The Barton Aquatic Life Center- or the Barton Aquarium, as it was more commonly called- had been open for but a couple of weeks. It was also conveniently a ten-minute walk from Mouse's current place of residence. And with Sylvest having the soul of an acquatic creature, it was no wonder that it was the second time this week that they were making a visit to this place. Good thing they only asked for an admission fee on weekends, and even then it was insanely cheap.

Mouse approached the door to the aquarium with Sylvest's usual death grip on her wrist. The octopus lad was brimming with joy, as could be seen with his bright blue extra arms. Last time he had spent over an hour just watching one angelfish make its way around the gigantic tank- what would be in store for him this time? He hoped that maybe an octopus would come out of its den and see him.

The lemur, on the other hand, wasn't at the aquarium to relax. He was after excitement and at the moment, he'd found it. A security gaurd was close behind as he dashed down the hall, darting between the groups of onlookers. Some focused on him, some focused on the tanks. His crime, he had jumped into the jellyfish tank to see if they smelled like jelly too.

Another activity in hopes that Eva would keep out of trouble. It seemed to be working so far. Freize was carrying the little joey- of course, who was curled up against his chest. The 'roo's eyes were fixed on the bluish-seeming glass, ears fully erect. Lookit alla the funny colored fish! He was fascinated. The only fish he ever saw was the ones he had seen Freize catch, and they were ugly-slimy gray. How wierd..

Freize's head turned at the sound of running- thank the gods for enhanced hearing, eyes darting around to find where the noise was coming from. Automatic response, really. He wasn't afraid there was some sort of chainsaw murderer running about in an aquarium.

So far, the aquarium trip was going as one would expect. Tranquil, relaxing, educational, a portly security guard chasing after a gray blur...

Waitaminute. That out-of-setting gray blur was somewhat familiar.

"Tea'n!" Sylvest called after initially jerking in surprise. His arms squirmed in excitement upon seeing someone he knew. It was, honestly, an action that might have repulsed some more haughty folk.

Mouse did a double-take and put her hand to her forehead. She hoped that whatever trouble Teagan was in wasn't a result of a rebellious streak making itself known in the lemur kid.

Tea spun on his heels and jumped, stepping lightly on the top of the gaurd's head to kick himself further up into the air. When he hit the ground, he kept running, skidding to a slow as he passed the woman and the familiar tot, "Heya Sylv, Mouse. Can't stop an talk!" With that he burst off at full speed again, hell bent on tiring the gaurd out rather than getting caught.

Of course, he had no clue what was going on. He just saw the familiar boy running, and a much older man following. Therefore, Freize took a slightly step back so as to bring himself closer, turning to face forward again. He would wait until they passed him, and then...

The joey perked up suddenly, pushing up so as to look over his Da's shoulder curiously. What was with all the noise...? He brightened as he first saw Tea, but then noticed he was currently busy running from someone. Then he frowned. Why was that big scary man chasing after his friend? How confusing.

Well, that was odd. But Teagan didn't have an evil glint in his eyes or anything, so Mouse suspected that nothing all too bad at happened. And here she was picturing him increasing the temperature in one of the tanks and boiling the fish or something... She really needed to stop thinking like such a pessimist. It might be bad for her health.

Sylvest, like Evarobby, had smiled widely and then retreated to a worried expression as Teagan made his quick stop. Why was he running so fast? He hoped he would be alright.

To Mouse's left was an Eden she thought that she recognized- maybe she saw him in passing at the project house once? Well, she might as well introduce herself now that they were about to make eye contact.

"Hi, there... I'm Mouse, and this is Sylvest. Do you two know Teagan, by any chance?"

Teagan skidded to a complete stop in front of one of the petting tanks and picked up a little sea turtle which he promptly shoved belly first into the gaurd's face. The gaurd stopped short of it and blinked at him curiously, "You're ah.. You're not going to hurt any of them right?" The young lemur shook his head, "Nope, sir." The gaurd simply sighed and walked back off to his post. This one wasn't causing any real danger, maybe some to himself. Teagan smiled and clutched the squirming turtle to his chest. Yes, another won battle.

The 'mutt relaxed as he saw his assistance wasn't needed- and then he started, turning to face Mouse all the way.. He managed a small smile and a nod of greeting, "Ah, hello. A pleasure. I'm Freize, and this is Eva. Erm, Evarobby, but we call him Eva.. I think we might have passed eachother once before..." He recognised the two immediately. He KNEW that he had seen them before. "Yeah, he's a playmate of Eva's..."

The aforementioned joey recognised Sylvest as well, and brightened yet again, waving towards him merrily. He uncurled his body and went to climb up onto his Da's shoulders, sitting up on them and pushing his hands into his hair to hold on. He was torn between hopping down and running to Tea and making a new friend. Hum... Decisions, decisions..

Mouse, after making triple-sure that Teagan wasn't in any serious trouble, returned the greeting nod. "It's nice to meet you, too. And I do believe that we've seen each other at the project house before. Only for a few seconds, though..." She turned to face the Eden. "And it's also a pleasure to meet you, Evarobby. You look kind of like a beach-bum version of Teagan."

Sylvest waved his left hand cautiously, not quite sure what to make of Evarobby. He did look a lot like Teagan, but with a less... energetic air about him. "Hi?" he decided to say after much deliberation. What an articulate fellow!

Teagan made his way over to the four, glancing around for his own family. Hmm, they probably went to go watch the stingrays. That was good, meant he would stay out of trouble with Ul. He had a bit of a sun burn glistening on his cheeks, he'd spent nearly half the day at the outdoor whale exhibit. With, the whales. He smelled like a mix of salt and dead fish, but it didn't bother him, even though he had lost a shoe earlier, he'd found it again so it was no big loss. As it was, he wasn't going to put this little turtle down. He wanted to keep it. So, when he reached the group, he held it out, pointing it toward Sylvest, and introduced it, "Meet Squirt!"

(*kicks himself*)

The runt cheered as soon as the other boy greeted him, waving once again before looking at the lady curiously... He looked like Tea? That was good! The lemur was his friend, so it was kinda good to the little fellow to hear that they looked alike. But then again, Eva-logic could be hard to understand. Mostly because he could never verbally explain it. He watched his older friend approach, ears swivveling towards the turtle being held out to the new boy. Whazzat? He wrinkled his nose. He'd never seen one before.

Freize smiled slightly, "He's a tree kangaroo.. I think that's what he was. Anyways..." He hesitated, not so good with conversation, "Erm... He hasn't been able to talk yet." He nodded slightly, and then shot a wary look to Teagan, "Should you be carrying Squirt around, Teagan?" His voice was more curious than accusatory. He never really reprimanded other people's kids, he just kind of explained why it was wrong in a gentle sort of way.. Or atleast he tried.

Sylvest recoiled in surprise- in a very similar way to how a turtle retreats into it shell- when Squirt was "introduced" to him. And Sylvest personally didn't think that Squirt enjoyed being so close to Sylvest's face, either.

"A tree kangaroo, eh? That looks about right," Mouse said, nodding. "And I'll bet he'll figure out how to speak eventually. And if not, there's more ways to communicate than just through speech, right?" She turned to Teagan with an expression of concern for the turtle he was holding. "You're... not going to take Squirt home with you or anything, are you? Turtles can be high-maintenance pets."

Teagan pouted, pulling the turtle back to his chest. "I could take care'a him. I take care'a Maxie an he's happy." He didn't know the turtle was a He, in fact it wasn't, but until he knew that, it would be the little turdle Squirt. Confused by Sylvest's reaction, he flicked his tail and stared for a moment, "Whatcha doin that for? Don't like Squirt?" With his wonderfully short attention span, he turned to face the familar man, "Why shouldn't I?"

The male shifted, thinking for a moment before looking towards the boy evenly, "Turtles can get scared very easily, you have to be more gentle with them... And you shouldn't take him away from here- he would miss his family and his home. Would you like it if someone came and took you away from your family and never let you go back?"

Eva wasn't listening, he was fascinated with the turtle now. It had been the same with Spiro's mouse, but this thing was big... And green! The little 'roo loved green.. He suddenly lifted himself up on Freize's shoulders and then hopped down, landing in a crouch. He straightened and made his way over towards Tea and the turtle, oogling it curiously.
