human, what will you do?'

She didn't notice him until she spun about again. She almost completed the spin, but instead she put her foot down to stop herself, half the sock and piece of sweatshirt sleeve was hanging off her foot.
Bobby tilted her head to the side and leveled her eyes on him. The harder it rained the more dirt was washed from her hair revealing the bright blue color beneath. "Hello," she chirped. Everyone was a stranger to her besides Edward, but then she thought everyone was Edwards friend, therefor she was usually fairly friendly.

With a smokey exhale, Gabriel dropped his cigarette before smothering it with his shoe. 'Hello,' he casually answered in return. He tried with his might not to smile, as this creature before him was so comical, but there was little he could do to stifle another laugh as he looked her up and down. 'Poor girl,' he thought. 'How does she live like this?'

She hardly seemed to notice as she clasped her hands with some difficulty behind her back due to the sheet she had tied to her. Rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet she continued to watch him. "Are you a friend of Edgars?" she asked him curiously. Shortly after her eyes strayed from him to watch the rain, her mouth forming a small "o".

"A friend of Edgar's?" Gabriel repeated her. "Why sure, I guess you ca...." his voice soon trailed off as her attention was clearly not focused on him. Raising an eyebrow again, he sighed. 'Perhaps I should just take her down and be done with it.' Looking at her, he searched for any signs of a sense of reality. Eyes wandering like hers, his view soon landed on her neck. No one would miss her if he were to suck her dry, right? His teeth lengthened and his eyes sharpened like a cat's.

Edward doesn't ever let me meet any of his friends. He doesn't tell me why though," Bobby turned her eyes back to him with a large smile tilting her slightly pale lips upward. "Be careful of the cat," she said absentmindedly. There weren't any cats, but it seemed like she could see one.

At the girls innocent smile, Gabriel softened. He couldn't take such a childish life away. "R-right, the cat," he answered her with a slight grumble. 'I wasnt that hungry anyway,' he told himself. Now what was he to do? Combing back his hair with his fingers, Gabriel breathed deeply before placing both hands in his pockets. 'Perhaps I should just go home.' Turning, he slowly started to walk away.

"DO you know where Edgar is?" Bobby asked moving to follow him, the sock and sweatshirt sleeve sliding off of one foot without her noticing. They were soaked through so it wasn't like there was a temperature change, and both were so worn that it felt the same.
"He left and now I can't find him. He doesn't usually leave me when it's raining..."

Gabriel continued to walk, though it was apparent the strange young woman was following him. "I am sorry, I haven't seen your Edgar." He sighed and wondered if this was something that would continue through the night. "Why do you suppose he left you?" he asked, trying to amuse himself with conversation.

"He's not my Edgar. He's just Edgar. And I don't know why, or else I would know where he was," she said. "Last thing I heard from him was that there were some frogs in his shoe, but then he just kind of disapeared and BOOP there you were," Bobby darted ahead of him and walked backwards so she could watch him. "Your not a friend of Edgars huh?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 12, 2005 11:20 pm

Gabriel stopped for a second when the girl appeared before him before continuing as she walked backwards. Again he looked at her strange clothing, noticing her missing legging. Ingnoring her question, he asked, "Girl, are you not cold in this rain?" The rain still beat upon them, and his outer clothing was already soaked. The human, however, was drenched. "Here," he said as he offered her his coat. "You'll catch a cold if you dont keep warm." It mattered not if he was to get wet.
