So. The infamous debate. Come November, how are you going to vote? I know that most of you guys are Democrats, and then there are a few who are republicans, but how many of you have actually researched either candidate? I had a conversation with a friend today that made me want to look into what both of them stand for. Of course, I can't vote yet, but still I want to know which one I support and not just agree with my parents or my friends. That said, I'd like you all to take a look at each of these arguements against the candidate. Reasons Against McCain Reasons against Obama Please note the different style of reasons-- for the McCain article, the reasons are simply "McCain has not spoken out against this, he has not stated his position on this." On the Obama Article, the reasons are about his policies and remarks made in his speeches. Also, the writer of this article was a fan of Ron Paul, NOT John McCain. Opinions?

D: I'll read those while I'm in the mood to hate republicans.
I'm heavily for Obama. Like, I think McCain is an abomination to politics at the moment. CANT VOTE by 6 months EXACTLY but whatever ;-;
I'm HEAVILY researched. I think probably SMIDGENS less about McCain because i just get so ANNOYED at everything about him, but I'm DEFINITELY researched and educated. I know why I'd vote for Obama, and I know why I'd NEVER vote fo McCain.

Do we really have to have this thread? I mean, I usually go on Gaia to escape Political stuff. Oh well, here goes nothing.
McCain may have a heart attack, making Palin Pres. Thus it should really be Palin Vs. Obama.
And...Obama may try and steal the moon. Or something... I only watched his Convention so I know why not to vote for McCain... I was too lazy to watch his convention.

I'm not going to discuss politics here D; Most of the time politics chat = fights with people that I would never want to fight with. And that makes me sad ._.

The Retanator Chikorin Moonie I haven't decided for sure yet. I'm leaning more towards Obama though. Why? As far as I can tell? He seems like the better candidate for the future. Like I said though, I'm not set one way or the other yet. I need to do some research when I get the time outside of homework. oo;;

If you don't want to talk about politics, no one is going to force you, but I would like to discuss it with someone other than my father and mother.

What are these improvements?

I dislike both of them equally. Obama seems like a douche bag, and McCain just seems ridiculous.
I don't do research for my votes, I base my vote based completely on my appeal to the party/person. I don't care what people say, I'll vote for the most popular kid in class over the one who's more qualified because I like them better. It's just the way I roll.

Ginji of Thunder McCain may will have a heart attack, making Palin Pres. Hyuk hyuk. Anyway, Obama would probably get assassinated if he got elected as President. So it should really be Palin v.s. that one guy. I wouldn't pick either because I'm Canadian. Lol.
