Have you guys ever wished there was a pg 13 version of harvest moon?
I think the closest they ever got was Rune Factory.
I would die happy if they had a game with dialogue that is more for teens , like ( The World Ends With You ....any one play that before). As well as graphics that was a little less chibi and more realistic like runefactory.
Is it just me?
Thats my ultimate fantasy XD <---- total fan girl
note : yes I am a girl...my avi is a boy though....

Well HM has always had a few little slips here in there where there are some perverted comments or things that happen. Like in AWL when you try to milk the male cows he gives you a green heart. Like, so that wasn't an udder I was pulling on lol?
But I don't think they will ever make a completely PG13 or higher game because little kids will see the game and see the animals and the cute characters and rent it/buy it and then their parents wont be too happy when they see anything bad in it lol.
And I never liked Rune Factory... Bleh.
Edit - Lol.. I laughed at your siggy where it says I LOVE PMS. Do you really like PMS? I don't know anyone who likes that time of month pirate

I think it would be good that they made a PG-13 or higher HM. And Gery Gardens, I see you're point, but if the kids did rent/buy it, isn't it up to the parents to note what the heck their kids are playing? My sister let my 5 year old nephew play god of war not knowing there was a sex scene in it. So basically took the game out and gave it to me. Sure some kids won't listen to their parents but some would. The ones who do listen, will never play the game. The ones who don't listen, will play the game and learn what they never knew before (whatever the placed in the game). If they ever said it in front of parents or teachers, that is there fault and some parents won't fully believe that their child learned whatever they learned from a Natsume video. They'll probably think they learned it from older kids. But you are right that they will never make the game PG-13 and up.

Your little speech reminds me of when my mom let my little brother buy Grand Theft Auto, thinking GTA meant Greater Toronto Area.

Needless to say, mum took the game away.
But I agree with you though, that it's not the game companies' fault that kids are buying and playing the games.
And I don't think that Harvest Moon is going to have a Teen rated game in the series anytime soon. Although it would be pretty cool if they let you grow hemp. And just once I would like to hear Griffin say, "Dammit, Jack! Save some beer for the other customers!!"

I'm quite happy with Harvest Moon the way it is. So really, I see no reason to change it to PG-13. It is good without needing to add anything that would make it PG-13.

I like the current style of Harvest Moon but if for some reason they did decide to make a T or PG-13 rated game then I wouldn't really mind. [unless it turns out REALLY bad] I'd still love Harvest Moon.

If it was pg 13, it wont ber as much fun and education to young kids.
