How did you find out about Gaia and what did you first love about it?

I found gaia through livejournal many years ago. I think I stopped using LJ at the time I got into Gaia to be honest. I was told of an 'online' marriage a couple friends were doing on this community and I was invited to their 'wedding'. Thinking it a cute idea, I made an account. Fell in love with Gaia instantly.

I find gaia when I was searching gor a Manga/anime searching page, who remember the cool searching that gaia had when it started ^_^U and the love forum XD it was funny you needed to choose among boy/boy, girl/girl and boy/girl categories to enter frist blaugh

Pi-sama I find gaia when I was searching gor a Manga/anime searching page, who remember the cool searching that gaia had when it started ^_^U and the love forum XD it was funny you needed to choose among boy/boy, girl/girl and boy/girl categories to enter frist blaugh Yeah, I remember the love classifieds. It turned into people looking for cyber partners so it was closed down. XD

A friend of mine introduced me to Gaia and made em an account. So I may actually have joined earlier than I orginally thought. Her name was toxiana I think, but I couldn't or wasn't fitting in but back then I only went to chatterbox not knowing where else to go. Eventually I gave upon that account and made this one. Not too long later, Danelia (Aoi Shinu) went and bought me my first Faekat, Ris. So I started hanging out on here more thinking the breedables were such a neat idea. I mean I liked RPing but with actually characters with their own image already made. I got sucked in (though I have no where near as much as some people. I can actually list all mine.) Anyway, I hung out in guilds then, had a RP guild with Aoi Shinu called Fantasy Traders which was booming before we went into guild form, then we were told to shut it down for various reasons. After awhile we worked on it making a working guild abiding by all gaia rules. Even got some kind words form a mob who thought we did a great job rebuilding what we started. Anyway, Mostly the RP world took me in and I have stuck around but still haev had some dry periods where I don't show for months. But in all I would never leave gaia. (Even trying to get my husband more into it. Even made him get some Fae.) But I will be here until I get so old I can not type anymore. If it lasts that long anyway.
Maybe that was a bigger explanation than needed but I just got into the flow and let it all out. ^__^

I found Gaia through a friend that told me this was a nice site, so I joined and now I love this place!

I saw a friend on Gaia in the school Library and thought the Avatars were SO cute that I had to get one of my own. ^-^ I'm very glad that I did. I've made a lot of friends on Gaia but best of all I met my husband here. heart We've been married for 1.5 years now and happy as ever. Seems like I owe this site a lot for helping me find my husband.
And no, we didn't meet in the classifieds, we met in a Guild. (Classifieds scared me) It was definatly not on purpose and we were friends for 3 years before we started dating. whee

I found gaia threw quizilla. I had been reading one of the story quizzes they had on there, and was looking for more by a specific person and they had a banner for gaia in their page. I dropped quizilla and stayed here because, here I actually have a say in what happens in the story.

Mmm. It was the summer after sixth grade. I wasn't old enough, but I was close to being 13. I made an account and was brought to numerous roleplays in Barton Town. I failed at them and at the time, I was into high school sort of stuff because I wasn't at that age yet and it was all mysterious to me on what it would be like, ya know? The friend and I then split up and I quit gaia, then came back. Repeat.

well i first found out about gaia was when my friend told me that it was like a great place ever! and i was like omg really!? and she was like yea toadally! lolx and i was like i want one and she was okay this is how you do it and she showed me and i was like tankx! and the first thing i liked about gaia was the fish... i mean i heart fish! lolx i love money and shop!
