The littleish dog walked over to the pure grass it sniffed around looking for other dogs to play with. She enjoyed having friends but sometimes got annoyed cause they wouldnt stop staring at her. She was a good amount of tom-boyish dog. Her orange eyes shown in the bright light looking for some dog to play with. Her owner finally unhooked the leash and Butterscotch ran as fast as she could to get her heart pumping.

Kaev trembled with excitement. For once, the kennel decided to bring the dogs out to the park. He couldn't believe it. After so many days of escaping, is was ahrd to undertad that he was allowed to be here. Snick! Kaev glanced up at the sound. The leash that had attached him to the human had been undone. He was free. He bounded away, his fluffy tail held aloft. He steered carefully from his kennel mates as they interacted with other dogs. This was a time to have fun. Not listen to their typical boring conversations. Kaev only felt bad for the dogs that got caught listening. Off to one side, he saw a amber-orange Jack Russel running as well. He turned towards her and fell it synchronized steps. "Hey." He grinned. The crown pendant on his collar jingled with every step.

She was so excited to finally not be locked up away from dogs. She had been so bored just staying with her boring owner who just fed her and went to work. She wanted to be free and live life like a stray dog, and the dog park was a way to do it. She saw as a hyper bluish-greyish collie collided into her. She laughed and her tail wagged faster and faster. Hi!

Kaev kept in step with the smaller dog, even though he could have outdistanced her easily. "Come here often?" He turned his head slightly towards her. His words were jokingly sarcastic. But he couldn't help be curious. Is this what normals dogs did? Have their owners take them on walks to the park regularly? He wouldn't know. Cooped up with so many other boarders, he never exactly received personal attention. He didn't quite understand how he was here today either. Something to do with a massive influx of volunteers. Whatever that was, he liked it. It let him run around without a care.

Butterscotch looked up at the huge dog as he walked her pace. She tried to walk faster then him to seem a little bigger for some reason. She looked at him with her eyes glowing from the sunlight. Actually yeah you could say i come here often, my owner never lets me do anything so she takes me here and lets me mingle with dogs. She was the only dog in the house which mnade her so gloomy. She pounced up at a small critter flying and eccidently pounced on Kaev. Oops sorry..i love chasing bugs in my backyard.

Kaev grinned as he saw her slight increase her speed to surpass him. "You're lucky." He shrugged. Not an easy thing to do while in motion. "I live with a bunch of other dogs. The humans who take care of us can't exactly give us individual attention." Another shrug. "I was surprised when they took us out today." He laughed outright when she jumped into him. "Chasing bugs. That seems about right." Wasn't it? No one did it much in the kennel. No one did much of anything in the kennel.

Butterscotch looked up at the collie as he talked about how he never got to go outside. Wow must be tough having nobody to play with or talk too. She smirked at the tall collie. Well sometimes i wish i had your life, i feel alone every day and i hate it. She nudged him and chuckled.

Kaev shrugged. "There are other dogs around. I just don't get along with them usually." He glared at the ground quietly for a moment before looking back to the bright-colored Jack Russel. He shook his head sadly, a wistful smile on his face. "No, you don't. Believe me. There is nothing that any of us wouldn't give to have an owner that actually wanted us around. Most of us are boarders. Put up at whatever place our owners feel like it." A slight frown marred his usualy exerburant features. He grinned when she lightly bumped him. "Having an owner must be fun though, right?"

As Butterscotch looked at him she tried her best to bring a smirk on his face. Well im more of a welcomer but my life is not that good. My owners rarely home! I just want to...to RUN AWAY! She picked up his chin and smirked. She frowned for one second.
