So, we know both Bay Area teams are going to fire their coaches. The question is when. Silly Owners of the teams. Al Davis is old. He's not as good as he used to be and the Yorks.... They just don't know squat about football.
SO! Predictions!
Nolan is out if they lose to the Seahawks I say.
As for Kiffin... No idea. Haha.

As a 49er fan please let it be Nolan. The sooner we get rid of him the sooner we can get a competent coach in place. Marty Schottenheimer please

Personally I see Lane Kiffin going first. I don't see Mike Nolan being let go till the end of the season if the 49ers are bad enough. For Nolan to save his job, he needs to go at least 8-8 this year, but even then saving his job isn't guranteed.
Al Davis on the other hand doesn't give his coaches time to establish themselves, he needs to step back and let Kiffin have more control over his team. And I can see Kiffin being fired before the end of the season if the Raiders continue to stink.
Even though the 49ers lost on Sunday, their offense played much better than last season. They lost the game on two elements, Time of posetion, and turnovers. They still had over 290 yards of total offense, only twice last season if memory serve have they exceeded that amount. J.T. O'Sullivan, had a respectable 80.3 QB rating despite his turnovers, (even though a QB needs to know how to protect the ball while being sacked, I chalk those two fumbles up to the Offensive line not protecting J.T.) But still, among active QB's he's ranked 14th in the league, and in total yards on offense they are ranked 22nd. Even if they loose to Seattle, If they still play a solid game and continue to improve their offense from their dead last 32nd rank from a year ago, Nolan will continue to coach through the season.
Kiffin on the other hand, after the Raiders horrible display against Denver on Monday night, doesn't have that luxury.

I'll take an alternate side, because the NFL head coach that's on the top of the hot seat this season is Detroit Lions' Rod Marinelli.
Kiffin and Nolan continue the recent streak of unsuccessful Bay Area football, but I'd have to blame their front offices more than the head coaches themselves.
...The Lions have spent a lot of money on players, and mixed things up so much, and Rod Marinelli hasn't done much with anyone. Too much talent for so little success in Detroit.
