I forgot the book 7 title thread! D:

K, so book 7 is called:

Rapture of the Deep
Being an Account of the Further Adventures of
Jacky Faber
Soldier, Sailor, Mermaid, Spy

All I know is that the Hispanic pirate mentioned in BLH is making an appearance, and it will take place in the Caribbean with pirates, treasure, and etc. Jaimy's supposed to be in the book for a bit longer, but you know they'll get seperated YET AGAIN somehow. D:

Also, the "mermaid" thing sounds interesting. biggrin It's supposed to come out Sept. 2009, so we only have a year to wait!

yeah Jaimy and mermaids!! That is very quite interesting.... I wonder if Jacky is going to get into a bizarre situation where she has to pretend to be a mermaid....that would be wild! Can't wait a year!!! whee

only a year? ONLY A BLOODY YEAR?! i dont think the word "only" fits well in that sentence. you sound as if you'll actually be able to live through a whole year without a new book? aah!! dying dyyyyyying dyyyyyyyyying.

So I looked up the title, since the others have always had something to do with it and found:

: a state of euphoria and confusion similar to that of alcohol intoxication which occurs when nitrogen in normal air enters the bloodstream at increased pressure (as in deep-water diving) —called also rapture of the deep

Also, lyrics for the Deep Purple song with the same title, which could actually be slightly related, though it's not a traditional folk song like the others:

Still reading it, but I think that they cover should be a bit different considering it's her swimming suit. It should be shorter and she should have the flippers on and goggles.
